Du'aa for Laylatul Qadr

 ‏اللهم إنك عفوا تحب العفو فاعف عني

Transliteration: Allaahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘annee

Translation: O Allaah; You are The One Who pardons greatly; and You love to pardon; so pardon me.

Ramadān is derived from the word ramad [رمض] which means “to burn via intense heat”. This is because Ramadan is a means to burn away your sins through worship and good deeds. May Allah allow us to wipe away our sins this upcoming Ramadan.

I hope Ramadan brings the ease we all so desperately need. The ummah has suffered and witnessed immense pain in such a short space of time. Ya rabb, forgive us for our shortcomings and give us ease أمين
