*:・゚ Just a scratch *:・゚
Sonja hit the ground with a thud. The only thing that had separated her from a horde of infected was a chain link fence with a top lined in barbed wire. She scrambled to her feet, there was still a chance -- with that many on the other side -- that they could knock down the fence. A sharp pain caught her off guard. Sonja managed to cut her ankle on the barbed wire. Sucking in a sharp breath, she tightened her grip on her knife and forced herself to turn around. Sonja had landed into the backyard of an old house. It looked like the military had sectioned it off, hence the large fences and dangerous barbed wire.

Sonja's body relaxed. She didn't seem like much of a threat, after all... she did surrender. Whatever words she meant to say died on her lips, and she sighed. Her gun lowered reluctantly.
"You armed?" Her hand brushed her bangs from her eyes.
“Don’t move! Stay where you are!” Sonja’s finger dipped from the side of her gun to the trigger. She had come home from a supply run to find someone digging around her camp, scavenging from her supplies.

"You don’t seem afraid at all. I don’t understand that."
"Only when we are no longer afraid, do we begin to live. Read that somewhere before the world went to shit. Kinda stuck to it." Sonja’s lips curved into a tight lipped smile. Of course, there was always going to be that fear burning inside of her, but it was best she kept it subdued. Survival was hard enough without being afraid, Sonja didn't want to imagine survival with it.

"Hey, does anyone have a pen?"
"Hope is a very dangerous thing to lose."
"You make excellent bait!"
”I don’t feel sorry for you, I pity you.”
"Sorry, fresh out of sweet forgiveness."
"Sorry. I’m sneakier than I give myself credit for."

I’m doing a little test to prove to my friend that most RPers don’t get offended or take it personally if threads get dropped and understand that muses can be fickle or you lose the feel of a thread and that’s okay.
Reblog this if you don't take dropped threads personally
