AKA, enough anons send me stuff to react to in character on munday that I wanna shamelessly indulge in it to the rest of the Pokeask Community. :D Inspired partly by Fern's Munday Doodles and our talks in DMs.

Guidelines for these, I guess? Or just what to expect:

None of this is canon! It's a shitpost bubble. An amalgam of time and space.

In a nutshell; think of something for my characters to react to! Can be something silly, something dramatic (but keep it light-hearted), or both at the same time. Take this chance to ask/ show them things that could break the canon. USHER IN PURE CHAOS. Bonus points if it involves multiple characters of mine, I really love writing banter.

You can also involve your character(s) in the fun; bonus points if they met at least once! Pokeask OCs only.

I'll primarily be writing for these! If doodles are done in response, however? I might respond with a doodle of my own.

These are being done for fun, so what's written may not be entirely polished, if that makes sense.

If the interaction is more involved, spanning multiple asks for example, it may not get published the same day. Please be patient. ;;

4? Well then...Here I go.

1 - There really should be a bit more pressure on referencing the ask / RP meme in question

I know this is like the third or fourth time I've been blabbering on about it-- and I think I have it in the rules, but time and time again I see people who send rp memes to my blogs not reference the RP meme they want to send. I don't just mean the simple icons or the thing the meme asks one to send the mun, but referencing which rp meme it came from.

This will help big times when answering ask from like days/weeks/months ago that are still left unanswered. I have like 140+ asks and no one-- I repeat: NO ONE has sent an ask while referencing the rp meme they're referring to. Now it wouldn't be that much of an issue if I had reblogged like one or two rp memes in total, but I know myself and I have reblogged many rp memes over these years and there's a good amount of those memes that share the same emoji's/icons to the point where I am honestly considering deleting old asks that don't reference the RP that it came from.

Now I will admit, I do that myself unintentionally and I do wish that I did refer the memes in question cause I know that it will help make it easier for the mun who'd want to answer older asks.

Honestly, I should just reblog rp memes and add a clear line of text stating to reference this asks when sending it.

2 - There needs to be a return to fun M!A's and events

Is this like a very old trend of tumblr that died off or are there no longer any M!A(Magic Anons) around? And on top of that, where's the fun tumblr roleplay events?

It may be me who did a lot of M!A back when I had an ask blog for my muses, but I loved these things and it was a random fun thing you could get and of course you get to have the final say if that M!A starts yes or no.

Like-- I can recall a few M!A's I had done-- mostly my muses transforming into other muses, but the shenanigans that happened was silly. I also remembered that one time when there was a M!A where Maroon turned into a literal raccoon, it was hilarious!

And then there's RP events. Although there's one I'm doing right now (thanks @hxroic-wxlls for allowing us to partake in that Mario cruise event, it's fun!), there's a scarily few amount of those nowadays on tumblr and it's kind of sad to see something from old tumblr not be so present anymore if at all.

Honestly, there should be more of those events happening in the future-- like proms, Au events, etc. I bet it'll be a fun time on this hellsite!

3 - Ask blogs and Roleplay blogs are just the same thing

As someone who had worked both kinds I've come to the realization that ask blogs and roleplay blogs are mostly the same, the only difference being that ask blogs are mostly ones with art (or in my case back in the day: models) whereas roleplay blogs are mostly just icons and text. Honestly I should restart my ask blog part once again

4 - there's no need to know every single detail about your own muse

Okay, this part hits a bit closer to home as there's been times in the far past where people called me out on the fact that I don't roleplay a muse properly cause I haven't owned/played/read/watch any media involving them. At that time it was from the Neps years ago and yes while I haven't owned any of the Nep media at the time I have watched some things.

I think it's totally fine to wing a muse, it's a part of the charm of roleplaying: roleplay the muse you want to see fit. And if you don't know some details about the muse in question? Is that bad? Not really, but it does help the portrayal, but it doesn't have to be these tiny details that make or break a muse. Sure, some small details may seem small at first but in reality it's a big impact, but I think it doesn't mean it's the end of roleplaying a muse. It's exactly why canon divergent muses exist!

