⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: I am re-reading this series because 1) Nona the Ninth was coming out and 2) I did NOT understand this series at all!! Then @crofteereader said it was easier to understand if I listened to the audiobooks for Gideon and Harrow, so I took it one step further. I read and listened to the book and audiobook at the same time for both books, and it helped immensely. When I finished Harrow, I was still like ummmmm what???!!! but I was also like WTF???!!!! What is going to happen next??!! That’s it….that’s all I can say about this book. If I ever tried to explain or say how I feel about Harrow the Ninth, it would just be confusing and weird….just read the series…. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cl4VQGJvokv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: This book was a legit shot of serotonin and needed when you’ve had a rough day at work. I understand why everyone compares it to The House in the Cerulean Sea, because that’s exactly how I felt when I read that book. Now, I love romance and there is some romance, BUT it’s not the main plot which I was totally fine with. I loved how Mika was shown though the love of the people of Nowhere House, especially the children, that she mattered and could be loved. Also, the twist at the end, I kinda saw coming, but the other twist (sorry can’t say too much haha) I definitely did NOT see coming! (Also, yes, this picture has spiderwebs but I wrote my review late; sue me!) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClrahakPTIv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Now, it did take me a long time to finish this book, BUT it’s not because I didn’t enjoy it. It’s the joys of being a mood reader and not wanting a book to end so I waited a couple of months before I finished it haha. Ledge was a lot darker and sadder then I thought it would be but it didn’t take away anything from the book or diminish the high stakes romance in this book. I loved how the main couple came together while also dealing with the cold, snow, and being chased. A very big thing I loved though was the side characters you meet like Roan’s amazing friends! Also, what I thought was the ending of this book was NOT the ending and the ACTUAL ending left me in shock…please read this book so you understand what I’m talking about!!! *Thank you to @angryrobot for my advanced copy. All opinions are my own.* https://www.instagram.com/p/Clo1jZlvPGd/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Morgan and Harriet are my favorite couple out of this series. They’re chemistry was off the wall and I loved all the witty banter they had with each other. Also, I loved all the dares they used enable to get closer to each other and how Morgan didn’t want to shelter Harriet. He knew she would want to travel the world and didn’t stop her from her dreams. https://www.instagram.com/p/ClhCnRHPgtx/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: I really didn’t know what was going to happen in The Princess Trap, but the drama and hurt that was involved in this book took me by surprise. I loved both of the main characters and how they were trying to figure out each other with the media and the royal family surrounding them. Also, I loved how they were there for each other through difficult times especially with everything that was happening towards the end of the book. Cherry and Ruben found each other at the right time and were the perfect people to show each other that they mattered, no matter what anyone else said, and could get through everything together. https://www.instagram.com/p/ClHhyauP_0l/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: When the Stars Go Dark was the perfect criminal procedure book to read this October. It had mystery, action, and surprise. It also talked a lot about grief and how each person deals with it in healthy and unhealthy ways. I have to say I liked the side characters the most in this book since they helped Anna, the main character, so much with her grief, blame, and how to move on with her life. https://www.instagram.com/p/ClB_yjsrxP-/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Okay, all I can say about this book is that it was freaking bananas!!!! and it was so good!!! Pretty much all through this book I didn’t know what was going on, but once things started going down in the end, you were like WHAT??!!!…..WHAT??!! I had to talk it through with @crofteereader just to make sure I understood it correctly. It was the perfect book for spooky season though and recommend everyone listen to the audiobook because the narrator made it super creepy in some parts and it was awesome! https://www.instagram.com/p/Ck88qy0vKv2/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: A Daring Pursuit was so cute and funny that I read it in all in one day, which I haven’t done in forever!! I know I should have been reading spooky books last month, but I just got the ARC of the third book and that made me want to read this book even more. Cary was so wild, adventurous, and just doing her own thing that that it made me love her so much as an MC. And of course, Tristan was so caring, protective, and funny that their relationship was so much fun to read about! I can’t wait to read about Morgan and Harriet in the next book. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ckdvk1vrZHW/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Dangerous Intent is what we needed when it comes to mysteries that have many books and plot lines in the series. It went into white supremacy, LGBTQIA+ issues, and found family. We have the same characters from all the rest of the books, but it was different in terms of how the authors went into the real life issues that the LGBTQIA+ community faces when it comes to the support and the hatred they receive. But also it shows, even in this day in age, white supremacy is still a huge issue and should be handled as a bigger problem then it is. For the ending, I did see it coming, BUT I also didn’t know the turn it would take right near the end of the climax. It shocked me and actually made me love the book even more. I definitely recommend this book and can’t wait to see what happens in the next book! https://www.instagram.com/p/CkOpAA4vOpt/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: The House in the Cerulean Sea was just the kind of book I needed after a tough day at work. It was so sweet and wholesome and every character you met at Marsyas Island Orphanage were so adorable! I usually don’t like super slow burn romance, but Arthur and Linus relationship with each other and the children was just so cute and fun to read about, that it didn’t lessen the joy from my reading experience. I recommend this to anyone who is having a really bad day and just needs some serotonin in their life. https://www.instagram.com/p/CkJXSkQrEc3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: I haven’t read a lot of V.E. Schwab books, so I didn’t know what to expect from a YA book from her, but it was the perfect book to start off spooky season! It had ghouls, secrets, and so much paranormal activity going on, that I really didn’t know what was going on until halfway through the book. It had a lot of twists and turns, and every character you met added even more mystery into this book. I have to say I loved the way this book ended and can’t wait to see what other YA books Schwab writes. https://www.instagram.com/p/CjlYEVxL_Ng/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Hook, Line, and Sinker was a fantastic sequel to It Happened One Summer! I loved the relationship between Fox and Hannah in the first book, so I loved diving into their romance in this book. You learn Fox is actually more self conscious and hurt by his reputation then he looks and cares so much about Hannah that he doesn't want it to harm her. For Hannah though, she is more mad that people talk to him and about him that way and that he is NOT what his reputation says he is. I love how they support each other through their everyday problems and are there for each other for whatever they need. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cjill14LFtq/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: I am so totally in love with Simone St. James books!! After reading The Sun Down Motel, I knew I had to read this book immediately after. She does the right amount of crime, mystery and paranormal. Some authors either do too much paranormal or not enough and it just doesn’t make me like the book as much. I love how St. James has a paranormal theme throughout the book and never tries to say “Oh sike, it’s not ghosts, it was an actual human being doing that!” She stays true to the whole, yes, this is a mystery, and yes, actual ghosts did all these things; just deal with it, when it comes to the main characters in her books experiencing the paranormal activity. She has definitely become an auto buy author for me! https://www.instagram.com/p/CiNqxJprPmp/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Don’t be fooled by how long it took me to finish this book. I loved Fevered Star! Even though I didn’t love it as much as Black Sun, I still really enjoyed it. I loved the action, surprises, and how different characters from different POVs got to meet each other. The ending was NOT how I saw it concluding, especially with Xiala’s POV, but I can’t wait until the next book to see where the journey will pick up from https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch7ttmqrl0b/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
