Heya! Honestly, the concept of Kanade as a fan has always been so peculiar to me, because she's such a curious and excitable creature (affectionate) but she's still so soft and chill...

Firstly, Kanade has been around the music world for a while, so she's kept tabs on a lot of rising composers and musicians that she notices have natural talent, no matter how succesful or popular they are, or aren't.

So when she notices you, a new musician that managed to earn a pretty decent following without breaking a sweat, she joins the following in secret! After all, her internet persona does gather attention itself, so she has to be careful about this sort of stuff.

She learns from you, and even starts to note down some of the ideas you have! It's always lovely to learn about how other talented composers think, and how they work! The influence from your work becomes clearer with each new song...

She even chats about you with the people she's close with, including, ironically, you! Even though she's mostly low-key whenever she's chatting, the topic of music always sparks a special feeling inside her!

"Um, I know that I speak about various artists, and many of them share some traits, but... I'm not sure why they feel so special to me. I've been thinking about it all day, but I can't put my finger on it..."

While she is good at analyzing voices, she never makes the connection between yours and the incognito singer, simply because when she enjoys her time with you, she doesn't spend it focused on things like that. She's usually just relaxed...

She talks about your singer persona and friend one with the rest of Niigo, who enjoy seeing the normally relaxed Kanade showing how she enjoys something so much! Who knew she could show such passion with her airy voice...

One day, she invites you to check out some demos! Since you also loved music, you had offered to help her out with her own endeavors, secretly learning things for your own pieces along the line!

You couldn't help but be proud and hide your smirks every time you recognized another one of your styles embedded in her new song, which was slowly becoming something pretty frequent...

However, the sudden increase in frequency of these small details makes you slip up, accidentally referring to the style as yours, which passes unnoticed... For just a fateful moment.

"... Wait, your... Huh?... Hold on, your voice, it's so... Melodical... Almost as if I've heard it before... In a familiar tune... H-hold on, there's no way... Right? Um... I'm not i-imagining this, right?"

Once the hint is thrown, Kanade comes to the conclusion shockingly fast, as she notices the familiarity of your voice, especially with how much she listens to your music, and her sharp ear.

She spends the next few moments absolutely shocked and trying to come to grips with it, the next geeking out and rambling about how she would have never noticed if you didn't slip up, and about how much she loves your songs... As if she hadn't made it so blatantly obvious before...

You thought she was bashful and cute whenever she rambled? Well now she does it more energetically, and shows even more embarrassment afterwards. After all, she borrowed your styles so many times...

You can't help but chuckle and constantly remind her that it's alright, that you don't mind, that you felt really proud that such an expert composer like her constantly used your little songs as reference!

The next Niigo call she's in, she literally cannot stop rambling about her dearest is the famous singer in incognito, all the while you accompany her, and your laughter is caught by her mic...

Mafuyu has a tough time receiving affection of any kind. Her receptive senses have been dulled out so badly, that she hardly ever reacts to any small actions, and even some not as small ones. However, to say that she never reacts to anything would be a cruel understatement...

When you first hug her, the thing that mostly comes to her mind is confusion. Isn't hugging something you do when seeing your beloved other after a while? Or, before you leave? Or when you're feeling down? She doesn't really know how to react, and as a result it can be a bit awkward...

You always feel warm, although it may be because she's always cold. She steals your warmth without even realizing it, and sometimes she thinks that maybe this is the reason why you hug her? No, that wouldn't make much sense.

She then starts to ask for hugs from time to time, and to ask that you keep them as she tries to analyze what she's feeling whenever she feels your warm arms wrapping around her!

"Yeah, I'd like it again. I'm glad you don't mind doing it for me so many times. If it were Ena, she'd be complaining by now. But, I need to feel this. It's strange, peculiar. I've never felt quite like this before..."

It does feel a little cold whenever she doesn't hug back and simply stares down, and when she replies with a cold thanks when you let go, but you can see the gears turning inside her head whenever you do embrace her!

You eventually have to ask her, and she reveals that it's because she doesn't know how to comprehend and process feelings, and your hugs always bring her the same sort of sensation in her chest!

A sensation of lightness, as if an invisible weight vanishes, and she's suddenly sitting on clouds... As if there was a clog inside her that prevented her from breathing clearly, and she can now take in fresh, relaxing breaths...

