Events To Attend in Sydney

Chinese New Year - January/February 

With very large number of Sydney residents being of Chinese origin, this is one of the most colorful and interesting festivals in the city. Depending on the phase of the moon this amazing celebration is held in January or February. 

The festival spreads over the few days, with a large parade being the most important event. Chinese New Year is also a great opportunity to try some authentic food from different parts of China.

Sydney Festival - February 

This largest cultural event in the city has been held for over 25 years. Every January the city becomes big outdoor cultural centre with free concerts, street theatres, street art and much more. Performers from all over the world come to Sydney to show their best work. This is a great opportunity for local residents to participate in great events that are normally not available to the general public.
