Ā  Evanora had no particular opinion of the Void and its denizens. The creatures, at times, made attempts to haunt her premonitions with warnings and threatening signals, to which she often laughed at in the comfort of her little shop. They were tales to share with those fortunate enough to share her company, which had only been skeletons in this present time.
Ā  It’s when she notices a living, breathing figure standing in the doorway that he takes a somewhat longer sip of her wine before setting the glass down. Brushing a few white strands from her shoulder, the witch greets the young woman with as warm a smile as she could muster.
Ā  Ā  Ā  ā€œ My, this is a little surprising. I never expected something as interesting as you to sweep in; have your wings been clipped, little bird? ā€œ
@symbiotic-survivor
Kai’sa had caught wind of this little shop in her travels, full of strange and cursed objects. It piqued her interest, wondering if and void related objects had made their way into the collection. Or something to help with the parasite living on her, threatening to overpower her mind and body every second. She did not carry much hope about the latter, but that was no reason to pass up an opportunity to discover something new.
When she entered the shop her second skin pricked and crawled on her, there were for sure some powerful objects in here.Ā
ā€œWell, I have heard that interesting is what you do here.ā€ Kai’sa replied to the woman, eyes wandering around the shop to various and seemingly random objects.

He stood there, listening to her story. To be in a place like there, where the best thing you could do was try and keep the Void happy by feeding it, seemed like a nightmare. The elder Vastayans of his tribes told him stories of Shurima, how harsh it was to live there. Living in that harsh land combined with the constant presence of the Void would be beyond difficult for anyone.
When she rolled up her sleeve and revealed her suit, his reaction was instant, instinctual. He took a small hop back and growled, baring his teeth, as he looked down at her. He then blinked and realized exactly what he did.
ā€œI-I’m sorry…I didn’t mean toā€¦ā€ He looked away, ashamed. ā€œā€¦I believe youā€¦ā€
Kai’sa stepped back a bit and instinctually got into a fighting stance, void energy humming through the suit. She would probably just try to run away if he attacked, she thought he was a good person and killing him would be a waste of life. She breathed a sigh of relief when he caught himself, thanking her lucky stars that he did not see her as a threat. It was not very often that people believed her.Ā
Able to relax more now, she shot a small smile up at him.Ā ā€œI’ve seen people react worse. Your initial reaction is understandable, I might have reacted the same in your shoes.ā€ Kai’sa rolled her sleeve back down, hiding the suit once again.Ā
ā€œI lived for a while in the Void. Somewhere between ten and fifteen years... It took me a while to find a way out. But now I am here, and understand the threat the Void poses to this world. I am glad to see someone who is willing to fight them off, no matter the cost.ā€

reblog this if you’re an indie roleplaying blog with both an LGBTQIA+ mun andĀ LGBTQIA+ muse(s).
i’m trying to get an idea of how large portion of the indie rp community consists of queer muses being written and represented by queer people themselves.Ā allies, don’t interact.

@fortunesailsĀ replied:
if she needs something more comfortable than the ground to muffle her screams i can volunteer sarah's thighs
Kai’sa is entirely red and is pretty sure this is what dying actually feels like. Death by threat of thighs.

All the thighs going around have exhausted Kai’sa. She’s on the ground. Face down. Muffled screams.

ā€œKai’saā€¦ā€ Xerath mused on the name briefly. ā€œYes, I suppose your efforts are not totally in vain. Once I am free of this sarcophagus, I can assuredly eliminate the Void’s defilement once and for all… But until that day, I am little better than you, unable to do anymore than slaughter whatever Outerbeasts cross my path.ā€
The Magus chuckled. ā€œStill, having such intimate knowledge of the Void’s depths… I do not envy you, girl, but perhaps that knowledge could be of use.ā€ In that moment, Xerath made a decision. ā€œJoin me, Kai’sa. Stand by my side and we shall eradicate the Void together. With your understanding of the beasts and my unrivaled magic, the Icathians’ folly shall be amended at last.ā€
This caught her off guard. There was no one who ever wanted to work with her, most were happy to just let her deal with it and move on with their life ignoring the ever-growing problem. There was also the question of if she could trust him.Ā
ā€œI would like to take any help in taking out the Void, but how do I know you will not try and use the Void for your own means. I’ve met one too many people who think the Void can be manipulated or controlled. Or, just to watch the world be consumed and to be consumed themselves.ā€Ā