Meme Week is officially here !!

Here are a few things to note about meme week;

Instead of our regular meme weekend (lasting 3 days) this month we will have an entire week to reblog and send memes! (This is to give everyone a chance to send & receive memes, even if they’re busy).

As it’s a longer time for memes, I’ll be reblogging a few with similar/the same numbers or emojis so please send the full meme wording (i.e. 3 - What’s your favourite colour? instead of just ‘3′.) You can also state what meme it’s from in the ask (e.g. Development Meme)

The number 1 rule is if you’re asking for memes, you must send them too!

Mark looooves putting up a front/personality <3

So, a lot of his academic speak he picked up from academia in general. The type of mf'er to say "regardless" and "furthermore" in normal sentences.

He picked up using emojis in text from Sampson - like : ) and : P - as well as cursing more than he used to lol.

Aaannnddd on a less wholesome note, when he is speaking to people who he looks down upon, he's started speaking more slowly, and deliberately. This is something Julius does that he picked up on.

anddd I'll answer...: 50: What belief / moral / personality trait do they stand by that you (mun) personally don’t agree with?

Mark believes humanity can get better slowly and deliberately, without the need for major violent revolutions. Myself and Mark both believe humanity is getting better and progressing, but Mark doesn't think that anything revolutionary/violent has to happen for that progress - I believe there does have to be, for capitalism to end. Mark isn't even necessarily anti-capitalist haha.

rules for this blog are listed below the cut. last updated 1/18/24. please read these all the way through.

— I will only interact with those who are 20 or older. I am very selective with whom I follow, and that is that. I will only interact with whom I want to interact with, with no exceptions. Please respect that I might not always be active here, as I have a life outside of roleplay.

— As stated above, I have many responsibilities outside of roleplay. I have multiple disabilities that prevent me from being able to write from time to time. Please do not rush me for replies. However, after a week has gone by, and I haven't replied to our thread, please feel free to poke me!

— Please remember that mun does not equal muse. I do not condone some of my muses' actions, but such is writing a muse. That being said, if any of the following things trigger or squick you (death, murder, suicide, blood, etc.), then do be cautious or don't interact. Your health comes first.

— I can only use the beta editor at this time and would prefer if those writing with me could just switch over to the beta editor as well. I have no way of using legacy whatsoever.

— Please do not steal my graphics or icons; these are either made by myself or my partner (faithscore) and we work very hard to make them perfect. I use MediBang for my icons and a mix of Paint Tool Sai 2 and PhotoPea for my graphics.

— I am perfectly fine with asks and memes sent my way, but please make sure to specify which meme it’s from, especially if it’s an emoji prompt list. I cannot keep track of all of the prompt lists I reblog. I am getting tired of this rule not being followed, so I'm going to be a little harsher when it comes to it.

— I am mutuals only and would prefer to only write with those who are mutuals. Questions to my muses, if not intended for threading, can be sent by non-mutuals, but threads and such are exclusive to mutuals of mine. If you are following my main blog (petalswept) then you already count as a mutual !!

— I love duplicates!!! I love seeing how others write the same muses as me!! Go ahead and throw them at me, I can always make AUs for them to interact in!!! 

Speaking of AUs and verses, I love creating them, and I have quite a few prepared in advance for variety!!

— I love shipping, but please don’t just shove it in my face. I’m aware that I used to do the same thing, but now I know not to. The characters need to have chemistry first, though I love plotting beforehand if we’re both on the same page.

Please do not force shipping on me. Doing such will result in a block if it persists.

Platonic, familial, rivals, etc, all of those types of pairings are more than welcome here and I’m glad to explore those dynamics as well!!

— Please do not interact if you ship pedophilia, incest, etc, or otherwise believe that such things in fiction can not impact one’s perception of reality.

— NSFW / adult content will not be present on this blog, plain and simple. Suggestive content, yes, but nothing more than that. The closest you will get to such a thing on here is maybe a headcanon or two, but all will be properly tagged.

— Please do not include me in drama. I do not support calling people out for petty shit, especially not for things that could’ve been easily solved by talking.

