Summer youth career exploration program experience has positively influenced me and my career skill. This sycep experience has been very helpful for my personal development, and also give an job experience.   

     within the four week of this program i got to learned an new things about building career skills, communicate with people by taking sharing learning from the from the other worker in this program and the most important i got an job experience. By attending the professional and personal development training i gained the habit talking and sharing views and ideas to the other .  

  This program has positively influence to achieve my goal by giving key lesson through presentation , workshop, reading and writing. And also encourage about building up good community and provide services to the community. In this program i got to learn many thing that could possibly helpful to aheive my goal and made my career.

  Through the weekly workshop in this program i have face some challenging work, i learned to go through the challenges and use my strength in daily work. SYCEP is the best program that help me to gain my confindence and the collect the best working experience.

My dream job is to become the registered nurse and help people to achieve good health. I would like to conduct an nursing duties in the hospital and the community. I am going to give my best effort to help sick people feel better during their illness by giving the best care. 

                 The day i remember when i was suffered from serious illness, i taken to the hospital.There was a nurse taking care of me. She used to take care of me with her caring and cheerful face i feel like half of my pain is gone.She cared me,make me comfortable until i got discharged from the hospital.She has became my first  inspiration to be a nurse and help and care the sick people.I am aimed to be a nurse and i am fully focused in this career. I want to try my hardest to help sick people feel better during their illness by showing them a kind face as i treat them. 

                 Everytime when i saw nurses in the hospital working hard caring the patients i got inspired to become an strong nurse.And got even more interested to be nurse and help sick people by providing them medical treatment and work hard to make them feel better. Nursing is my passion and i am committed towards this mission. 

           To make my dream job of helping and caring sick people comes true in future  i will be giving my all effort and work hard. There is lots of opportunities for nursing courses iam going to take the advantage of this opportunity and work hard to reach my goal.

Everyone have their own strengths which lead to their goals. . My strengthsquest strength are consistency,responsibility,harmony, deliberate,activator.i can build my strength within my worksite and outside of worksite.

      My worksite has been very helpful to improve or develop my strengths.Within my worksite i always keep focus to fulfill all my duties and responsibilities that has given to me. while outside of my worksite i am building my strength by being dependable and being accountable so people will trust on me.People should have consistency to achieve their goals.To build up my strength of consistency  I tried to keep my views and actions consistent and always set the specific goal and focus on it.

      One of my strengthsquest strength is harmony .I can build this strength  by making good relationship with people and also treating everyone fairly.The strength i got in strengthsquest is activator. i would like to make difference in community as an activator to build up this strength i volenteer different kinds of program and also in my worksite i attain seminars and meeting.

     Through this strengthquest i figure out what my talents and strengths are. i will work to build up my strengths and make them as weapons to reach my goal.

During time working i keep myself more accountable by focusing only in  my work .This worksite has became  a good opportunity for me to take a responsibilities and fulfill them and keep myself accountable to my work.

    Taking care of every work isn't easy but i tried to fulfill every task that is given to me. I have been given responsibilities of taking care of students and helping them.It feel good to help them with there assignment and working with them.Although it sometime get difficult  to deal with students I have always been actively working to help them.

This is my first experience working in this site with different people i keep working hard, making new friends, as well as focus in my work. Everyday is  challenging working in the this program but i am have learn to overcome the challenges.

      In conclusion i would say that within a time working in this program i got experience and learn a new thing in every single day.

I work in the Migrant  Education  Program and it is my  first time working  in this program. As a new employee i got some challenges in my  work. My work there is to interpret and lead new students and also help them to do their assignments as well as leading them.

   The first  thing is language and how to create a good relationship with students and make them feel comfortable with me. As i am assisting middle school students and most of them are from different ethnicity and speak different languages.Sometimes it is kind of  difficult  to make  some of them to understand  what they were asked to do  by their  teacher. Although i had gone to this program as a student before,now i feel like an adult  working there  and taking care of students as a staff. i have got a responsibilities and duties to show myself as good employee .The reason my co-worker and the teacher working whom i work with  are  helpful  and kind i haven’t face any obstacles .There isn’t  hard time for me.

          After working in this program  with different kind of people  i believe  adaptability is the most important factor for person  to be able to  adjust oneself  readily  to different condition. Although i haven't been in U.S for long time and have little knowledge  of this society it wasn’t  easy for me to engaged with the people in here. But  in this new work place i got chance to meet with people of different community and ethnicity in this work  place . It is good opportunity for me to learn to adjust  and be friend  with  different  people  of  different  communities.

             Within this time in this  program  i have gain  experience  of working  and dealing with the students . I  will overcome all my challenges  to move on and  willing to adapt in this new workplace as well.
