After reviewing over 1,000 charts, I have found some good setups for the week. These were selected and should be viewed in the context of the broad Market Macro picture reviewed Friday which with the first week of July in the books, saw equity markets showing strength from the large cap and tech focused S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, but continued churn from the small caps.

Elsewhere look for Gold to continue its consolidation in the uptrend while Crude Oil consolidates in a tightening range. The US Dollar Index continues to drift to the downside in consolidation while US Treasuries move lower in their downtrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the short term move lower while Emerging Markets remain in broad consolidation.

The Volatility Index looks to remain very low and stable making the path easier for equity markets to the upside. The charts of the SPY and QQQ look strong, especially on the longer timeframe. On the shorter timeframe both the QQQ and SPY have reset momentum measures and both are also looking strong upon reversing. The IWM continues to be dead money, going on 30 months now. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.

Nick in CA wants to take an alternate approach to trans rights and ask the politicians why they care since trans is such a small part of the population. The primary issue is people being able to pick and choose who they discriminate against. The arguments we hear now are the same as they were when the hate was for same sex marriage. When people’s genitals seem to be at the top of the agenda, how can we get a transphobe not to care? Talk to some of the trans people that host with us and ask them what the most important and effective way to tackle the problem.   Hank in TX has scientific evidence that points toward a god. The first thing is how pleasant near death experiences are. How do we know these experiences happen right at the time of death? It makes sense that when the brain lets go, the loss of consciousness would be chill and not scary. His second piece of evidence is that things are going well, and his consciousness was not put in a body 200 years ago. What about the people who were born back then? How about the people born into bodies in war torn countries? Consciousness is an emerging property of the brain. What is your proof that it is transported anywhere? Even if we did have multiple lives over hundreds of years, it does not mean that there is a god doing it. The third piece is there must be a god guiding the response of people like Ghandi and Martin Luther King, and the response goes against nature. Why don’t we see this behavior in your god? Dave in TX does not believe that hell where souls burn eternally exists. Is the Bible literally true or is it figurative?The god of the Bible is a monster. Where do we draw the line with interpretations? How is the resurrection of Jesus not contradictory when there are four different stories? Cover to cover, the Bible is pro-slavery, pro-genocide, pro-misogyny, is full of contradictions, and looks nothing like a god inspired book should look. What good can we get out of the Bible without the baggage of this evil god?

I truly can't get over the problem of evil, when we're talking a tri-omni deity like the christian god

I honestly think that the holocaust is strong evidence against a personal god

Never mind all the suffering, especially that of children

If your god can't think of a plan that doesn't include children suffering and dying horrible deaths, is it worth worshipping?

Free will doesn't apply either. A personal god (esp. christian) is said to make every soul, to know everything in advance. Just prevent people from being born? And it doesn't account for severe birth defects or natural disasters either

4 Trade Ideas for American Express: Bonus Idea

American Express, $AXP, comes into the week after printing a hammer candle Friday following the pullback to touch the 200 day SMA. It was the first touch at the 200 day SMA since November 2023. The drop Friday filled the gap from November 2024 and leaves one open above to 293.11. The RSI is dipping into oversold territory with the MACD negative and falling. Hammer candles signify indecision and are often reversal candles under these circumstances but need to be confirmed with a higher close Monday. There is resistance at 276.25 and 282 then 286 and 292.50 before 300 and 307. Support lower is at 268.50. Short interest is low at 1.2%.

The stock pays a dividend with an annual yield of 1.2% and will trade ex-dividend on April 4th. The company is expected to report earnings next on April 17th. The March options chain shows the biggest open interest at the 250 strike on the put side. On the call side it is biggest at 280 and 290. In the April chain, covering the earnings report, open interest is spread from 310 to 240 on the put side, biggest at 300, 280 and 260. On the call side it builds from 280 to a peak at 320 then fades to 350. Finally, in the May chain, open interest is light on the put side and biggest at 320 on the call side.

Trade Idea 1: Buy the stock on a close over 276.50 with a stop at 268.50.

Trade Idea 2: Buy the stock on a close over 276.50 and add an April 270/260 Put Spread ($4.30) while selling the May 310 Call ($3.40).

Trade Idea 3: Buy the March/April 280 Call Calendar ($5.40) while selling the April 250 Put ($4.45).

Trade Idea 4: Buy the May 250/280/300 Call Spread Risk Reversal ($1.00).

Elsewhere look for Gold to continue its consolidation just under all-time highs while Crude Oil drops in consolidation. The US Dollar Index continues to move to the downside while US Treasuries consolidate in their downtrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the consolidation while Emerging Markets consolidate in a broad messy chop.