Soon enough, you stop hugging her because of whatever, but instead to help her defrost her cold heart and allow this warmth to awaken a sense of happiness inside her! As any good partner should do for Mafuyu.

Ask her constantly, how does she feel? What does she feel inside her chest? Does her heart feel calm? Does she feel herself wanting these hugs? Does she feel like returning them would make her feel better?

At first, she'll definitely say I don't know a lot, but trust me, as she uses your questions to analyze herself more, she starts to realize how much she needs and seeks your comfort! And that's when it clicks!

"Com... Fort? Ah, I think I've heard of it. A way of helping your partner feel at ease and give them a sense of belonging by simple acts... I never would've expected it to work so well. It... Doesn't for everyone? Is that why it's for partners...? Hm. I think I'm starting to get it."

The first time you get to see her true smile after hugging her is quite a monumental achievement! Not only because you're actually managing to make her happy through hugs, but also because she knows why she's happy!

Eventually you also teach her how to hug back! She's pretty awkward at first, stiff and trying to imitate the ones she watches. She finds it a bit hard to simply relax when she does them...

It takes even more time for her to finally relax whenever she returns your affection, but when she does she starts to smile more often! You also have to make sure to praise her and keep up the questions, although less than before!

All in all, it may be tough at first to deal with Mafuyu's coldness to your touch. But if you power through, and if her feelings for you are true, it's a golden opportunity to bring light to her darkened heart!

Oof, now this is extremely tough, for both Mizuki. Their entire secret revolves around keeping a secret that they fear would ruin their friendships, so them suddenly gaining feelings for someone? Yeah...

At first Mizuki tries to deny their own feelings. You are just their friend, nothing else! They shouldn't try to push it or make something deeper with you! Everything should be fine so long as you two remain friends, right?

Unluckily, love isn't so easy to just shrug off, and once they realize just how bad they have fallen for you, they start to get nervous about their feelings all over again, much like when they had the choice to join Niigo.

They hide their struggles from you, like always, but slowly, they start to drift away. They can't afford to become so attached, to show just how vulnerable they truly are, to rely on you with their darkest, deepest secrets. Unfortunately for them, it's not that easy.

"... Huh? Ah, sorry, I was just soooo caught up in my editing yesterday that I missed our shopping trip! Sorry, but can we put it on hold until this next song is released?... Huh?? What do you mean this isn't like me, just trust me, come on! I'm not THAT lazy..."

As time passes, it's not only harder to lie to you, but to themselves as well. Each day they spend away from you they think of you more, and more. Not only more, but they thoughts start to grow intense.

When they previously just thought about being happy with you, and being the best friend for you, now they wanted to watch over you so that you were always well, and safe.

So, still riddled with guilt and now even more so, they start to stalk you. First, it's just online, making sure you make the right friends, then it's more social, as they apologize for their behavior and resume hanging out with you, and slowly they start peering more and more into your personal life.

However, it wasn't of a desire to market you all theirs, they couldn't bear to take you away from what makes you happy, which they understood was socializing and being free, much like them. However, they wouldn't allow anyone to ruin your happiness.

Mizuki couldn't lie to themselves, they were completely and absolutely in love with you now, but someone like them, riddled with insecurities, lies, and identity issues, wouldn't be enough to make you happy, much less as a lover.

However, that doesn't mean they would remain just a friend... In fact, while they looked at you and felt such conflicting emotions in their heart, whenever they looked at others behind their backs, they didn't even notice their suspicions, paranoia, and wariness rising.

"Hey, you remember that girl that asked for help to study two days ago? How do I know about her- that doesn't matter! What's important, is that she's hanging out way too much with the popular girls! Yeah, you know what that means, be careful!"

If they could only be friends, that means they'll be the best friend they can be: Protecting you from people with bad intentions, helping you make your decisions, making your life brighter each day they possibly could. It doesn't matter whether their need for love hurts even worse every time they're called a friend...

It's not long before every single one of your days is influenced by them, be it getting new friends and letting go of others, changing your daily routines, and spending almost every single hour of the day in constant contact with them.

However, it doesn't matter how many times you chat with them now, as opposed to their earlier behavior, you can't help but feel like something's off... Their movements are more intense, their voice as well, yet they only want to talk about you, and shrug off any other friends they mention quickly...

This isn't easy for Mizuki, they love you so much, so much it hurts to be far from you. But they can't love you like you deserve, they shouldn't be the only one. They'll just keep an eye over you, lead you down the right path, keep you safe.

