my friend seraj aburaida and his family need your support. i've been trying to promote his fundraiser for nearly a year, my posts used to get thousands of notes, but they don't get near that amount of attention anymore.

lately, seraj has been having a particularly difficult time securing funds so he can buy necessities for his family of 13 people. they are constantly running out of food. i don't know what else to say. they need clean water and firewood as well. no one has been donating lately. the bombing and famine don't stop. the situation is apocalyptic.

This is my little boy, Qais, only two years old, wounded and in pain. He was hurt while simply playing near our tent — his childhood stolen by a war he never chose. Every day is a fight to keep him alive, to find medicine, food, and clean water in Gaza, where survival feels like a miracle. I’m pleading with you from the bottom of a mother’s breaking heart: help us. Your kindness could mean the difference between life and death for my son.

Three Causes of His Injury and the Danger for Children:

1. Unstable living conditions — Children play among rubble, broken glass, and sharp debris because there is nowhere safe for them.

2. Lack of medical care — Injuries, even small ones, become life-threatening because hospitals are overwhelmed, and medicine is scarce.

3. Constant fear and trauma — Kids like Qais live under constant stress, making them vulnerable to accidents, infections, and slow healing.

These are not just dangers; they are death sentences for Gaza’s children. What should be minor injuries can turn fatal without urgent treatment.

I am an oppressed mother in Gaza, helplessly watching my baby suffer, knowing his wound could kill him if I cannot get proper medical care. His little eye, once full of light, is now bandaged and hurting, and I fear every day that I might lose him. Please — I am begging you with every ounce of love in my heart — don’t ignore this. Help my friend @nourasbasha feed his kids, my heart is breaking when i hear of the hunger his children are experiencing, begging for help crying for someone to listen.

“I swear to you, we are hungry. My kids cry all day saying ‘I’m hungry, I want to eat’ — and I have nothing to give them. Even my baby, not yet a year old, searches for a piece of bread or a spoon of lentils. We’re not asking for milk or vegetables or baby formula… just bread. Just flour to make bread.”

The situation in Gaza is apocalyptic and israel is starving palestinians out on purpose, profitting from the famine to charge palestinians insane prices for food.

These people live through it, please hear them out. Please help them out and don't just look away as palestinians bleed.

Why? Just tell me why!

Why are we condemned to live through all this agony? Why are we thrown into hunger, cold, fear, and slow death?!

I don’t understand why my family and I are being punished this cruelly. Why are our homes, our dignity, our food, our very lives stolen from us?

Everything has been taken from me... even my memories.

I forgot what safety feels like. I forgot the sound of laughter. I forgot what it means to live with basic human rights.

I’m not writing this to complain — I’m writing because the injustice is crushing me until I no longer recognize myself.

Please... don’t just scroll past this.

I’m writing to you with a bleeding heart, with pain that screams louder than words, with eyes that have cried all their tears.

While the world lives in warmth and peace — or at least some kind of normal life — we are being buried alive.
