             SUPERMARKETS   WERE   SENSORY   OVERLOAD   FOR   KALINDA  .        with  all  its  bright  lights  ,     bold  signs  and  colours  ,  smells  from  the  bakery  ,     then  there  was  the  sheer  SIZE  of  the  establishment  ,     not  to  mention  the  cacophony  of  various  noises  from  the  customers  to  music  to  service  announcements  and  the  warning  sound  that  preceded them  over  the  speakers  .        a  far  cry  from  the  humble  markets  back  home  certainly  ,     but  kalinda  adored  the  trips  and  taking  in  these  seemingly  mundane  locations  to  an  average  mortal  with  a  sense  of  childlike  wonder  .        it  also  helped  that  she  had  come  here  with  mitch  in  order  to  aid  a  mission  to  source  extra  props  for  one  of  his  films  ,     giving  her  a  sense  of  duty  which  filled  her  with  excitement  as  they  strolled  about  ,     comfortable  chit  chat  flowing  between  the  pair  for  the  most  part   (  almost  comically  with  kali  leading  them  due  to  her  neverending  supply  of  energy  ,     but  with  little  knowledge  of  the  layout  or  items  to  look  for  ,     causing  mitch  to  call out  directions  )   but  then  mitch  would trail  off  slowly  ,    but  surely  ,    to  capture  a  shot  that  could  work  as  b - roll  in  the  bts  video  ,     which  kali  observed  curiously  as  was  her  nature  .

        question  blooms  beneath  a  crown  of  curls  and  steps  slow  with  intent  as  she  now  walks  in  time  with  the  mortal  ,     head  resting  against  his  arm  naturally  casually  as  she  peers  at  the befuddling  nature  of  the  cameras  screen ,     lips  pursing  for  but  a  moment  before  pushing  onward  with  her  inquiry  .            ❛   how  do  you  decide  what  to CAPTURE  and  what  to  LEAVE   ?        do  things  have  to  meet  a  criteria  to  be   van  steen  approved  or  is  it  just  . . .     something  you  feel  when  it’s  right   ?   ❜
