deltarune begins by discarding the appearance and name you choose, then immediately proceeds to show the protagonist being called the name their mother likely chose for them. at school, they encounter susie, an outcast who's treated as a deadly monster (even by her teacher) despite the fact that she never follows through on her violent threats. kris and susie are then forced by their teacher to go into the closet, a dark place whose residents are oppressed by wider society. there, they meet ralsei, who initially covers his entire face and body with a cloak and tells them with an air of resignation that he's been waiting his entire life to meet them so he can fulfill the role of the prince of darkness that's been forced upon him. it's difficult to read it as anything other than a transfem allegory, and I struggle to imagine the kind of cognitive dissonance it would require to understand it as anything else

That definitely feels like bias from people who only speak/post in English and therefore tumblr only serves them posts in English, and they’ve decided their experiences are universal

whenever people are like “oh you think gazan using tumblr? realy?” as way to try and question legitimacy of fundraiser i feel insane because i swear this app popular amongst arab. like when i first join as much younger teenager/preteen and was in big fandom space like half of my mutual would be living in middle east and post in arabic. the lebanese and gulf arab girl have been carrying aesthetic photo blog on there back for year now. i swear i run into egyptian every 2.5 second on this website. i don’t think it unrealistic at all that a decent amount of people from gaza would be on tumblr or know of it as place they could join for fundraising purpose

It’s interesting how diseases rip through schools at incredible speeds despite being in an arguably modern, clean(ish) environment. I wonder if it has something to do with the whole “you need a doctor’s note to excuse your absence of even one day” combined with the average price of going to a doctor, the lack of education on things like “you’re still contagious even after the fever goes away”, and the overwhelming message of “if you don’t struggle through it, you’re a failure!”

Adriana Smith was declared brain dead and still FORCED to stay in a literal decaying state because of strict anti-abortion laws in Georgia (they had her on VENTILATORS). This is a HORRIFYING and dystopic precedent to make. This woman should have been able to rest, but instead, her body was USED to eventually cut out a barely over 1 lbs near fetus. And then, after this was 'done' to her by a violent state, Adriana was DISPOSED of after they cut her open. They did this without her consent and even went against her family's wishes. And now they're showing a picture of Adriana in a blue dress from her FIRST pregnancy trying to confuse people. She was withering away, and this fuckng sick country used her as an incubator. What a shithole of a state. I can not imagine what this is going to do in the future for women and folks with uteri. Biggest fuck you to red states in the US.
