so i have a lil hc that aerith made a bedroom in one of the old empty storage rooms in the church. its not super big but it has a window and shes decorated it and she has a little bed. it just affords her more privacy when she needs it

so after doing the bahamut battle im Thinking

dion wasnt there. at all. the entire time you can hear joshua and clive speaking but dion doesnt respond. which tells me hes just..not...present?? and also like. if ultima can make people not prime then obvi he can make people prime. which is what i think were seeing when dion transforms. bc earlier in the game we saw how seamlessly he primes so him yelling and screaming was him trying to fight it

hc that another motivation for the night of flames was that elwin and sylvestre agreed to have joshua and dion marry when they came of age (this is before dion came out as trans) as it would be a holy union btwn the phoenix and bahamut and it would strengthen rosaria and sanbreques alliance
