Was talking with @threemanoperation about Will's powers when they mentioned Will's power reveal being used as a supernatural metaphor for coming out or being outed.

Which got me thinking about how the reaction of this reveal from the other characters will go. Cause I don't don't think it'll be positive.

Not that these characters would ever hate Will, but as threemanoperation said, "However his powers are expressed, I don't think it will be pretty at first. It might even repel." I imagine the reactions being those of fear and concern for Will, and "How do we fix this? How do we get rid of it?" I imagine that Will would also have a hard time coming to grips with his powers.

I think it would be an interesting way of exploring the dynamics of coming out without necessarily making these characters come off as homophobic. (Although I do hope that Will encounters some homophobia face-to-face, to emphasize his struggle with his sexuality)

But maybe not everyone would react the same way. Maybe someone who previously encouraged Will about his connection with the supernatural in season 2, might deliver that same kind of much needed encouragement in season 5?