Kanade is surprisingly calm playing any games outside from horror, and she is rarely taunted by the enraging side of competitive luck based ones like Mario party. If Mafuyu wasn't there, she'd probably be the most calm!

She is a follower of the 'its just a game' mentality, and that just makes it harder to get her to react strongly to anything this game can throw at her! That does diminish the excitement though...

That being said, the kindness of her words and actions, no matter outside the game or not, makes it hard for anyone to target her as a victim of mini games or thefts! She's just too nice to take advantage of!

But if anyone does, they better be ready for the others to gang up on whoever tries to ruin the soft angel's plans! Especially with players like the artist and the video editor! How dare they!

"A-ah, wait, you don't really need to steal from them that much... I understand that they did the same to me, but isn't that how you play this game? ... Because it's me? I'm sorry, I don't think I get it..."

In the end, the composer is one of the players that wins the most, mainly because everyone almost always stays out of her way, and only luck can decide if she wins or not! Without the interference of others, it's not hard to see her winning games!

Mafuyu Asahina

The one that never reacts to anything. Not just because she has a resistance, but because she doesn't understand the point of a luck based game. Fun? What's that?

She especially has problems thinking about why this game makes it so easy to let your plans and strategies come tumbling down, be that because of luck or someone else's actions.

The realization of the nature of a troll game never really sets in, and she mostly just plays to try to win, even with all of the signs of a casual game to just mess with your friends. Yeah, Mafuyu doesn't get the vibe...

Eventually, she decides to just opt out and watch, which is a decision that will become pretty frequently in these game nights. Maybe try to get her to play less rng based games next time?

"So, it just changes your position with another player you can't even choose? That's stupid. It's low price, but i don't see why you would even bother in the first place. Am I ruining the mood? Oh. I still don't get it."

When she does play, she does a pretty good job ending in 2nd or 1st, but without her on the playing board, nothing can really be predicted. At least she gives advice whenever they ask for their opinion...?

Ena Shinonome

The worst rager. By far. Ena already gets angry at two of her partners, so at a game that has a history of destroying friendships with pure luck? Yeah she'll be screaming at the screen sooner than later.

At first she is fooled by the friendly and lightheaded looks of the game, and assumes that this is just going to be relaxing and enjoyable! Boy is she wrong.

The moment she realizes just how bad this game gets is when she first misses her star because of a bad roll, and then all of the wonder she had for this game is immediately gone, vanishing in the wind.

She will get angry at this game, at its luck based strategies, at its seemingly random and confusing mini games, at the thieves of coins and stars. Combined with the fact that she just wanted a normal game to wind down from work, and...

"Oh, COME ON!! A one?? Really? As soon as I'm about to turn things around and create an opportunity to win this game refuses to give it to me?? What is this, a psychological experiment??"

Her placements are never the same, sometimes she does luck out and wins, sometimes she loses by a few coins. The worst thing is that no matter what, she'll always be just a tad bit away from a different placement...

Mizuki Akiyama

The worst(Best?) troll. They get so much enjoyment out of messing with their dear artist friend, so making them play a game that's meant to infuriate the ones playing them is like their home turf.

As soon as they play the first turn they immediately understand and synchronize with the game. The luck, the unfairness, everything! It all clicks at once, and the grin that appears on their face already spells danger...

It won't take long for them to start creating strategies and using items not to win, but instead to screw with the others! Especially Ena. Actually, screw with only Ena, probably.

Why? Well, the composer is too sweet, and the lyrics writer probably wouldn't even react, so that leaves only one person left to mess with throughout the entire game!

"Oh, whoops! Looks like that star is going somewhere else! Hehe, a bit too late there, huh Ena?? Aww, don't get so mad! As Mafuyu says, it's just a game, isn't it?? Hehe, I can't get enough of your reactions! It's so much fun!"

They honestly couldn't care less about their actual placements! As long as they get to do some tomfoolery, they don't care about winning or losing a single bit!

IT'S TIME!! Don't worry, the reason I allowed yandere requests is bcuz I don't mind them! In fact I've been waiting for a request like this... I know many in the verse don't like Yan, but I kinda like them... So TYSM for the request!!

Kanade has spend a lot of her time trying to save others, but this goal of hers has left her not only lonely, but also pretty unhealthy and devoid of affection. It's sad, but it's exactly this that makes her value her close ones so much...

