My goal is transcend the matter.. to transcend my ego and yours along the way, and go beyond your usual sense of perception. Touching a profond zone of your mind and simply please your senses and your soul, so materially and immaterially.. nothing else. This sense of sublimation is very subtile and delicate.. Despite the fact marble are not really trendy to use in contemporary art, I found it so attractive and sexy.. the way light caresses it is unique and timeless.. There’s a lot to think and discus here .. -while it is very trendy in architecture now it isn’t in art . - it’s not the matière which make a sculpture contemporary or not. - marble have such a strong a unconscious imprint in our collective mind.. it connect you to the past.. thanks to Michelangelo, Bernini, Canova, Rodin and other friends.. - lastly.. who cares ..? I don’t make art to be categorised and archived.. but rather explore the power of humans mind, conscious and unconscious..
