DID is so funny. Sometimes you’re in a situation and your brain just makes up a new guy, and when you’re like “oh, nice to meet you! Who are you?” then they’re not around anymore and you never see or hear from them again

And then you’re like “huh, weird. Can’t wait for that to happen again soon, with no explanation”

we wanted to try to make an ask game for systems with questions that we don’t typically find on these types of ask games :)

“systems” that claim to have origins other than trauma, please do not interact

1 - How do special interests and hyperfixations effect your system?

2 - Does your system mostly have children, adults, elders, or something else?

3 - Any comfort objects?

4 - Who is the calmest alter in your system, and who is the most energetic?

5 - Do you have any friend/partner systems?

6 - What is your favorite way to show people what an alter looks like? (Picrew, drawings, written descriptions, etc)

7 - Do you have any comfort characters/objects/animals/etc that eventually split into alters in your system?

8 - What is your favorite (healthy) coping mechanism?

9 - What does your system spend most of their time doing everyday?

10 - Do you have a positive, negative, or neutral relationship with your system?

you are valid if

your system has mostly introjects

your system has few or no introjects

your system has lots of amnesia and barriers between alters

your system has no or very little amnesia and barriers

you have a personality or mood disorder on top of being a system

you have lots of alters

you only have a few alters

you experience psychosis or some psychotic disorder

you're heavy in one or more alter roles

you have alters with no roles or who dot know what their roles are

you still live with people who caused you trauma

you're still in relationships with people who hurt you

you struggle with taking care of the body

you have nonhuman alters

you have invisible disabilities

you have physical disabilities

you and your system are valid. no matter your situation or trauma you are valid and we're proud of you for making it this far and doing your best each day. we wholeheartedly wish the best for you all

no one person let alone any system is meant to fit in a box, whether you do or not match up to the "standard" system description youre still valid. youre still loved. youre still amazing.

after everything we've all gone through we all deserve some good things so we like making these posts every now and then to put some positivity in the community.

regardless of what your system looks like youre still entirely valid. dont let anyone ever tell you otherwise.