She probably comes to know you through her housekeeper, as you come one day as a replacement because she couldn't come! She had already gotten pretty attached to her, so for you? It doesn't start strong, but it's a head start for her obsession to start...

She doesn't start getting close though, and her obsession takes a long while to truly start. Since she hasn't learned much about her feelings yet, the biggest thing in her mind is simply composing and working. It's you who has to make the first step, and that's when her thoughts about you start to shift.

The more you talk to her the more she starts to realize how strange this is. When she finishes a piece and should be thinking about her next one, she's thinking about if you'd like it. Same when in the process of composing something new and thinking about how much you'd like it.

And eventually, she'll stop herself from overworking another night and ask herself: What's happening? Why is she thinking about you so much? She needs to save someone, that's why she's composing. So why does your image flood her mind every single moment that passes? That's when she realizes that her feelings for you may be something more important than she thought...

It's not soon before Kanade makes the sudden request for you to visit more often! She misses your face, and wants to see you?? Well, no matter! If she's happy then you're willing to visit even on weekdays and check up on her! It's ironic, how your visits that were meant to keep her healthy are now making her act the opposite way.

"Ah... Yeah, t-thanks for coming again. I know I just saw you yesterday, but having someone like you by my side helps me a lot, you know? It's always been hard for me to do things all by myself, and at first I didn't mind, really... But now that you're here, I think I can live a better way each day that passes..."

Every time you visit, she wants to stop composing and come talk to you, have you make small talk with her, make her meals, everything. But she's just so awkward... How does she get you to talk? How can she ask you to cook without looking disrespectful? That's why she turns to composing once again.

One day, as she composes something new, you catch her writing the lyrics... She doesn't have enough time to hide them, and soon the jig is up... You think. In fact, although that part of the lyrics reveals that she holds romantic feelings for you, it doesn't show how deep they go...

So, having the wrong image in your head, you accept her as a couple! And that day, she doesn't even need to compose something to not be able to fall asleep. As you promise her to come over to live with her, she has a million thoughts running through her head. That's when, whether she realizes or not, that her obsession truly starts to manifest.

Her obsession is quiet, but lurking, never fading. She watches you inside her home, always too afraid to make a move. Sometimes you catch her, but she looks so inoffensive that you just tease her and drop the subject. Sometimes you don't, and she can spend hours simply stalking you...

She continues to compose more and more, but this time she doesn't want anyone to see it. She uses songs as an outlet to let out her desires to spend an eternity with you by her side, with no care for the world outside of your home together...

The only reason now that she has to take care of herself is your concerns, as you watch the bags under her eyes grow. You feed her, and make sure she gets enough sleep! Thankfully she always listens to you, however if you ever forget to take care of her, her state will worsen fast...

She doesn't care much about her own state, it's hard for her to do that anymore. The only thing on her mind is you, what you say, what you do... And with thoughts of you filling her mind, how could she bother to do anything else than compose for you and observe you silently?

If she doesn't, you may be taken away, just like her family was... The thought of that consumes her with fear. She can't afford that to happen, so she continues to watch over you, making sure that you're happy, healthy, and safe together with her... If only she had more courage to speak what she truly thinks... Guess she'll just have to keep hiding it forever...

First romantic ask with actual truly romantic action in it, and man did I struggle... It was kinda hard, and I'm not too confident about it, but I hope you like it! And also I may have messed up the intentions, but I think this still came out nicely! Happy late holidays!

Kanade Yoisaki

Kanade would never in a million years see this coming. She's spent so much of her life out of the loop of classic traditions, and even though she may know of a few she still wouldn't see them coming.

Especially the mistletoe one, as she was never one to care too much for any cheesy romantic themes on the internet, since she definitely couldn't find about it another way...

Even as she gets into a relationship, she seems clueless about the standard activities to do in one, and you have to guide her along and teach her everything... No, you won't teach her everything! Because seeing her reactions to some of these things is a truly unforgettable experience!

And these are the prime example! You already had a mistletoe ready for the special day, so you put it up right above the door to her room for some 'decorative purpose', but you also tell her to keep it a secret from the group! Why? You'll tell her tomorrow!

Then, the day arrives, and you knock on her door. She opens it, and there you are, both of you standing below it! The grin on your face couldn't be any wider and the confusion on her face couldn't be any more clear...

