🌟INTEREST CHECK🌟

Introducing my Refrigerator Ita-bag! After 6+ months of development, this is the most complex bag I've designed, and I'm super proud of it! I've taken the lessons and feedback from previous projects and this was the result.

The overall bag dimensions is about 13" x 9 " x 5.5" overall! The padded pocket sewn on was a bit narrowed than I'd like so I am working with my manu to expand that.

Plushie Pouch, ita window, two velcro sides for toploaders or patches, I really wanted to make something for a large variety of goods, not just pins, keychains and can badges.

The bag also has an opening on the back side for easy rummaging and fits my Ipad air (around an 8 x 11.5 inch space)! The front compartments are deep for maximum customizability! Feet on the bottom to help reduce wear and tear! (The insert is 22.5 x 17 cm)

This is my first completely original Itabag design (nom-fanwork), and it has been a labor of love since last year. After the excitement of the Katamari bag in 2023, my passion for making more interesting itabags has only grown, and I hope that I can communicate it through this design!

I am currently running an interest check through my Google form with the intention of running this as a Kickstarter. I'd be mighty grateful for folks to fill out the form if interested. I have questions asking about colors and tablet/laptop sizes so I can provide a better Itabag.

\ o / This year has been pretty wild for the shop. Mainly, I had the opportunity to do a second round of Katamari bags orders after they sold out. I never realized folks would love the bag that much, and I'm honored to be able to produce more who missed out on the original project. I have those up on my shop for those interested.

Since I've had the opportunity to expand and grow since then, I've decided to update this account beyond the initial Project Space Mushroom in order to bring the account more in line with what I've been up to and not let it rot as a dead account. Bringing in a few more cousins is something I'd like to do still if the interest is there for those with a bag, but I am still planning the logistics for how I'd want to do that.

From here on out, I'd like to be more active and share more of my Itabag designs with you all!

Strange question, but do you have any misprinted cousin fronts? Or other manufacturer defect fronts? I lowkey want to try painting one to make Princess, who was never any of the stretch goals. I FULLY understand if you don’t or don’t want to sell those, but I’d be more than happy to buy one from you so I could customize it, if you’re okay with that

Shipping service has been holding my bags hostage since 3/17. I've had 4 "missed deliveries" where I or someone in my home was present and waiting for the shipment but they claim no one was home or the driver claimed they called. I never received a phone call. After 4 days of back and forth with the shipping company rep, bags are being transferred to UPS for delivery, which it should have in the first place. :( Hoping to hear more news tomorrow....

Bags Arriving, Locking Addresses, and Next Steps

The time has come!

Bags are in the country and should be arriving to me very soon, which was a few weeks earlier than initially anticipated!

Whats next:

Tomorrow (11/17 at 9 AM PST), I will be sending out a notification that addresses will be locked 48 hours from then (11/19 at 9 AM PST). Please check that your address is correct or make any last minute changes to their shipping address. If your address changes after the address lock, you can always reach out to me at syrwashere@gmail.com!

Addresses were collected from the backerkit survey. Please make sure your campaign survey has been completed and verify that your card has been charged. There are a few folks who had card errors. Any survey that has not been completed, has a card error, or sent over the VAT difference (UK Backers only) will not be able to recieve their bags until that has been completed

Once bags get to me, I will be working on checking them over and getting packages shipped out! Due to the american holiday next week, this process might get delayed, but I will do my best to get everything shipped out ASAP!

Unofficial Katamari Bag Update:

All cousin fronts are done, production on the main bags are next! Heavy rains had delayed the shipment of bag hardware (zippers, D-rings, etc), but we are still on time for the production schedule. Please look forward to an official post soon!

Exciting Update!

Bags are well into production! The manu started with the fronts first since there was such a big variety and sent over a progress image! As of right now, we are still on track if not slightly ahead of the current production schedule!

In addition, the kickstarter bonus keychains are here already! Just to make things easier logistically, keychain only orders will ship out with the bags!

The manu has the materials prepped and ready, but they are finishing up the order before us! Main production was said to be throughout August!

So when you say, “cards will be charged July 14th,” does that apply only to things added from the backerkit (shipping, any extras ordered from the backerkit)? Because I know kickstarter already charged the pledges.

Hello! Yes, this would only be for the backerkit! You will not be double charged for anything from the kickstarter.

Hello! Backerkit Surveys are now locked, thank you everyone for completing your surveys, cards will be charged July 14th, and addresses will not be locked until roughly October, I will send out a notification for final address updates around then.

In the meantime, I have confirmed the final bag design with the manufacturer and the order has been placed! Some minor revisions were made to the final design including: fixing Ichigo's face so she isn't upside down anymore, adding a small embossing to the back card holder, and shortening the elastic on the inner bag to hold items more securely.

Updates might be slower from here on out and mainly on the kickstarter page, but I look forward to keeping you all updated with progress!
