Honestly I see a lot of fics with Mira and Zoey immediately accepting her fully, going full “everything we were taught is a lie, We love you fully, including the demon in you.” and I feel that’s also kinda wrong.

Like, I need to see Mira and Zoey unlearning their demon hatred for Rumi. I need them to realize that Rumi isn’t like an exception, nor is she just “one of the good ones,” but rather that what they’ve learned (what was drilled in their heads for at a minimum of five years) is flawed and having to deal with that fact. It shouldn’t be immediate change.

I really hate that the conclusion some people come to for why it's okay that Rumi is a demon or why Zoey and Mira are okay with it comes in the form of micro aggression with pink bows. A lot of reveal fics come with "you're one of the good ones" sentiments. They love Rumi despite her mixed heritage, not with it... when it was that very same mindset that essentially broke Rumi and led to the events of the movie.

Now, this would be fine and even interesting if it was explored in a deeper, more meaningful way. Unfortunately, it's not. It's always brushed aside. There is no Rumi struggling with the knowledge that while loved, it's not for who she is. There's no Zoey and Mira unlearning their prejudice. There's no examining how parents' beliefs can worm their way into you, even if you want to want them to(Celine)

It's just a little annoying. Now don't get me wrong....there is plenty of what I do want to see, but in my opinion, there's too much of the other still.

We're starting chapter 3 of Spider-Rumi with Lovergirl Mira.

Because honestly, that's my favorite Mira. She's such a softy for her girls.

Counter Point: Rumi’s hair acts as a tail and it should wrap around her girls without her realizing.

I just think Demon Rumi should have a tail and I think she should wrap that tail around whichever one of the other girl's is nearest in a sort of possessive way without even thinking about it

Like, Highschool (or college) Polytrix in which Rumi is incredibly shy and selectively mute after everything she’s been through, but really pretty and seemingly confident, so much so her entire class looks up to her.

Enter Mira and Zoey- the only two who ever try to actually know her and not the idealized version of her.

I absolutely love that trope where One Character is a Skeptic and their friends are trying to get them to believe in the supernatural only for the One to actually be supernatural and trying to protect their friends.

I mean, I was thinking Rumi, but the idea of it being Mira and Zoey is just aughhhsgsjsksh.

One day, late at night, a demon hunting mission goes awry and Rumi gets Separated from the group. After she clears her area, she goes back to where the fight began only to find the bodies of Zoey and Mira lying in a pool of blood, dead next to each other.

Her loves, the people who matter most, the only people who ever mattered, were dead. This breaks her, leaving her so distraught she doesn’t even care about the two shadows casting over her. Nor does she notice one of her dead lover’s hands turning into claws until she’s already been impaled. If she had looked up, maybe she would have realized it was never her loves on the ground in the first place.

Horribly dumb AU in which Rumi thought Mira and Zoey knew about her patterns the entire time but thought they considered them disgusting (as they don’t stop calling demons hideous and saying they should all die) so she would still cover up cuz how dare she bother them with her patterns.

Problem is that Mira and Zoey did NOT know about her patterns. And when she slips up and mentions them, chaos occurs.

What if, one day a group of either cultists or college students (depending on the vibe) decided to do a demon summoning ritual (cuz why not) and just summoned Rumi.

Could you imagine summoning one of the most famous Korean Kpop artists in the world in a demon circle??? How would you even explain that???