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā Vladimir let out a small chuckle as he watched her quickly go back into her pose. He studied her scars with great interest. It was true to what she said, he has never seen scars that are purple. If it was bruised he would understand it being purple. Since it wasn’t the case, it must be from somewhere he never ventured to.
Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  ā—¦ ◁ ā€œTell me about yourself. Only if you feel comfortable. I’m very talkative when I’m painting.ā€ ā–· ā—¦
Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā He started to mix the colors to match her skin tone. The skin was his favourite part to paint. Especially since her face was quite smooth with no wrinkles. All except for the scars. Grabbing a much finer brush, he dipped it into a purple shade while remembering the strange scars.
Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā He leaned in closer to the canvas as he steadied the brush in hand to paint the scars. Sometimes he had to hold his breath as he didn’t want to mess up the piece. He’s fine with other areas beings specked with a different color as he could simply fix it. The skin was not so easy since he wanted it perfect.
Kai’sa had to think for a few moments about how she was going to answer that question. Most of her life had been spent in a living nightmare, but that’s something she probably shouldn’t discuss. But, there were some things she could share.
ā€œWell, I grew up in Shurima, which wasn’t too bad. But, there isn’t a lot to see there anymore. Just sand and monsters. So I recently decided I was going to see the world, experience new things. Seems a little cliche but it has been nice so far. There are so many things that I had never heard about or seen before. And,ā€ She added excitedly,Ā ā€œThere are so many wonderful fruits available all the time!ā€Ā
She watched him paint with a smile, listening to the sound of the brush on canvas. It was soft and organic, the kind of sound that she had been deprived of in the Void.

A Greater Threat
[reserved for @symbiotic-survivor]
The eastern mountains proved to be unforgiving… but it was enough to throw the Noxians off of Garen’s trail. There seemed to be something that made the patrol cause them to hold back from pursuing any further. It was incredibly odd, considering the men had a very distinct trail of blood to follow. At least two arrows met the Demacian’s shoulders, one piercing all the way through his body.
Perhaps it was due to the lack of blood, but Garen’s sense of direction was askew. Traveling northward, he did what he could to find adequate shelter to remove the arrow still embedded in his flesh… and maybe even get some rest. The further he traveled, however, the more he felt as if he was the only living being in the area… even the air seemed to be shallow and stale.
His pace slowed to stop as his head turned around. His instincts were finally telling him that he was not safe… far from it. But by now, it might’ve been too late… the Demacian was on the verge of the Consumed Lands themselves…
Icathia.
Patrolling Icathia was one of the more grueling tasks Kai’sa had given herself. It was teeming with Void life inside the city walls and down into the deep cracks that the voidlings were birthed from. If she was going to figure out how to stop the Void’s spread, Icathia is the best place to learn how to.Ā
Normally all life avoided Icathia, everyone knew to avoid the area, even if they didn’t know exactly why sometimes. That is why when she heard someone dragging themselves across the land she became very concerned. She rushed over to the noise and saw a man bleeding out, clearly unaware that he was moving closer to his own death.Ā
Ignoring how her symbiotic suit would look to the man she went to his side with a concerned look on her face.Ā
ā€œAre you okay? You shouldn’t be here.ā€ Her eyes darted around the area, making sure there were no voildings lurking around.

ā€œI- um - wow. Never really thought you would think I’m attractive. Mostly because you’re so extremely pretty in every way. And I’ve got a creature living on me. But I will take the compliment. I am extremely flattered. And flustered. I’m going to stop talking now.ā€

Seeing her lowering her guns, he relaxed his stance and took his hands off the sword at his side. It wasn’t like he would have done much with it anyway with the distance she had on him. He had magic for that.
Although, it seemed he wouldn’t have to use it after all. ā€œWell. I heard a rumor that something amazing happens out here this time of night. Of course, none of the locals wanted to guide me because - well, I guess because of that thing running around, if all the talk I heard was correct. Ā That’s one less thing for them to worry about. I should let someone know about that. Though people might start asking questions as to why I know the void thing is dead but why I’m not the one who killed it-ā€
He cut himself off, realizing he was going off on a tangent. ā€œAnyway, that had me roaming around this late by myself, and even though I had yet to see said ā€˜amazing thing,’ Ā it’s not like I have much to worry about. He shrugged, looking around the surrounding woods as a breeze blew by, rustling the leaves and bushes around them. ā€œIf anything I couldn’t handle showed up, I could be back at the village in three seconds flat.ā€
Kai’sa listened to his ramblings, a little confused as to how casual he was being when he just saw her fight to the death with a voidling, not to mention how she looked right now. He must have some experience with the Void, which was probably a good thing for the current situation. He also seemed to be relatively friendly, which let Kai’sa breathe a bit easier.Ā
ā€œWell I haven’t seen anything besides that void creature, so I can’t help you there. Although I will warn you, running from something like this is not something you can rely on being able to do. You should be more careful.ā€Ā
Kai’sa looked back towards the village.Ā ā€œI will let them know that the creature is gone, just in case they have questions. But you should probably get back to the village yourself, void creatures aren’t the only dangerous things out here at this time of night.ā€
