New town, same boring job. Go figure.

Lars and his parents had just moved; his dad took his work’s offer to transfer locations, all for a raise. And Lars only came with because… well, he really didn’t have a choice.

The bell to Nockfell’s little local pastry shop rang, causing Lars to huff out a sigh, not bothering much to smile, let alone stand up straight.

“Hey, what’cha here for?” His eyes trailed up to the figure that entered, shifting his head from his hand. “Or, uh, are you just looking around?”
