Is taking these courses, along with potions, at newt level next year, along with his electives and extracurriculars electives and extracurriculars: alchemy and apparition, magical theory quidditch: beater beginning his fifth year after he becomes the second kid to fuck with mcgonagall on a broomstick his fourth year by tampering with the slytherin seekers broom and accidentally rocketing himself towards her office, using magic to destroy the stone wall and then land safely within the headmasters office, not after destroying three magical artifacts beyond repair (”who cares, they’ve already been studied through and through. their only value is in their age. if i was given those materials, i could make it from scratch and better”). she asked he never mount a broomstick again, but sent him one (asking him not to change it to break regulations) when his fifth year rolled around. uses an unreal knowledge of physics to use his physique as a literal tool when he plays pet: barn owl, pecko (deeply regrets this name) patronus: grass snake in the future: can apparate, albeit a little wildly. wandmaker/ magical theorist and researcher with a shetland sheepdog animagus personality: extremely adaptable and quick to react. more than anything loves to learn and aims to discover the core or origin of magic. why slytherin, not ravenclaw: does not follow the same logic based reasoning or have that natural intelligence. he’s just a smol bean who at his core wants to know the secret of why magic works (same sort of chaos driven will to learn, but values ambition, achievement, and greatness for discovery over learning for learning’s sake) doesn’t care about classes, as they do not interest him or he’s just bad at them, but tests exceptionally. he only did outstandingly on his owls because of the outside evaluators and his knowledge of spells and the theories behind them, not because his professors liked him or he studied endlessly for them. his grades are garbage, but he’s only second to hermione in the number of books checked out under his name (at the same age; she’s had years to surpass her numbers back from school tenfold). reads muggle texts on science and magic to explore the ideas of magic that haven’t been considered by wizards. calls ravenclaws nerds and gimps (only because he’s got girls he’s trynna impress and because the door will never let him in no matter how right he thinks he is). bad at making friends outside of quidditch (has one friend in ravenclaw described later!!!) because he loves sharing information no one else cares about and scares them off. had a huge crush on scorpius the two years they overlapped in school and wanted to be his friend so one day he stopped him and tried to explain the possibility of staffs and staves being more powerful than wands and the theories behind wandmaking but obv was taken for just some weird small first year kid and scorpius was like that’s nice imma just be here with my friend albus. later becomes friends with daisy dursley when she watches her study and write letters to her father explaining what she is learning in more mundane terms and later they discussed wizarding inheritance and who genetics and she taught him about muggle genetics and he fell for her head over heels and sometimes just sits there wondering why he isn’t in ravenclaw because wouldn’t that be nice. wants to develop spells for a living and thinks that copyright is a great idea! (“monetizing magic is the future”) loves playing quidditch and plays rather meanly, bordering on dangerous because technically that’s still not breaking the rules lmao (but he would never admit it, because, half the fun as a chaser should be the mystery of did that bludger just come my way or is that skinny prick picking on me??)

history: grew up as the third child with two older sisters in a magical family. his two older sisters were seven (erin) and eight (olivier) years older than him though, so he never got to overlap with them in school. his mother (annika) was a hufflepuff prefect and works at the ministry and his father (jacob) was a slytherin a year older than she. his father, as a pure blood, escaped being pressured into participating in the great wizarding war by going abroad and working as a hex/curse lifter, but returned to attend a number of his friends and classmates funerals. he stayed in england, working to become an auror, and eventually met annika in a little mishap with the law. schuyler grew up in a very loving environment, and was distraught when his magic had yet to manifest by his 10th birthday, as his sister’s had shown promise before they were even eight, but received his letter anyways. said so long to the mundane courses that he had grown tired of (everything muggle had already been theorized and proofed) only to find his wand wasn’t cooperative even after it had chosen him. spent days not sleeping, just practicing and reading (breaking into the restricted section by forging his dafta professors signature to learn how dark wizards force their wands to do their bidding) then became interested in magical theory.

personality & history: equal parts cheery, strong, and cynical while in assiah. resents her grandfather satan for forcing her to search for her half-human uncles rin and yukio (who are hundreds of years younger than her) and monitor them among the rest of the fleas in the human world, but like her uncle mephisto and father amaimon views assiah to be a fun playground where the strong toy with and devour the weak. after centuries of searching the world and finally settling at true cross, thanks to suguro, starts to genuinely love mankind and is fascinated by the amount of passion and ambition they display in their short lifespans. childish during fights and uses her superior strength and abilities to easily overwhelm her opponents and to prevent her comrades from sustaining injuries during a fight. wants to acquire an aria meister and subdue her grandfather. traveled a lot after the twins were born to divert attention from rin and yukio and loves to gift souvenirs to her man after being sent away.  

abilities: second generation demon king - sin of sloth: can make people more drowsy/ unproductive or alert/ diligent, explosives master, control maroon flames, speed and strength (enough to resist the recoil of the hand cannon), decent swordsmanship. is still training with mephisto to hone sloth which usually wears her body down by disrupting the time of her body in equal exchange.

relationships: [with suguro] used to study together, he accidentally almost completed rehearsing her fatal phrase which revealed her identity to him and caused a rift between them, but mephisto interfered and explained her role in bringing satan down while acting as a pawn for the demon king and that her heart lies in assiah and has since she met him. they rebuild on a fragile relationship and eventually become lovers. he is inspired by her strength and blind courage after he hears about her shielding tamers and arias during fights and her companions coming out mostly unscathed while she sustains heavy injuries, even for a demon. she learns scriptures from him and they share each others hopes for the twisted world with each other. she would take him on motorcycle rides and when she left to continue her mission under the guise of taking care of a heavily possessed area, he dyed his hair [with shima and konekomaru] they used to go to cafes together as a group after studying with suguro and they’re good friends. they do not know her true nature and speculate about her often [with kamiki] kamiki fears her, but respects her for her strength and willingness to put herself first to allow tamers to finish their summons