You calmly explain to her that the mistletoe is a tradition, and that when two people stand below it, they must do something quite special together...

You can't help but laugh at the look on her face once you finish telling her about it! Her cheeks brighten up intensely, as she nervously looks at you, shaking eyes telling you everything you need to know...

"W-wait wait, y-you're not serious right? U-um, I-I know I've h-heard about this before, b-but this is t-too sudden... I-I mean, a k, a k-kiss? I-i'm not ready yet-"

Before she can say another word, you use her flustered state to swoop in and connect your lips with hers. You can feel how badly she tenses up, even if you aren't holding her, but your gentle press is making sure that she doesn't try to run...

Before she can make up her mind, you embrace her. The kiss can't be too intense either, as she would probably overheat if that was the case! You resist the temptation to make it more passionate, keeping it sweet and separating soon after.

Once you let go, she stares down at the ground as her whole body tenses up. Now you feel sort of bad for the little girl, but you need to be the lead for things like this and she has to get used to them eventually!

For now though, you simply lead her to the bed, and let her relax as you put on some relaxing music. She buries herself in your touch, hugging you as she hides her face. She was still trying to process what just happened, but even still your touch helped her calm down...

She will spend the next few days of her life thinking about that kiss. Poor girl has spent so much of her life alone and without affectionate touch that a sudden kiss like that couldn't fade away so easily!

You'll try to remember her reaction forever, and you'll be more careful next time. After all, she is so vulnerable to touches and actions like that, that you feel bad for her...

Ena Shinonome

Ohh, now this one's an interesting one. Ena is more aware than Kanade about traditions like this one, but she considers things like that childish, and as a result, doesn't expect them either! Too bad for her...

There is a chance she will mention this to you before the holidays and alongside that, tell you that she doesn't care about stuff like that! Well no worries, you'll make her care soon enough!

Even though she does enjoy this romantic relationship she has with you, she is still not the best at initiating affectionate actions, as she isn't used to being the one who offers them! She is way more comfortable letting you take charge of those!

However, she is quite sharp, so you have to be sneaky about the mistletoe placement. As her partner, you know a lot about how she acts every time she visits your house, and that gives you an idea!

She has shown how much she dislikes having to wait for you to open the front door, so she uses a copy of your keys to enter and go to your room! You set the mistletoe on the inside, and as you hear the door opening, you stand near the door!

You open your arms as she opens the door to your room, and she gives in and hugs you! After all, she does tend to want your touch every time she arrives from outside! And that's exactly what you use to bait her into the correct position!

You can't help but giggle excitedly as you hold her even tighter so she doesn't escape, and when she asks about how you're acting, you tell her to look upwards with the biggest grin on your face!

"... No. No, that's a joke, right?... Are you freaking serious?? N-no, no no no! S-stop holding me so t-tight! I-I though you said that y-you weren't interested?? You f-freaking liar! I-I... W-we can't!"

The more she speaks, the more she stutters and the brighter the blush in her face gets! You resist the intense urge to call her absolutely adorable and decide to close the distance and initiate the kiss!

Her voice turns into protestant muffles as she tries to separate the kiss, but in her flustered state she can do nothing except submit to your lead and simple lean in to enjoy it! And that's when you get an even better idea...

As soon as the artist starts getting into it, you separate the kiss and let go of the hug, using her earlier resistance as an excuse to stop it! Sure, the kiss was enjoyable, but you know better than anyone that her reactions are way more valuable...

And you were right! She's frozen stiff, stuck in between the feelings of enjoying the kiss and being angry at your attempts to start it! In the end, she starts scolding you because of the latter, but she stops soon afterwards!

She can't resist, and admits that she did enjoy the kiss, and will forgive you if you continue it! You can't help but laugh, knowing that this weakness of her is something that she would never show to anyone else...

It's thanks to these similarities that when you reveal your true nature, Ena sort of understands and doesn't question it too much! However, the severe change does create some whiplash...

The call starts, and she does put up the act... At first. She never takes it fully off, but as the call progresses and your casual, relaxed tone makes the atmosphere more comfortable, she starts to lower the mask a bit... The fake expressions slowly become less forced, and her tone as well.

That's only the first one though. She's still hesitant to show you her real stoic self, but she still shows you more than anyone else! She also seems quite invested in the song you're creating together, and even learning a bit about your style...