The Volatility Index looks to rise, making the path easier for equity markets to the downside. The charts of the SPY and QQQ continue to look strong on the longer timeframe. On the shorter timeframe both the QQQ and SPY are weak and vulnerable for more downside. This could shift the long term look over the next few weeks. The IWM looks weak on both timeframes, leading to the downside. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.

SCP-ADR vs SCP-AXP

It all started after the containment breach of Site-AN. Blade Head and his loyal followers within the Children of the Scarlet King raided the Site to steal SCP-ABA and released several SCPs as a result. Two of which that proved to be the worst was SCP-ADR and SCP-AXP. Both were extremely powerful and extremely dangerous anomalous pathogens that even Foundation medicine was not fully able to cure. Worst off the Children of the Scarlet King knew this and spread both around as much as possible so no one would have the time to stop them. Though even after they long left the two plagues are fighting for biological dominance within the Site-AN.

An instance of SCP-AXP was heading towards the one of the main server rooms of the Site. It had already gotten its hands on one of the Foundation Computer Screen Pads, but it was suddenly locked out before it could eat more delicious data. It needed more, it wanted more, there was no way it would be satisfied with just that. As such it continued to wander as its host body glitched a little bit; if it could, it would be drooling for more data.

"Please help!" The host body raised its head so that the parasite could hear better, it swore it heard some prey crying out.

"Please! Is anyone out there!" It wasn't data but it was the next best thing, more hosts to convert. The hosts roared as the parasite gave orders to rush towards the source of the noise. It finally found the source down a hall within one of the rooms where the door was open the host rushed in but as it did the only thing there was several AFA's and a hologram of three triangles.

"Now!" The AFA's started raised their rifles and started shooting at the parasite killing it before it could glitch out of there. It quickly fell to the ground as it had died instantly as a result.

"Anomalous life signature has ceased. kill is confirmed. I have already confirmed that all other anomalous hostiles on this floor have been killed or put back in containment. As such the safety of the remaining Foundation staff has been secured. Good work everyone." The two AFA-2's bowed to the AI on the hologram display while the AFA-1 with them didn't do anything as it wasn't programed to understand gratitude.

"Hm, well then, all that's left is to hope the remaining anomalies kill each other, or that Epsilon-11 will get there fast enough to stop them." The AI known as Trinity said as it went back into the Foundation network to check on the status of the lower floors where the situation was much worse.

A large blob of SCP-ADR-2-3 was forming in one of the dining halls with SCP-ADR-2-1 and SCP-ADR-2-2 instances all wandering around it. They were gathering bodies to feed the SCP-ADR-2-3 instance while taking small bites for themselves. However, one of them was suddenly flung to the other side of the room. The culprit revealed themselves to be a host of SCP-AXP it roared while showing off its mutated body. Its right arm was metal like while its left arm and head were muscular, mutated, and misshaped filled with different characteristics of animals.

All the SCP-ADR-2 mutants roared back without fear and tried to rush the SCP-AXP host. Not knowing this was part of the plan. Suddenly, from another hallway, another SCP-AXP host showed up and another and another; soon they started flooding in from all directions.

One SCP-AXP host had a Canon PowerShot ELPH 360 HS for a head, was wearing a white shirt, with blue tie, brown belt, and black pants. He ambushed one of the SCP-ADR-2 mutants though surprisingly he killed them not savagely but by slitting their throat. The host managed to do this my manifesting a hidden blade form under neither their wrist within their skin. Other SCP-ADR-2 mutants tried to rush him, but he used his glitch to teleport around them and used martial arts as well as his hidden blade to take them all down surprisingly effectively. Meanwhile a serpentine like SCP-AXP instance slithered around crushing SCP-ADR-2 instances with its large tail. It had speakers attacked to its chest with iron chains growing out of its back. It was using the chains to whip at the mutants while using the speakers to blast frequencies that irritated the SCP-ADR virus badly hurting the mutants.

There was also an SCP-AXP host that had its arms and legs replaced with springs meanwhile its hands and feet were replaced with mental claws and talons. A SCP-AXP instance with a clown face and bat wings that was telling bad jokes as it tore through and ate the flesh of SCP-ADR-2 mutants. There was even one with several different models of strobe lights fused together to make her head while her arms were replaced with spider arms.

"Interesting" Trinity was still watching everything form the security cameras from around the Foundation Site.

