Spoilers for Boruto if no one already said but not only is Sai wearing a (more boring) version of his root uniform, he's head of anbu- where there are ongoing investigations into root and previous root members and operations

Unfortunately it's no longer a one long sleeve one short weird length crop top. And it's tucked into his pants

ok head of anbu i can understand i guess, but if root is disbanded (it must be at that point right? danzō is dead and he's Far too jealous and paranoid to have left anyone else the reigns to root...)

would it not be Weird. to walk around. in a clearly new and updated version of the uniform. of an organization he previously belonged to. which is being investigated (BY HIM?) (i can only hope for war crimes and human rights abuses but this IS naruto so...they could just be investigating to find out if danzō had any extra eyes left over. lmfao)