I am big on telling people if they’ve made you uncomfortable and clearing things up with a little talk, as it’s often something unintentional in my experience, so if I’ve done something, please message me and I’ll gladly clear anything up with you.

— I tend to make friends with my mutuals, though if you would prefer not to, just let me know so that I don’t cross any boundaries. My Discord is also available upon request, but only to mutuals.

— By default, assume my blog and portrayals are not spoiler-free unless otherwise stated. I often try not to write a character unless I am very familiar with their source, but if I need to be careful with spoilers for any muse, let me know! I don’t want to ruin someone's experience with a thread or a series.

— While I am definitely okay with practicing mains on this blog, I may practice exclusives if I feel like I want to. This is often due to me only wishing to write with my partner’s portrayal of a character for certain reasons. If that is ever the case, do not push me to interact if you are not the exclusive portrayal.

— I do not mention this very often on my blogs, but I am plural, and we have alters of all three of the muses here. As such, they may show up to write themselves from time to time, and some if not all headcanons are likely their influence some way or another. If that makes you uncomfortable, then don't interact. But be sure to tell me so that I can cut ties because if you're not comfortable with all facets of me then we shouldn't be interacting at all. :)

⭐ This is a (mostly) private and very low effort multi-muse.

⭐ Not interacting with any muses or muns under 23. Exceptions can be made but no one below 18+ period. This means muns and muses and extends to physical appearances ( as in idc if you're vampire is 1000+ if they only physically look 17, stay away from me). Gonna be RPing some pretty heavy stuff here theme wise.

⭐ I will be screaming about muses a lot. Gonna post lots of fc posts and edits and hcs, etc. If you get annoyed easily, this ain't the blog to follow. I've got lots of self-indulgent muses. Idc if they're bad, they make me kick my legs and teehee.

– Keep the basics in mind. I shouldn't have to type them all out. Don't be fucking WEIRD. I'm liberal with my hard block.

– This is a MOSTLY private blog as I won't really be advertising it. I am open to writing with people besides mutuals on my other blog. Just know I am likely not going to be the first to follow in most instances. But if I do follow first, know that I read all info and rules before doing so. c:

– My graphics are going to be at a minimum. I have basic headers for all muses but otherwise I'll be without. Some muses will have their own icons. Sometimes I'll use GIFs. There won't be a uniform theme here so expect a lot of Frankenstein bullshit.

– Expect info pages to be the same. This is a low effort blog and I just want to write and yell about these bastards. Some muse pages will have pictures, others not. Some will be more detailed, etc. Some won't have any at all and will have a normal info post written about them. If you ever have any questions about any of the idiots, hmu. For the most up to date list of muses, please refer to my LIST VIEW OF MUSES instead of just my MUSE page.

– I tend to fixate on different muses at different times so don't expect me to talk about or write all of them at once.

– When sending memes, please specify for WHO it is. All muses will have an emoji assigned to them that I'll be using for various things, feel free to also use this method. If you can't decide on a muse, I always encourage the good ole' RNG method. Unlabeled memes may take longer to answer or may not even be answered at all as I struggle a lot with choice paralysis.

– I won't be RPing with muses and muns under 23. This can be case by case but will typically be adhered to. Shipping wise, I'm not going to be doing more than 10 year age gaps between muses for any muse under like 35. As in I may be open for a 35 yr old with a 50 yr old. But I will not be down for a 25 yr old with a 50 yr old.

For immortal muses, same applies but with their physical appearance (as in idc if your vampire is 500, if they look 18 I will not be writing or shipping with them with my mid 40s looking muse)

– Some muses are closed to romantic shipping. (Liluthe & Seoyeon rn) Please respect that. :) A lot of these muses are connected and know each other as well so I may have them mention one another from time to time. A lot are also heavily connected to my main muse, Clark, over on kxllerblond. I have some that are super self-indulgent ocs with ties to canons. Always willing to write that out though

– I have some unwritten DNI's and won't list them all but atm I will not be writing with any TVD muses period unless I've got an established mun relationship with you outside of writing those characters.
