i think i need to see how kizana's story weeks turn out to truly see the quality of yandev's writing, bc maybe??? amai's senpai events being like that was just a fluke and rushed bc he's in like, crisis mode or whatever and the dev is scrambling to put something together after his entire team basically left him

at least with kizana, we'll be able to see:

-how he handles her character development

-how he'll write taro interacting with someone with an "unlikeable" personality

-whether he'll incorporate any further lore

and depending on how well it's written, i think will predict the future writing quality of the game. the one thing people are sticking around for atp is the promised story and characters we have yet to receive, and if your current stock sucks, can we really trust him to deliver a promising product after everyone in his own corner left?