"The parasites are able to fuse the body with the whatever they absorb form data. It seems there's no limits to how they can modify the body depending on the data they absorb. If left to have unlimited access to the internet one could possibly become a Level 3 Reality bender, perhaps even Level 4. Hm, speaking of which, if they managed to absorb this much data... I should probably get with the other A.I. to scrub any affected technology from any Cognito hazards created by the parasites."

The SCP-ADR-2-3 blob that was acting as the current hive mind was watching as the SCP-ADR-2 mutants were getting slaughtered. However, its attention was taken by two SCP-AXP that were currently attacking it. One was had screwdrivers for fingers and a flashlight replacing the left eye. The other had circular saws out of its extremely muscular arms, using them to saw through the SCP-ADR-2-3's mass. It simply created a thick tentacle of flesh and whipped them both away. Now was the time to stop holding back, it started opening up to show it was secretly creating an SCP-ADR-2-4 instance. It quickly unleashed the SCP-ADR-2-4 instance as a form of reinforcements.

However almost immediately upon hatching it ran out only to get electrocuted by another SCP-AXP host. This one had a PRUNUS J120 Retro Vintage Radio for a head and had spider legs growing out of his back which he was using to levitate himself up. On his arms were crystals each glowing a different color. The injured SCP-ADR-2-4 weakly got up and growled in anger only for it to be forced back on the ground by a sudden blast of gravity. The SCP-AXP host then walked forward and ripped apart any SCP-ADR-2 instance that tried to kill it.

It was determined to kill the SCP-ADR-2-3 instance, and it had proven that it had more than enough strength to get the job done. However, upon getting close enough the SCP-ADR-2-3 instance stabbed a tentacle into its stomach. The infection quickly devoured the SPC-AXP host without giving it a single second to resist. Now that it had the SCP-AXP's DNA it grew hands with the same glowing-colored crystals on the arms of each. It started using the SCP-AXP's powers to rip apart all the SCP-AXP's hosts killing them in a matter of seconds.

"Remarkable!" Trinity had come back after purging all the Cognito infection hazards, just in time to witness the slaughter. Once all the SCP-AXP hosts were killed the SCP-ADR-2 instances started eating them and throwing what was left into the SCP-ADR-2-3 mass. As it was absorbing more mass it started condensing himself into a small mass. The end result was a small boy, that was completely black to the point that he was absorbing all color around him like a black hole. His silhouette implied he was wearing clothes but again due to how dark his whole being was it was impossible to tell.

Trinity was unable to understand how to take this, though to make things even stranger a girl in pure white suddenly showed up form one of the halls and walked towards the dark boy. The both of them looked at one another and suddenly opened their eyes to show a crimson glow. Trinity was shocked as it knew exactly who that was, it was the girl form that horrible experiment at Site-AO. But that should be impossible because Site-AO was at the Atlantic Ocean, and they were in Site-AN at the bottom of the Mariana trench within the Pacific Ocean.

"ExCeLlEnT, i'M sUrE sHe'D bE pLeAsEd WiTh ThEsE rEsUlTs." Suddenly a man showed up and kneeled down and placed a hand on the shoulder of each child. His head was made entirely of computer glitches, nonsensical binary codes, and all sorts of distortion. Then Trinity realized who it was, it was The Distortion, the young God of Chaos and one of the Black Kings of the Black Queen's Insurgency. The Children of the Scarlet King causing this much chaos was bad enough but for the Black Queen's Insurgency, which were arguably stronger to get involved was the worst-case scenario. Unfortunately, the Distortion looked at the camera Trinity was watching form, raised his hand to it and flicked at it.

Suddenly Trinity was sent back into the main servers and into a cafe that one of the laxer A.I.s made to help them all relax. Now Trinity was a floating icon at one of the tables, right across form the A.I. acting as a Cafe Attendant looked at him in confusion.

"Trinity?! But you never stop working, why-?" Suddenly the distortion showed up in there making them both gasp in shock.

"I could just kill you, I could also delete your memories, but you know what, letting you know is more fun. The SCP Foundation always loves dealing with the impossible so who knows maybe you'll actually fix it this time, or maybe you'll all just die. Who knows, who cares! See ya!" Just then the distortion disappeared, leaving both Trinity and the Cafe Attendant in shock.

The resulting fight between SCP-ADR and SCP-AXP ended in the creation of an entirely new anomaly which was quite similar to the anomaly created during the X-15: SCP-ABE experiment. Furthermore, the same entity forms the experiment appeared and right after so did Entity of Interest: The Distortion. Unfortunately, afterwards all three entities disappeared so it is assumed that they are now in the custody of the Black Queen's Insurgency. What this means for any of us is unknown. All we can do is wait and see.
