Stella: Right...?

Stella: Is that what you were looking at from downstairs all this time?

Noctis: I was. How long have you been able to see it?

Stella: Ever since i was a child.

Noctis: Near death experience, right?

Stella: Yes... was it the same for you?

Noctis: Yeah. It’s not my fondest memory.

Stella: It's said that the goddess Etro will open the gate as she welcomes the

souls of the departed.

Stella: When that happens, a bright light is set to shine down from the land of

the dead.

Stella: Any who witness that light are rumored to receive great power.

Stella: Or that's how the legend's supposed to go...

Stella: ...the one from Tenebrae at least.

Noctis: We have the same legend here.

Stella: So, did you receive any power, Prince Noctis?

Noctis: Don't think i want anything like that.

Noctis: I am fine the way i am.

Stella: That's what i thought!

Stella: No matter the power, if it's at the cost of someone's life...

Stella: ...it would, it would give me nightmares.

Noctis: Me too. Good thing it's just a fairy tale.

Noctis: But hey, i wouldn't talk to anyone else about the light.

Stella: How come?

Noctis: Being too different from others...

Noctis: ...only causes problems.

Stella: So, if the legend is just some kind of fairy tale...

Stella: What do you think the light really is?

Noctis: It's just something that's there.

Noctis: Why can't that be enough?

Noctis: So uh....

Stella: My name is Stella.

Noctis: Stella... well i should be going now.

Stella: I thought as much. Thank you for your time, Prince Noctis.

Noctis: Call me Noct.

Stella: I should take my leave as well.

Stella: You know, it feels like i was given a power from that light tonight.

Stella: I was given a chance to speak with you.

Noctis: Well then... enjoy the nightmares.

Stella: You're funny, Prince Noctis.

Noctis: Just Noct.

Stella: I'll call you that the next time we meet.

Stella: You should come to Tenebrae one day. I'll show you around.

Noctis: Sounds interesting... i'll consider it.

*Stella exits the scene*

Noctis looks up at the light in the eternal night sky.

Voice from above: Who... are you?

Noctis: I was about to ask the same thing.

Noctis walks away.

*Scene fades to black* *Insomnia invasion begins*
