Oh Paper Clip you have officially destroyed me. Scully getting Mulder back but losing Melissa. Mulder losing his father and then realizing he didn't know him at all. The way both of them now feel like their sisters suffered the fates they should have (Mulder because his father chose him over Samantha and Scully because they though Melissa was her.) Scully going to Mulder's father's funeral because he can't. Mulder letting Scully make the decision about the tape. Scully not even getting to see Melissa before she died. Mulder saying that finding out what happened to Scully is as important to him as the truth about his father and Samantha. And don't even get me started on that last scene. The way he crouched down to be level with her and holds her hand. The look on her face when she says there's no justice in the world. And the way he fucking holds her? I think I like this one almost as much as Beyond the Sea.
