    — Her words fell upon deaf ears, mind turning, shifting as he just simply continued. The heat that was being washed away by the cold made body go numb, human fingers not being able to curl up into a fist, nor touch the blade at his side without pain from how chilled the metal had become. "Damn it fox girl; get lost!" The sparks of flame, ports opening to release it, all of it made the man growl deep inside as he felt her presence right behind him. Don’t do it. Don’t do it idiot. 

        Words wanted to come out as snarls, fingers of the Nasod arm beginning to curl up into a fist. What was he thinking in that thick skull of his? It took everything in his power not to react on first thoughts just this once; not to swing around and slam the girl with a fist of fire out of rage. "When someone tells you to get the fuck away, take the damn advice!” Teeth were gritted, flames pattering out of the mechanical arm as he was struggling to focus on just continuing to walk. Get away.. Get away before I do something stupid. The thoughts continued on, begging, maybe to be answered by the other but there was obvious doubt. Footing was a stomping, golden optics narrowed before he twisted around, facing her and looking down to her. "Go back home, Ara. Before I do something else I regret.” 

❀; — Of course he wouldn't listen. He never does. Not when he's like this. It wasn't the matter of her "thick skull," according to the other, this was a matter of trust and friendship. Why does he not accept her assistance?

                                 Why can't her kindness be accepted for once?

     "No, I wont! I refuse!" Clenching fists and tears pooling in amber optics, the stubbornness that was hardly ever shown reared its head. Never would she ever leave a comrade behind in such a dire situation, even if the other denies it. Her head was bowed, but now she gathered the bravery it took for her to look at the man straight in his eyes. Ara was persistent in training and such, yes, but never this courageous. It was hard to look someone in the eye, especially when speaking a lie. False statements rarely slipped her tongue, and this was no exception.

             "I want to help you, Raven."                        A hesitant hand stretched outwards.                                       "You were kind to me. Kind to us. I want to return that."

❀; — "A group of kids with weapons?" That sounded awfully like her own group of friends. Though, no other group could be as... well, diverse and unique as hers. "Aside from my own friends, no, I haven't. I apologize." A tilt of the head follows the apology with a sympathetic smile. Thinking of the situation more, in the small amount of time paused, the boy in front of her must be really lost. It would be a bit strange if suddenly an offer to help slipped from her mind, due to the fact the boy is unknown to her memory and he could possibly be dangerous, especially if he and the people similar to him had weapons.

                  But Ara was too nice. Too trusting.

    Hands folded on the cover of the picture book. "Would you like some assistance in looking for you friends, or at least going back to where you're from? You seem very lost, si--" A gulp. No formalities. Upon elevating herself from the stone she rested on, her fingers fiddled with the large coat she wore. "I'd be happy to help."

╣HUNTER╠ — The girl was awfully skittish as far as he could tell, but when he eyed the book that she placed off to the side, he started to understand a little as to why she was acting like this. Frantz acted the same way whenever Professor Ozpin or Goodwitch happened to be in the area while he was playing games on his P2G in middle of something important, but who would’ve thought a girl around his age would be reading a children’s book of all things? It would’ve been a bit more comical if it weren’t for the fact that he was busy.

"I’m probably only around your age, so cut me some slack with the formality, will you?" The boy huffed, "And, I just got out of the forest, currently on foot to look for my team that I was supposed to meet up with…. Speaking of which, have you seen a group of kids around my age and height? They have weapons, like I do."
