Let’s walk in this world,
you and I, together.
Let’s be explorers
of the sacred every day.
We will voyage into the heart matters
to compare what we learn
and have yet to figure out,
then gently collapse inside the mystery
of what we may never understand.
Let’s be pilgrims in a land
of prismatic doors to be opened,
and we’ll savor each realization
that steps through.
We’ll be life’s devoted pupils,
asking questions religiously,
discerning glimpses of truth
in one another’s eyes.
And you won’t insist you own every answer,
and I won’t pretend to be holding all the keys.
For you are ever the enlightened one
in the acceptance of not infinitely knowing...
and I will always be the seeker,
not the one who claims the way.

“There is a language older by far and deeper than words. It is the language of bodies, of body on body, wind on snow, rain on trees, wave on stone. It is the language of dream, gesture, symbol, memory. We have forgotten this language. We do not even remember that it exists.”
— Derrick Jensen, from “Silencing,” A Language Older Than Words (Chelsea Green Publishing, 2004)

My heart is burning with love-
All can see this flame
My heart is pulsing with passion
like waves on an ocean
I’m at home wherever I am
And in the room of lovers I can see with closed eyes
the beauty that dances behind the veils
intoxicated with love
I too dance the rhythm
of this moving world
I have lost my senses
in my world of lovers-

“He, who had done more than any human being to draw her out of the caves of her secret, folded life, now threw her down into deeper recesses of fear and doubt. The fall was greater than she had ever known, because she had ventured so far into emotion and had abandoned herself to it.”

“Love is the true state of the human heart. When we love, we unguard our hearts. We open ourselves up to the world with- out any restraint. When passion flows, desires stir, our earthy senses become dull, and our ethereal self becomes illumined. At this stage, we are naked, totally naked, with little or no covering of ego.”

“I have loved people passionately whom I wouldn't have slept with for anything, but I think that's something else. That's friendship -- love, which can be a tremendously passionate emotion, and it can be tender and involve a desire to hug or whatever. But it certainly doesn't mean you want to take off your clothes with that person. But certain friendships can be erotic. Oh, I think friendship is very erotic, but it isn't necessarily sexual. I think all my relationships are erotic: I can't imagine being fond of somebody I don't want to touch or hug, so therefore there's always an erotic aspect to some extent.”

A new year opens vistas
Teeming with profound possibilities
For folks to metamorphose into stars
Provided they make good the propulsion of probabilities.
A new year affords a chance
To grace, bless and to assess
The right wrong balance
In an effort to forestall any further stress.
A new year swings into action
An opportunity to recast lives
Into the right direction devoid of malefaction
As the dawn of hope arrives and thrives.
A new year whips sorrow
Into submission and humiliation
So long as society seizes tomorrow
To spread affection, benediction, restoration and cooperation.

“As my sufferings mounted I soon realized that there were two ways in which I could respond to my situation – either to react with bitterness or seek to transform the suffering into a creative force. I decided to follow the latter course.”

“I am the most tired woman in the world. I am tired when I get up. Life requires an effort I cannot make. Please give me that heavy book. I need to put something heavy like that on top of my head. I have to place my feet under the pillows always, so as to be able to stay on earth.
Otherwise I feel myself going away, going away at a tremendous speed, on account of my lightness. I know that I am dead.
As soon as I utter a phrase my sincerity dies, becomes a lie whose coldness chills me. Don't say anything, because I see that you understand me, and I am afraid of your understanding.
I have such a fear of finding another like myself, and such a desire to find one! I am so utterly lonely, but I also have such a fear that my isolation be broken through, and I no longer be the head and ruler of my universe.
I am in great terror of your understanding by which you penetrate into my world; and then I stand revealed and I have to share my kingdom with you.”

In You The Earth
Little
rose,
roselet,
at times,
tiny and naked,
it seems
as though you would fit
in one of my hands,
as though I'll clasp you like this
and carry you to my mouth,
but
suddenly
my feet touch your feet and my mouth your lips:
you have grown,
your shoulders rise like two hills,
your breasts wander over my breast,
my arm scarcely manages to encircle the thin
new-moon line of your waist:
in love you loosened yourself like sea water:
I can scarcely measure the sky's most spacious eyes
and I lean down to your mouth to kiss the earth.

Still My Mind - Act 1
by Bentwig420
Still it rushes through me,
in every pore,
through every cell.
What is this . . .
what feeling is this?
I cannot tell,
what secrets unveil
capabilities
unknown to limits.
This absolute immersion
blankets my every
conscious thought.
Drawing you closer,
bringing you here.
So close to me I dare not say -
still not within my sight.
I feel your breath,
heat penetrating my skin
like a hard summer rain.
I feel your face, your eyes,
trace your mouth
with my fingers.
You give me breath
so close to your mouth,
still we do not touch.
Smoldering fantasies
ignite burning,
lust and longing.
Desire tempts me.
"Move closer . . . " she whispers,
"closer, closer. "
A paradox? Closer to you,
like the finest lace -
our bodies occupy exactly
the same space.
Deeper you come!
Taking you in -
surrounding me and filling
me up- and down- push, shove
CRASH!
Eyes open, must I see?
Truth is now . . . this reality.
