So what you gotta understand is there's a whole entire ethereal ecosystem. Gods are basically whales... or sharks. I don't know it's not a perfect analogy. But they go around eating up whatever they can find, mortals, angels, demons, smaller gods, what have you.

Angels, they're like the... what are they called? The little sucker guys that follow sharks around? Remoras, yeah. Whole entire school of hangers on. Mutual relationship and all that.

And then demons are the bottom feeders and scavengers. A god dies and its corpse manifests in one of the physical worlds and demons are the guys popping out of the woodwork to feed on that whole mess.

Cuz like, options have always been there for Adversary melees yet never really gave ‘em that treatment, and we’re only now seeing it with the Coda Infested melees.
