My Dream Runway!

I’m Calassea, a freshly turned twenty-year-old, and honestly, it feels like stepping into a brand new chapter wrapped in sunshine and sparkles. People say my smile is warm like the morning sun, and it curves like a pretty little crescent moon, I never thought too much about it, but I guess it’s kind of true. I like the idea that my smile can brighten someone’s day, even just a little. It’s one of those small things that makes me feel connected, like a soft hello from my heart.

When it comes to colors, oh, I have favorites, and I mean true favorites! Black makes me feel cool and confident, white feels fresh like clean pages waiting to be written on, yellow is my burst of joy (like lemon candy on a summer day), and red is bold, passionate, full of fire and feeling. Each of these colors makes me feel something different, and together, they feel like my own personal rainbow, my palette of comfort and energy. I don’t just wear them, I live in them.

One of the best feelings ever is walking down the runway. Especially that one time, when the theme was cotton candy! Everything around me was soft, pastel, and fluffy, like walking through a dream where the clouds smelled like strawberries and the air was full of sweet music. I stepped out with a big smile and that kind of confidence that dances on the tips of my toes.

Happy Our First Five, My Evan!

it started quietly.

a name. a message. a flicker of curiosity blooming into something i couldn’t quite name at first.

but somehow, in the calm hush between your words, i felt it that gentle pull, like a tide drawing me closer. and without even realizing it, i found myself stepping into your orbit, like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Bagian 2: Jika Aku Jadi Sutradara…

aku ingin membuat sebuah film bergenre romantic dystopian fantasy, sebuah dunia gelap yang dipenuhi bahaya, tapi di tengahnya tumbuh cinta yang tidak biasa, lembut dan berbahaya sekaligus. aku ingin menggabungkan kesunyian cinta abadi ala twilight dengan ketegangan sistem dunia yang brutal seperti the hunger games.

tema besar yang ingin aku angkat adalah:

"apa artinya memilih cinta, ketika dunia melarangmu mencintai?"

lebih dari sekadar romansa atau aksi, aku ingin bicara soal identitas, pengorbanan, dan keberanian untuk mencintai di tengah kehancuran. tentang dua jiwa dari sisi berlawanan, satu dari kaum yang diburu, satu dari mereka yang mengejar yang akhirnya saling menyelamatkan dari takdir mereka sendiri.

aku terinspirasi dari cara catherine hardwicke membangun atmosfer emosional dan intim dalam twilight, serta bagaimana francis lawrence menyuguhkan dunia yang keras namun puitis dalam catching fire. keduanya punya cara menyampaikan rasa sakit dan harapan tanpa harus berteriak.

secara visual, aku membayangkan film ini penuh warna-warna pudar, kabut, cahaya senja, kilau api dan bayangan kelabu. hutan berkabut, arsitektur retak, dan tatapan yang diam-diam berbicara lebih banyak dari kata-kata. narasinya akan mengalir pelan tapi intens, penuh dengan monolog internal, seperti membaca surat yang ditulis dari tempat yang jauh dan hancur.

target penontonnya? mereka yang pernah merasa sendirian, terjebak, atau dianggap berbeda. mereka yang tumbuh mencintai dunia twilight dan panem, tapi mencari sesuatu yang baru, lebih dalam, lebih tajam, dan lebih personal. dan kalau aku jujur, mungkin aku membuat film ini juga karena aku butuh ruang untuk menyembuhkan luka-luka yang tak bisa dijelaskan dengan kata-kata, hanya dengan cerita.

UBIETE: SWEET RECALLING

Somewhere on earth, 2025

At that time, one of my roleplay accounts was about to close down, and I was on a mission to find a new one. That’s when I came across @ ubieties, which happened to be in its promotion period. I even received an invitation card from them a while back. But if I remember correctly, I was planning to take a hiatus around that time because of the Lunar New Year holiday, and since my mundane self was also celebrating it, I decided to prioritize real-life activities and take a break from roleplaying first.

A few days after returning from my hiatus, I decided to try my luck and approach Ubieties, just like some of my other friends. If I’m not mistaken, at that point, Ubieties had already revealed its website, which meant it was very close to its opening or grand launch. But I didn’t let that discourage me, I kept trying and started showing my more attention-seeking side (haha) to the Orbiets, the people who would later be choosing us.

To my surprise, I was chosen as one of the Ubiests who passed and made it into Ubieties, using the same face claim from the start until now, NCT WISH’s Jaehee (2005). Ever since then, I’ve felt really happy being here, even though there were one or two times when I felt pretty tired due to a busy mundane schedule and the fast-paced RP life. But that didn’t make me feel burnt out or anything, because whenever I do feel exhausted, I just decide to take a few days off, a little break to “touch grass” or, before continuing again.

And now, it’s hard to believe that Ubieties is already nearing the end of its journey, according to the timeline set at the beginning. Everything went by so quickly and was so much fun, wasn’t it? As for my hopes for Ubieties, I truly wish it will continue to be a warm and comforting home for all of us—Ubiests and Orbiets alike—even until the very end. And even when it's all over, may we still remain one big family, just like before. Aamiin.
