Honestly part of the problem with this obsession with only consuming unproblematic fiction is that people are less likely to acknowledge when something is harmful. If you so much as say hey this one joke in this one episode was offensive fans will write you an essay on why it wasn’t. Because they’ve created a world view where this is basically accusing them of being a bad person who has committed an unforgivable sin.

So... Does skywarp adopting sunstorm as a baby bro have anything, even subconsciously, to do with his feelings of guilt over not saying anything about Starscream abuse sooner? (I think there was a comic that touched in that somewhat?)

Like sunstorm does LOOK like Starscream and he's younger and in some ways vulnerable and maybe there's a part of skywarp that just doesn't want to make the same mistakes.

being a humanities major who’s friends with stem majors is so funny because you’ll ask your friends what they’re doing today and they’re like “UGH it’s so stressful i have to stabilize the reactor core for my nuclear power midterm and then i have to build the supercomputer from i have no mouth yet i must scream for my electrical engineering homework :/ what about you” and you’re like “oh well i have to read a fun little book and write an essay about gender.” and they still think you have it worse
