sydney adjusts her long brown wavy wig before spritzing her face thoroughly with setting spray. the uber app says that her uber x is 2 minutes away, so she quickly puts on a pair of miu miu heels and heads out the door. a sleek black car stops at the curb and a man gets out to open the door for her. sydney slides into the backseat as the man turns back to her. “going somewhere fancy ?” she smirks at him. “what do you think ?” the rest of the ride is filled with silence until they pull up to the swanky waldorf astoria. sydney gets out without a word, and the adrenaline courses through her body as she approaches the lobby of the hotel. the valet opens the door for her and she smiles curtly at him before beelining to the bar. the bartender hands her a sam pellegrino with lime, and she looks under the napkin he handed to her, covered with room numbers and the numbers to the safes on the back. there is also a small yellow envelope with room key cards. she smiles knowingly at the bartender, whom she had bribed beforehand. she memorizes the numbers quickly before disintegrating the napkin in her drink. sydney makes her way up to the 10th floor, starting higher because she knows there are more valuables the higher up the room. “here we go...” she whispers almost inaudibly, pulling out her phone and calling the main desk. “room 1031, please.” soon, she hears the telephone ringing in the room she’s outside of, and no one picks up, indicating that the room is currently unoccupied. she swiftly swipes the card and heads straight to the safe, grabbing a few bottles of whiskey on the way and taking several grand out of the safe. suddenly, she hears the door click. “shit,” she mutters, closing the closet door and hiding, hoping that the person coming in was a maid or didn’t hear her.

hi qts !! so i missed the opening of this rp bc i’m actual trash and passed tf out like ok leave it to me to do smth like that lmao. but anyway my name is zara and i've been apart of the rpc for like 6 years now (wow wtf where has the time gone omg n why am i rambling sm srry) and i haven't rped in a while at least on tumblr (rip twitter rps) so i'm v excited to plot and para and write w everyone ! hmu or like this post if ya want to plot, etc. under the read more is a lil about my lil moody, manipulative, destructive bean sydney ! (i based her character heavily on letty from the show good behavior).

ok ok so sydney, (if u want to get on her bad side call her syd, but everyone is automatically on her bad side anyway bc she hates everyone n gets easily annoyed lol) is a shitty ass selfish person tbh. that’s not to say she doesn’t have redeemable qualities— she is authentic and realistic and she doesn’t fuck around. she is extremely manipulative, charming when she wants to be, persuasive & alluring. she can turn on any persona when she wants but it’s always to obtain something she desires. if she’s being nice, it’s not genuine n she needs something ! she has multiple different facades that she has invented over the years— that’s how she got rich in the first place. she has stolen money & luxurious items including cars (!!), jewelry, designer clothing and handbags, handles of liquor, etc. she’s addicted to stealing— it gives her a rush like no other. she also never gets caught— well, she did one time and that’s when she went to jail for 4 years for petty theft, but she loathes that she got caught and she’ll deck you in the face if you bring it up. she doesn’t necessarily keep her arrest a secret bc she is incapable of being ashamed about anything (she doesn’t have normal human emotion) but she doesn’t like to exploit the fact it happened. it takes away from everything she portrays— uncaring, incredibly tactical, etc. all she does is steal, but it can get intense bc she literally steals peoples’ identities and owns several wigs (shoutout to letty from good behavior damn that show’s amazing 10/10 would recommend !). she goes to fancy hotels n charms the bartender/other staff members while drinking (she drinks excessively n she def has an alcohol addiction) and finds the keypad code to get into the rooms that she knows people are not in, breaks into their safes & steals everything they own. that’s how she worked her way up— by hard work, maybe, but not by being a good person, instead by being a criminal and a fraud. people aren't aware of what she does bc she’s good at keeping it a secret and covering her tracks (unless ya want to plot that out) ! that’s all for rn !!
