lan looked at moiraine. now that their bond was healed, he felt.. almost whole. was it his heart break that he felt? or moiraines? or was it both of theirs? ❝do you think we'll ever see her again?❞ he did not want to say her name, because he was sure it would hurt moiraine. siuan probably did the right thing, or what she believed to be the right thing, just in a terribly wrong way. he obeyed her as the seat, but he could see the pain in moiraine's eyes, and that made it hard to honor her as such. but he could have also been talking about the wisdom, nynaeve. his heart had broken too, but it was a choice both made. she to become an aes sedai and he because he was moiraine's warder, and no matter what he felt for nynaeve, he could not live if that bond was broken.

❝remember, no matter what happens, i am not going anywhere❞ lan stated firmly. he knew her first instinct was to push him away, but he'd stand his ground firmly.
