the other day in italian we got onto the topic of reading / learning words and one of my friends asked how i do it and i was like well not in a sensible way don't emulate me. it takes 3-4 years of listening to a shitload of italian (movies/music) and also spanish is helpful. so. which brought us to could you read an entire book. and well. i was like yeah i read picture books (thinking about diabolik). like comics. and he's like oh which ones?? and this brings us to him asking our italian teacher if she's heard of diabolik but pronouncing it a la danger diabolik 1968, which makes her go well yeah but that's not how it's pronounced, and then this ends up with me explaining the various diabolik movies, and none of this is really important but it does culminate in today during our conditional tense practice me saying con cinque milioni di euro studierei per diventare regista, and her going yeah you could make another diabolik movie (i am also wearing my diabolik shirt). and you know what. i COULD

kinda sad the diabolik movies are ending after diabolik chi sei, both because i love them and also because that means no eva kant backstory in film canon unless they somehow work it into diabolik chi sei. therefore i propose, to solve this problem, eva kant spinoff movie for eva kant quando diabolik non c'era. thank you

#will have to email the manetti bros #IDEAL. no diabolik at all. its just present day eva encountering something that links back to her Tragic Backstory and the story is told as #a combination of past/present lines. if diabolik must show up at all it's one (1) time and it's either a) he just sits there like you need #a hand with any of this? no this is something you have to do alone? ok call me when youre done amore ive got a heist to keep me busy anyway #OR he shows up and immediately gets injured again. dunked in the ocean. whatever #OR if he must be involved with the films plot it can be like the tu hai i tuoi secreti come io ho i miei bit. he must not in any way be #instrumental to the plot because then it would be a 4th diabolik movie. and the essential thing here is that it is about eva kant #i mean. to what extent is he even important in his own movies #ANYWAY. what brings this all on is i am thinking about Her again #neon has thoughts #diabolik #i dont want to see him in the poster or the trailer for this movie i made up. cameo appearance only #funnier if it's luca marinelli. even funnier if it's BOTH marinelli and gianniotti playing the same role just in different scenes #EVEN funnier if marinelli plays a DIFFERENT character. anyway

In the comics Eva does kill, not as often or brutality as D but still. Don’t remember 100% but it was something like having the panther (or some other toothy beast) which Lord Kant had indented to kill Eva turning on him, and Eva not helping or something such. Will check to double check in the remake.

Also, Lord Kant was actually Eva’s uncle. She married him as revenge and to legally have the name of Kant as she is the illegitimate daughter of the original Lord Kant (who her uncle/husband killed I think) after her mother was driven to suicide. So she totally had reasons to kill him, even if she may or may not have. So much drama!

AND she revealed to Lord Kant’s that she is his on the wedding night and told him never to touch her, like what happened with Giorgio in the movie.

firstly, this is all perfect for my purposes, thank you

secondly, another panther??? bc if that's true the implications... the parallels... i should not think about this for too long i think

thirdly that is SO much more drama than i was expecting but good for her tbh. get him eva

i know they're planning diabolik 2 and 3 and maybe they will go into it then but if not. spinoff eva kant backstory movie please please please

#neon has thoughts #i was messing around on amazon.it for reasons and i think there might be a comic thats just eva. (not sure). but if there is please #her backstory was vaguely alluded to..... you could make a movie out of it.... and i would like to see it #eva kant
