     silence followed as the goddess contemplated the she-fox's comment. silken tiers curled into a slight smile, a huff of a laugh escaping as they did. the all-seeing iridescent gaze turned skyward, observing the bright stars.

     eerily bright eyes turned toward her companion, curiosity stirring behind the piercing gaze. the question remained unasked as a delicate hand reached out, grasping silken flesh to tug the other closer. twinned flesh twisted into a slight pout as the cosmic being demanded an answer without uttering a word.
