The upbringing of the Northgate Rebellion was the tearing between the citizens of Gilneas. Syphe, a close friend of the Royal family, was torn when it came between sides. When it came down to the saftey of Gilneas, or her own pride, she chose the saftey of Gilneas and rebelled against the mere thought of the Greymane Wall. And Liam, being of royal descent, was obligated to side with his father and King, much to his disliking. While fighting under Darius’ command, she fought tooth and nail against the royal’s tough army. She hated how she had to turn against the very one she loved, Liam. Though he knew she would never betray him intentionally, he never held this against her. In fact, Liam was proud of her. The war wagered on for some time. During that time, little communication coerced between the two friends. Thus, anything conversed was through letter. While out questing far in the mountains of Ironforge, Syphe picked a thing or two from the brave dwarven warriors. Enclosed in the letters she would send to Liam during the rebellion, were little woven knotted hearts made from tattered strips of deer hide. (This is a celtic heart knot. I decided this would be a cute backstory for my character.)

And it was then, that the last petals of this forsaken rose were caressed by the silky touch of death’s hand…