Not just your style though! She learns about your goals, motivations, song preferences, even just random events of your life you mentioned while you two brainstormed some ideas! It lets her mind rest and not focus too much on the end result...

Sometimes, she randomly DMs you to start a casual conversation, only for her to just listen to you, saying anything that comes to your mind! After that, you two write a bit more, and then log off!

"... Oh, why am I not saying anything? Sorry, I just enjoy listening. Yeah, I was talking a lot the first time, but I prefer it this way. Hm?... Yes, it was acting. I never show my true side to anyone on a first meeting. That includes you, of course."

She could technically just finish writing the lyrics herself in a flash, but she waits for you, for your opinions and participations! She has never worked on lyrics alongside someone else, so it does feel a little strange.

Once you're done though, she feels as if her chest was not just warm, but light. As if there was a weight there she didn't even notice before, and now it was gone... She shows the lyrics to the group so that they combine it with the rest as always!

However, they're surprised to hear Mafuyu speaking so much about the process. It wasn't fast like usual, but by the amount she was talking, they could tell that she really got into it... They will silently agree to partner you two up again soon.

"... Why are you all silent all of a sudden? Hm, was I really speaking that much? You were the ones who asked though. Is it really that out of the ordinary... Hm, now that i think about it..."

She too will notice how she doesn't mind your presence, and voila! You have yourself a stoic girl who enjoys randomly messaging you to hear you speak whatever's on your mind!

Sure, she stays silent most of the time, but you can see that her smile slowly changes as you talk... Maybe, just maybe you're becoming special to her? Maybe you could be able to do more things together? Only time will tell...

Mafuyu has gotten into fights with her friend and coworker, who she has known for more than 2 years, so it wouldn't be too much of a surprise that you, as her new friend that is just starting to get to know her true side would eventually get into one as well!

Something that has definitely gotten her in such situations is her stubbornness, as she can be pretty hard headed and too logical at times. It can be easy at times to forget that she isn't being cynical 100% on purpose...

However, her stubbornness was especially annoying when paired with her views on life, on hers specifically. One day that you went to talk with the girl, you were met with her eyes darker than usual. Sadly, her slow defrosting of emotions also meant that at times she would also feel worse than usual...

She would contemplate the option of disappearing with you, seemingly unaware of the effort that you and the rest of Nightcord went through to help her along and make progress with her! You couldn't help but start to get a little loud once she stopped listening to your examples of the efforts to change her.

It got to you, as you shouted at her that everything had changed around her, and that she had also changed alongside it all! Now that she had made progress, she couldn't say that it was going nowhere!

"... I see your point. Very well, maybe I'll put it off for now... What is with that look on your face? Did I get you that emotional? I didn't notice at all... Should I do something?"

Unaware of what to do in this uncomfortable situation, she calls for Miku to help you cool off, as she decides to go off on her own to reorganize herself and try to understand what happened. She had made progress and she was aware, so... Why did those thoughts suddenly appear again?

And specially... Why did her chest felt so tight and she felt so helpless when she saw you in that disorganized and emotional state? That wasn't a feeling she enjoyed. She would definitely be making an effort to not repeat this for now...

Ena Shinonome

Ena is probably one of the easiest members of the group to get into a fight with. She can get really defensive and snappy at times, and her mood sometimes isn't really great, so she also can be pretty grumpy at times.

Thankfully, she doesn't really do much when it comes to N25 and her friends since she knows when to back off and cool off! She might still look annoyed and have a frown on her face, but as long as one doesn't taunt her too badly, everything should turn out fine... Most of the time.

Sometimes, her mood gets worsened by how she spends the day, usually turning out the worst when she starts overworking herself for the sake of her art. It makes her feel exhausted, both from herself and the people around her. In combination with her general sensitivity to criticism, and, well...

When Ena was visiting the empty sekai to cool off, she just happened to see your face there, and as soon as you teased her for looking burnt out, she couldn't help but lash out at you. You instinctively started acting defensively, which prompted her to get louder, to the point that the vocaloids arrived and had to calm her down themselves.

You decided to leave for now, to wait until Ena was feeling better and not overwhelmed. You also messaged the rest of Nightcord to tell them about what had happened, and after a few minutes you received a message from her!

[Sorry... I wasn't really feeling well, and I just exploted without really meaning to... I'm feeling better now, so I hope that you can forgive me...]

