//i thought it’d be good to list the verses hallkel had!! so far i have a few, but i’ll list them all and try to keep it a bit brief!! BE WARNED: THE POST WILL HAVE SOME SPOILER MENTIONS FOR DOOM ETERNAL: THE ANCIENT GODS PART 2 IN THE ‘RECLAMATION VERSE’ SECTION!!!

MAIN VERSE: TORTURED CRUSADER

takes place after the events of the betrayal in nekravol

takes place in the doom universe too

but could also be used with mutuals that i’ve rped with on my old hallkel blog if it’s a crossover!

hallkel is a wandering night sentinel elite, having literally FOUGHT his way out of hell to get back to argent d’nur

he’s probably one of like, the few surviving sentinels from the novik era

dealt with a bit of dimension-travel because of the portals, and had to basically fight with them to make his way back home

he stays far away from actual civilization as he could, because they are (most likely) maykr-aligned, and hasn’t met other sentinels much that weren’t aligned with the maykrs

he comes off as more exhausted and prefers to not heal any wounds of his that he may have received, from demons or maykrs or other sentinels alike.

he tends to come off as more weary and exhausted, and sometimes gets a bit more frustrated compared to his other verses, but still, no matter what: he tries to give off a smile

has a habit on writing down a lot of notes about other cultures in a journal he kept from his early sentinel days. which reminds me....

PAST VERSE: EARLY SENTINELS

takes place when the night sentinels were still a thing, and most of civilization was still, you know, intact

hallkel’s a funky lil sentinel man still! and he’s a nobleman!!!

around this time the slayer’s come around and is a Big Thing

hallkel is the slayer’s translator (dubbed a ‘voice weaver’)!

(ofc, won’t force that sort of thing with muns, don’t like forcing, feel free to let me know if you arent a fan of that!! i’d be happy to change it for a thread)

most definitely doesnt know the slayer personally, but tries to translate his english into argentan, and to help him learn argentan

he also tries to learn about the slayer’s culture! at least, the best he can

he also tries to help with JOLLY COOPERATION!!! consider him.... the doom solaire. the doomaire, if you will...

DOOM ETERNAL T.A.G. VERSE: RECLAMATION

basically set after doom eternal!!!

he’s gotten home, and he’s focused on clearing out demons from argent d’nur!

gonna rip and tear those lil bastards

he’s also on a quest to try to reach the world spear! hoping to find the slayer again

he’s hoping that argent d’nur could be returned to its former glory, somehow, and wants to clear out the demons

and also go on a crusade against hell. he will personally want to fight davoth even though he WOULD LITERALLY die to the fucking dark lord

hes just an angry lil sentinel man

GENERAL CROSSOVER: RESPITE

meant for crossovers with muses from other worlds!!

it’s set in a time in the middle of his tortured crusader verse, but at a time where he hadn’t return to argent d’nur yet

he’s basically dimension-hopping! and just trying to get home!!!

with hallkel having gone through hell and struggled to reach home, he uh

kinda caused some fucking problems with the maykrs during his dimension hopping to get home, and found himself on urdak.

the maykrs are kinda there like “oh shit a novik-era sentinel?? who is REALLY hating hell like the slayer is? it’s free real estate”

they use hallkel to try to figure out more abt argentan anatomy and how similar it is to humans, and basically fucking. reform him to be some kind of biblically accurate sentinel angel

he’s literally in agony

but says “FUCK IT” because now he might throw hands w god

he still kinda acts like his old self too!! kind of.

he’s in so much fucking pain but gives 0 fucks. he’s still cheery. still wants to learn. he just finds it hard to speak bc he’s not coordinated very well
