"Why do you hide?"

Older piece of mine inspired by the cut voicelines from Freddy that implied he would have become an enemy at some point. There's a scrapped second part of this piece where Freddy would push the arcade cabinets to the side in order to look directly at Gregory. Maybe one day I'll remake these but I want to post this one right now since it's part of my commission sheet

(Bonslaught is a bit stanced here but if they were standing straight up the top of their head would reach the blue line instead of their hair tuffs!)

So these two were made during a contest in the FNaF subreddit discord where you had to make a Pokemon based off a FNaF character or concept. I wasn't part of the contest itself but I did decide to draw alongside the actual contestants, and these were my results!

Hareo (Hare + Hero) is a spunky little rabbit that doesn't know when to give up. They want to protect everyone around them but they also wants to prove to everyone that they're not a pushover. Due to their small size, they attacks mainly with those floating ears of theirs. They pack a good punch when flung forwards....

... the real problem comes when they slingshot back. Hareo's design and personality is based off Adventure Springbonnie from FNaF World and their shiny is based off Springtrap.

Bonslaught (Springbonnie + Onslaught) is a deceptive bastard that wants nothing more than to paint the floor with you. They're very good at pretending to be friendly but really they're just looking for a future target to toy around with and maim. Despite their floating ears still being functional, Bonslaught prefers to attack their prey personally with their ghostly electric claws. With every kill their claws gain a bit more electricity. They say the easiest way to tell the danger level of a Bonslaught is to check how bright their claws are. Bonslaught's design and personality is based off William Afton and Glitchtrap and his shiny is based off Scraptrap.

This evolution line has a Fredbear counterpart I intend to draw eventually. I'd like to draw both these lines interacting a lot since they've been on my mind for the whole month lmao

God this feels ancient but this was my concept for Eclipse before Ruin came along and showed the actual Eclipse! I don't think Ruin had even been announced by the time I made this. I suppose I got it partially right because this guy was made for emergencies. They're meant to be a giant beacon for any kids hiding due to whatever was going on (in this case it was a Plex-wide power outage!). This safety/emergency mode wouldn't have been controlled by Sun or Moon. Just a temporary being with a real simple AI compared to everyone else.

I'm glad the actual Eclipse is also a chill dude meant for emergency situations. Hopefully we'll see him again without his two primary AIs trying to smother each other 💀

Idk why I didn't upload this guy earlier, but this was my Discord pfp for October. It was a Halloween Eclipse design based around your usual Halloween things. We're long past Halloween now but the same goes as for the previous pfp designs I've made. If you want to use it as a pfp? Feel free! Just make sure to credit me if you choose to 👌

There's no colored lines this time because I knew if I started that I wouldn't finish the piece in time 💀💀

New pfps for the Tumblrs! It's been a while since the last ones after all, and I really didn't like the old Sun one. The Moon one is actually a nod/vague remake of the original Moon pfp. I just love the circles with the 'stars' like the castle has in the Daycare. As mentioned last time, anyone is free to use these anywhere so long as there's credit given!

Keep an eye out though, because there's supposed to be an Eclipse pfp with this set, but I'm taking a small break from it right now.

Below this readmore is the same Sun artwork but at a smaller size because the default file size was too big for Discord and Tumblr. I wanted to upload the normal file though for quality reasons 👌

Made this for a discord icon contest in May. I wanted to upload this after it was used for the discord server he was submitted for so here he is now!

I usually make my images bigger and am a lot more careful when it comes to coloring lines but since this was just for a discord icon, I figured I could be a bit lazy 💀

I did some art for a Pokemon fusion contest and this was my first set of drawings. I ended up asking for this guy not to be my submission because it looked more like a redesign than a fusion.

This is a Silvally-Arceus fusion! Silvally was meant to be a man-made Arceus after all, so why not make him look more like one? Their colors are based off the ‘type ???’ Arecus sprite that was found in D/P/PL’s files.

This was the final line I made before Subjectively’s Mazah region contest ended. This was hands down my favorite batch of drawings. I’d had this idea since I’d finished my Mazian Lucario but I held off on doing it until the end. I considered making a Zangoose line to go with them but the contest would only choose one Pokemon/Pokemon line per person if that person were to win. A regular Zangoose would fit their story about humans introducing mongoose into foreign environments just fine. This is a split evolution line where Seviper can evolve into Cleavillain or Asparition depending on how a battle ends.

digSo I was not a fan of that horrid sign they showed for the FNaF movie. Folks keep trying to excuse the artwork by saying “Oh it’s just like the old Chuck E Cheese logos” and “Oh Fazbear Entertainment is poor at this point in the timeline so of course the sign looks iffy”. 

And to that I say “that’s some bullshit” and “please stop excusing shitty lazy business practices”. 

The design for the head so heavily references LadyFiszi’s poster merch that it looks traced at first glance (still convinced it is to a degree), and then there’s gloves for some reason?? Freddy’s got one hand doing an odd finger curled wave while the other looks like it’s holding a mic that isn’t there. It’s a mess. So I figured I’d make a concept and throw it out there.

The artwork for Freddy comes from the Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza poster we got a couple weeks before Security Breach released. His left arm and hand have been photoshopped so they lean on the sign, and his eyes have been turned blue with some eye shines. The sign beneath is the exact same because I had no qualms with that part of the official sign.