Usually, the artist wasn't so passive in her texts, so you could tell at first glance how badly she must have felt at snapping at you like that. Of course you would visit the sekai to comfort her!

She seemed to be pretty exhausted when you saw her again. You wouldn't be surprised if she had also used the chance to let out a few of her worries and just generally discharged some of her bad energy! She looked at you with eyes that showed how tired she was, and you decided to not dwell into it too much...

After all, everyone in the group had their own worries and problems, and if she wasn't about to reveal her own, it wouldn't be fair for you to try and get it out of her, would it?

Anyways to maks things quick, I would like to request a (Ena x Reader) (Mafuyu x reader) where Reader constantly gets nightmares ever since they were a child and has gotten used to it to the point that they think its normal? They'll make jokes about it and be confused why everyone is looking at them concerned. When Reader casually told the gals that they had another very gory(?) nightmare as if it's just another normal day, and then, Reader tries to guess what kind of nightmare they'll get later tonight, completely normal. (Mafuyu) (Ena) then just looks at Reader with a questioned/conerned look.

Once again, lowering the characteristic a bit to not step into crack territory! Caw.

Mafuyu had always been desensitized to a lot of emotion inducing experiences, like mystery horror tours or the stress before a test. It wasn't a surprise for her anymore to see the difference in her reactions to the rest of the people around her.

So she was interested to see what her friends thought about or felt about the world around them, in the form of questions. This was especially true whenever they told her about things like past events or experiences, much like your nightmares!

Whenever she asked anyone about nightmares, she remembers how uncomfortable or scared the voices of her coworkers get when telling the experiences. From their descriptions, Mafuyu can understand the fear factors in these visions, much like their reactions in the mystery tour.

So whenever you talked about your unnaturally common nightmares as if you were desensitized... Wait, were you actually desensitized like her? That wasn't what she expected out of you!

"Hm. So, it's a common thing, huh? And thanks to the common occurrences, you're used to it. I see, how... Interesting... Ah, excuse me, you're getting me thinking."

It gets Mafuyu thinking about her own state, how common occurrences got her to a worse degree of numbness than yours. It gets her to ask about your nightmares every single day, something unusual for her: Curiosity.

Listening to your tales of what your mind conjures up isn't the most fascinating of ways to spend her time, but it's progress that she wishes to make to understand her emotional situation. Perhaps, with you, she could take a step in the right direction...

Ena Shinonome

Ena's creativity can play a lot of tricks on her, especially in the form of occasional nightmares and dreams that are of the most bizarre kinds. It's no wonder then that; for one of the most easily scared members of N25; she wouldn't like the concept of nightmares at all...

Sometimes, the topic would arise in Nightcord discussions, and it would certainly make her the most uncomfortable, as the other scaredy cat in the ground didn't sleep (well) enough to get them!

It did get her to desire someone else to share her troubles about it with, so she decides to talk about it with you, hoping to find someone else to sympathize with about the ordeal! But the response that she receives is way different from what she expected...

"... Wait, e-eh? What do you mean, i-it's so bloody you can't e-explain it?? And what's with that expression!? Almost as if they didn't happen-... But then, why are your s-stories so detailed..."

She is in denial at first, as you quickly realize how you can use this reaction of hers to your advantage. Enter many days afterwards of telling her about your nightmares with every detail possible without her asking for it.

You have never seen Ena so frustrated, yet so helpless that she can't even start screaming at you or scolding you! And the rest of Nightcord pick up on it: Whenever they accompany Ena, expect her teasing coworker to ask about your latest dreamworld experience.

Soon enough, you'll run out of material and have to slow down a bit to make sure to keep it up. She finds your dedication to the bit annoying, and does plan to get even with you someday...

But anyways, to keep things short and simple. I would like to request a (Mafuyu x Reader) and a (Ena x Reader). In which the Reader is academically gifted but has parents that doesn't pay attention to them. Whenever anyone's around (or at school) the Reader forces out a cheerful persona, but whenever they come home, Reader just turns stoic and goes to their room since no one else inside the house is even going to bother to ask how their day was going.

It was no secret to N25 that hiding one's true colors from Mafuyu was practically impossible. So even as she herself was with a mask on at the school, she could see the many others that were lying and exaggerating... Not that she cared.

However, she was immediately curious when she learnt that there was a new student joining the council... And when the came up and introduced themselves, Mafuyu could see clearly a mask on them, very similar to hers and her tailor friend... Almost like a mix between the two.

