It's important to remember that "neurotypical" just means "still able to cope with society's demands and expectations well enough to avoid being psychiatrized". It doesn't refer to some idealized super human who doesn't have any problems, doesn't struggle with anything, never does anything weird and who thrives under the status quo.

NME: Listen to Fiona Apple’s powerful first song in five years, ‘Pretrial (Let Her Go Home)’
Fiona Apple said in a press statement: “I was a court watcher for over two years. In that time, I took notes on thousands of bond hearings. Time and time again, I listened as people were taken away and put in jail, for no other reason than that they couldn’t afford to buy their way free. It was particularly hard to hear mothers and caretakers get taken away from the people who depend on them.”
“For the past five years, I have been volunteering with the Free Black Mamas DMV bailout, and I have been lucky to be able to witness the stories of women who fought for and won their freedom with the tireless and loving support of the leadership,” she continued. “I hope that this song, and the images shared with me, can help to show what is at stake when someone is kept in pretrial detention. I give this song in friendship and respect to all who have experienced the pain of pretrial detention and to the women of the group’s leadership who have taught me so much and whom I truly love.”
Donations to help those affected by pre-trial detention pay their bail and reunite them with their families can be made here. Additionally, you can find out more about the Free Black Mamas DMV here, and register here to volunteer for court watching to ensure fair rulings.

on the 8th of may 1945 nazi germany capitulated and metropolitan france celebrated the end of fascism, the french settler-colonial authorities started a two month long period of massacres against indigenous algerians for daring to protest the colonial regime in favour of independence. known as the sétif, guelma, kherrata massacres, during that time french colonial forces and police, as well as white french settlers, bombed, shot and lynched thousands of algerian muslims and buried them in mass graves. many of them were then dug up and burned. today france claims up to 1000 algerian victims and 200 french ones in "retaliation". it's far more likely to be thousands more victims, some of whom were anticolonial activists but many more were uninvolved civilians who were massacred by settlers with the encouragement and involvement of french military and police. after this, near all algerian nationalist and anticolonial organizations were disbanded and their leaders imprisoned. the army also forced many muslim algerians to kneel in front of the french flag and repeat "we are dogs and ferhat abbas (a proeminent algerian independence activist) is a dog". very few french socialists and communists, some of whom were actively in a coalition with de gaulle in the new government, expressed solidarity with the algerian people or condemned the massacres.
this was eighty years ago today.

Even before his friend and fellow Columbia activist Mahmoud Khalil was arrested by immigration authorities, Mahdawi asked university administrators to help him find a safe place to live so he would not be taken by ICE agents, according to emails reviewed by The Intercept. The school did nothing in response, Mahdawi said.
After ICE abducted Khalil last month, Mahdawi sheltered in place for more than three weeks for fear of being picked up himself.
Instead of taking him off the street, however, immigration authorities scheduled the citizenship test at the Colchester USCIS office and took Mahdawi into custody when he arrived.
Now, Mahdawi is facing an order to deport him to the occupied West Bank, where escalating attacks from both the Israeli military and Jewish settlers have led to increased casualties among Palestinians.
“It’s kind of a death sentence,” Mahdawi said. “Because my people are being killed unjustly in an indiscriminate way.”
…
Earlier this month, Mahdawi received an email from USCIS notifying him that he was scheduled to conduct an interview to obtain his U.S. citizenship. He said he was expecting the interview to take place in December or January, in line with the expected timeline to move from his green card status through the naturalization process. When he received the email, however, he was worried it might be a trap.
In anticipation of the worst, Mahdawi contacted his representatives in Congress, including Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Peter Welch, D-Vt., as well as Rep. Becca Balint, D-Vt., to make them aware of his situation and ask them to intervene if possible.
Mahdawi said he spoke personally with Welch, who said his office would be on standby pending what happened with Mahdawi’s case. Offices for Sanders and Balint said they would remain on standby pending news of Mahdawi’s status after the interview. (Welch, Sanders, and Balint did not immediately respond to requests for comment.)

"International law", like all the other institutions of the imperialist liberal order from the UN to the IMF, is simply a smokescreen which the united states and its running dogs use in order to justify any and all attacks, blockades, sanctions, genocides, etc., etc.. Violations of international law, so long as it is carried out by the west and its allies, are entirely ignored and thus it carries no weight nor consideration for the west. However, for everyone else, it is a way to confine and contain them; to leave them vulnerable to western imperialism.

Tear gas and repression — the Brazilian police’s response to Indigenous communities peacefully marching for their land rights. The crackdown unfolded last night in the capital as Indigenous groups were leaving a peaceful demonstration. Officers used chemical agents against the crowd. Federal lawmaker Célia Xakriabá, of the leftist @psol50, was among those targeted. She required medical attention after being denied passage, despite identifying herself. Brazil’s leading Indigenous organizations condemned the violence, describing it as yet another example of state-sanctioned aggression against their communities. The march had called on the government to officially recognize ancestral lands and protect them from agribusiness interests

liberals love using that quote about not relying on "the master's tools" and then the tool they're talking about is the concept of wielding power to achieve a goal