The first time I saw the official art for Dudley my first thought was that it needed another pass because it looked uncanny as hell to me. So I decided to try and make a tamed down version of fella even though we only see him once ingame. Not much changed outside of proportions and making the hair look more horn-like. If fella was meant to be the next mascot for Joey Drew Studios then he should have some form of a callback to the one that started it all.

This maned wolf line was my second submission into the Subjectively Mazah region contest. I thought it’d be fun to make the line have an underlying theme of mimicry in nature. The Pokemon being mimicked here are Zoura and Arcanine, although the Arcanine mimicry was mostly dropped by the time the design was finished.

Manemic These Pokemon are an example of natural mimicry. Manemic’s silohuette matches that of a Zoura close enough to scare away any predators that want to avoid the ‘Zoroark’ that must be with it. It is unknown when the parent pokemon began the tradition of applying berry juice to cover their cub’s black markings. All the berry farmers of the Mazah region know is that seeing this Pokemon near their farmlands is an omen for a bad harvest.

Kleptlobo Kleptlobo is the bane of all berry farmers’ existences. Despite their canid appearance, these Pokemon are purely herbivores that eat any and all berries they come across. In the past, these Pokemon would stay far away from civilization with many believing the Pokemon was simply a myth. However, thanks to the increase of forests being cut down for farmlands, these Pokemon have become a somewhat common sighting, for better or for worst. Many with a modern mindset view them as pests, an omen for a bad harvest. Those of the more traditional mindset however view them as a good omen due to the loud roaring bark they release when a Persian has been spotted in the area. Kleptlobo cover their manes and tail in the berries they eat and use the mixture as a scent marker. It is said you can tell the health of a Kleptlobo from the scent marking alone.

This line gave me a lot of trouble and looks very different from the first variation I made. It was originally a three stage line opposed to a two stage, and a lot of ideas that I wanted to keep for the line were dropped for simplicity’s sake.  The first stage was based on both Eevee and Zoura while the second was a transition more than anything. The tails also transitioned into hands meant for scent marking and silent communication as they navigated the tall grasses of their environment. The mane of the third form would’ve been like quills, and the ‘quills’ would release a liquid scent marking that could be rubbed onto a surface. The thing that made me start all the way over was the final form.

I was still new to drawing Pokemon at this stage so the final form was more in my style than in the Pokemon one, and I couldn’t get it to translate over right. The intention from the start was for the form to look almost Zoroark-like in body while also having some Arcanine in it. The Arcanine was more prevalent in the remaining sketch of the scrapped third stage with the markings and fur on the legs. 

In the end, it was just too much and I decided to drop it. It wasn’t Pokemon enough for me, and while I’m sure I could’ve gotten it boiled down into an appropriate design eventually, I didn’t think I was qualified enough to do it in time. I’d love to try again one day, because this three stage line had a very different backstory compared to the two stage one that I finished and submitted.

Bonus:

The berry juices Kleptolobo applies to their Manemics has to be reapplied every two weeks due to the cubs licking it off. They don’t enjoy it, but it has to be done.

Last month I decided to join Subjectively’s Pokemon design contest for the upcoming fangame based on his central america based region, the Mazah region. This was my first batch of designs for the contest, a Mazian form Lucario and their mega evolution.

Lucario (Mazian Form) It is believed the first mazian Lucario was born when the soul of their trainer became lost and needed to be guided to the spirit world. The gemstones and black appendages on the back of their head glow when in the presence of a soul. These Pokemon are a common sight at Day of the Dead celebrations due to their innate ability to sense and guide souls both to and from the other side. It is said that if you follow a Lucario guiding their lost spirits, your own spirit will become lost as well after crossing the border separating our world from the spirit world.

Mega Lucario (Mazian Form) This Pokemon has been the subject of a recent cautionary tale regarding the dangers of mega evolution. Instead of temporarily evolving the Pokemon, the energy from mega evolving mixes with Lucario’s ability to walk between worlds, effectively turning the Pokemon into a living unwilling portal to the other side. Spirits of all variety leak out of this newfound gateway, clinging to the Pokemon and overwhelming it completely. It is said that even if you manage to banish those unwelcome spirits, there’s no guarantee the Lucario’s spirit will be able to find its way back to its body again. it is frowned upon in the Mazah region to intentionally mega evolve your Mazian Lucario because of this risk.

The design had two main inspirations: Xolotl, the soul-guiding god of fire and lightning, and the Xoloitzcuintli, the hairless spirit-guiding dog. The golden markings come from Xolotl while the overall thinner body and limbs and bare tail come from the Xolo, but the two other prelavent design elements come from Día de Muertos/Day of the Dead and owls. 

The Day of the Dead imagery might be there for obvious reasons, but emphasis on marigolds is because marigolds are used to attract souls to their families’ ofrendas. The marigolds on the Pokemon serve the same purpose, attracting any lost spirits their way so they can be taken to where they need to go.

The owl imagery comes from the Mayan myth that owls are messengers from the Underworld and know the way to it. Despite that, owls are not actually seen as good omens. They are seen as harbingers of death that have sworn revenge on men, hence the owl imagery taking over the Pokemon during their mega evolution. 

Bonus: 

This was the original sketch and pose I considered for the mega! I wanted to make it appear that the Pokemon was pained and struggling against something trying to control it, but the disembodied hands/claws cluttered the design too much for me. I ended up settling on the slumped and barely standing pose because it conveyed that there was something wrong at first glance better.

This was an art piece made for the Freddit Discord’s Halloween logo contest. I was one of the 4 that won and it was the Discord’s pfp for about a week! Very late posting this but better late then never.