As the first meeting between them finished, she called you to stay for a bit, wanting to ask some questions to see how sturdy your act was, before sharing some closing thoughts!

"Aha, I see! You were definitely right for this rose! It's refreshing, really, because we've been missing one spot for a while now! I'm glad that you accepted and decided to come here! I'll be looking forward to your presence every day here... Well, as much as you'd be interested. I can tell you aren't, but if you do, we could have another chat. A true chat, so to speak. I would know, since we're more similar than you think!

Before you could respond, she was already leaving through the door. You returned to your room, paranoid about what she meant by those words. Was she threatening you with your secret? Were they empty threads? Did she even know of your true secret? It was hard to tune out, and those thoughts kept popping up, no matter how hard you tried to distract yourself from them! And especially that last part... Was she really someone you could trust?

You had to answer all of these questions, so of course you attended the next meeting, and of course you stayed behind, asking Mafuyu to do the same! And then... The look she gave you as she turned around was far too familiar. One that you'd seen in the mirror so many times, in fact. Needless to say, you were surprised that you weren't alone in this struggle!

You went back to your seat, your mask crumbling. Yet no matter how safe and understood you felt now, it was hard to fully reveal yourself to her. She could tell that it wasn't really the true you speaking back to her, but you weren't bothering to hide the fact that there was indeed a true you, voicing your opinions and thoughts behind the fake tones and manners of speech!

You gave her your number, interested in keeping up this strange new 'friendship' active before leaving. As for Mafuyu, she was thinking about your situation. Had you gotten so used to keeping up your mask that you struggled to take it off...? Perhaps you and her friend weren't so different... She would be a fool to throw away this chance to get to know you.

Ena Shinonome

Ena wasn't really the most analyzing one when it came to people, and especially compared to Mizuki and Mafuyu... It was definitely another story when it came to art, but sadly, it didn't carry over. That's why she didn't see through your pretending as well as some of her group-mates may have! She just found your cheeriness a bit... Odd. She knew better, though, thanks to a certain someone, that perhaps it was best to not push it too far at first... Trust was first, after all!

She simply stayed by your side, asking you about your day whenever you were leaving classes, calling you whenever she finished hers to chat a little... She made sure that you were aware that you weren't just another student in her eyes!

You were already used to tuning out the voices around you in class, and the cold silence back home, so having someone asking you almost every day to chat felt off... At first, it was exhausting to keep up the mask. However, as the days passed you sort of started to long for these conversations...

It was a very strange feeling, to be awaiting a certain person to chat with... However, the way she so casually mentioned that she was jealous of your dedication to studies one day caught your off guard! Not only was she looking to chat with you everyday, but she also appreciated the effort you put into high school?? You quickly made a pretext, before running back home and into your room!

You were careless, and the mask was about to fall off right in front of her! You calmed down inside your room, and pulled out your cellphone to continue the conversation from before, now that you were feeling a bit more composed. You didn't want to appear as too rude, after all...

"Heyyy!! You can't just run off like that! You scared me, you know?? *Sigh*... I just told you what I really feel, what's wrong with that? If we're gonna be friends, then it's only right to share what we truly think, right? After all, what's a friendship built with lies and deception? One that's bound to crumble, I'd say. I'm sure you can understand now, and I hope you come to apologize properly at night!"

A friendship built on deception... Perhaps you were being a bit too harsh on her. She clearly wanted to know more and more about you, and she was being surprisingly nice and patient the entire time you've been chatting! Perhaps it was ok to show off at least a little...

When you came to greet her after she left her school, your cheerful demeanor was a bit less bright than before... Your voice was less cheery, but still had some energy to it... Ena could tell that you were willing to show her a new side, just not completely yet, and she was happy to see that she was getting somewhere! If she has managed to take off half of your mask, then that was reason enough to keep it up!

It was a little unnerving to see that familiar face with unfamiliar voice and words, but she'd grow used to it, like she had with other people! And as for you, it was nice to not have to force your act to the fullest all the time. If you were gonna keep this up every day, it would be best to not exhaust yourself fully each time... Besides, it was nice to be able to share some snark that was hidden from everyone. It certainly surprised Ena, that's for sure!

Sorry this took longer than usual! It was a bit harder than I expected to come up with something solid for a while... Caw.
