If you’re looking for the perfect excuse to finally get a robotic vacuum, Memorial Day is the time to buy one.
As part of Amazon's deal of the day, the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 12 is on sale for $168 (was $240). The slim, 2.85-inch body glides under furniture seamlessly for a through vacuum each time and has the power of multi-surface cleaning. Its BoostIQ feature helps automatically increase suction power as needed, and its high-capacity battery delivers up to 100 minutes of run time.
Other notable features include a large, .6-liter dustbox, a triple-filter system and drop-sensing technology to prevent falls. Best of all, the vacuum automatically recharges so it's always ready to go. Multiple cleaning modes and a pre-set vacuuming time makes vacuuming more seamless than ever.

“This robovac is awesome!” wrote a 5-star reviewer. “It ran like a charm and didn’t get stuck. It appears to have cleaned everywhere. I can’t find any grass or anything left over. It even went under my kitchen table and chairs as well as my coffee table no problem. This Eufy 12 is a better deal than the Eufy 11S - same specs but more power and $20 less at the time of this review. Do not hesitate to purchase this robovac!”
This Eufy model gets the seal of approval from multiple dog owners, including one who raved it’s a “life saver.”
“This vacuum is amazing. Keeps my floors clean from all the dog hair. I have two dogs and it keeps up with them,” wrote the reviewer. “Well worth your money, plus it wont cost you an arm and a leg like the top brands.”
Another, who calls it the “best purchase” wrote, “The Eufy has been doing a great job vacuuming the house every day and runs for quite a while before parking itself back into the charger. It has had no problem going from tile to carpeting and back again and seems to cover all areas in the room. And cleanup is a breeze with the easy to pull out dirt cup and brush. Another plus is how quiet it is. We can watch TV in the same room as the vacuum is running. I've been telling all my friends about about my new ‘house cleaner.’”

Singer Joy Villa wears anti-abortion gown on Daytime Emmys red carpet: 'Pro-life is pro-woman'

Joy Villa may be more renown for her controversial red carpet statements than her discography — and she shows no signs of slowing down.
The conservative singer-songwriter — who has hit the Grammys in gowns with “Make America Great Again” and “Build the Wall” slogans — resurfaced on the Daytime Emmys red carpet on Sunday in a dress espousing her anti-abortion views.

Villa's dress also featured baby-carrying storks. (Photo: Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP)
The Desi Designs Couture gown was embellished with images of storks carrying babies, while its bright green skirt featured the line “Pro-life is pro-woman.”
According to an Instagram post by Villa, the dress is in honor of the anti-abortion organization Save the Storks, “a charity my husband and I financially support ... for only $35/month you can save the unborn and their mothers.”
She continued, “Abortion is so often only spoken about as a ‘women’s right’ but I stand here to stand up for EVERY WOMAN and her right to life!”
She also spoke of once being “pressured” to get an abortion, but instead arranged an open adoption for the baby girl she delivered.
I love to carry the message of life & empower women. I’ve personally survived an abusive relationship years ago & was pressured to choose abortion, but I chose an open adoption & I have relationship with my daughter today! 🙌🏽❤️This is why I know #ProlifeIsProwoman @savethestorks pic.twitter.com/LsPDsP28lu

Villa has previously worn outfits slamming abortion rights. She attended the 2018 Grammys in a dress that featured a hand-painted baby and a rainbow uterus, while her purse read “Choose Life.” And in March, she supported the premiere of the anti-abortion film Unplanned wearing a hot pink latex dress that read “F**k Planned Parenthood.”
Unsurprisingly, her latest outspoken ensemble has caused quite the stir. Villa tweeted that she was harassed while posing on the red carpet.
Ok it was an INCREDIBLE night at the #DaytimeEmmys (my 1st!) but some of the photographers were yelling insults at me. Crazy right? One woman screamed “Joy! YOU ARE WRONG. PROLIFE IS NOT PROWOMAN!” This is the 2nd time photographers have tried to harass me on red carpet.

It just goes to show we have a long but WORTHY fight ahead of us. Never back down. Keep speaking up. Don’t let them tell you your worth! #livematters #maga #ProlifeIsProwoman
— Joy Villa (@Joy_Villa) May 6, 2019
When that sort of stuff happens, I just smile and hold my position. There is NOTHING anyone can say that will stop me from spreading my messages and using my voice. NOTHING! Life matters. America matters. And we all MATTER! #walkaway and be YOU.
— Joy Villa (@Joy_Villa) May 6, 2019
I don’t share this because “sad” or “im a victim “ quite the contrary. As many of you have said, it’s because it NEEDS TO BE SAID! The oppression of conservatives in Hollywood is at an all time high. Every voice deserves to be heard. No more censorship, no more liberal bullies.
— Joy Villa (@Joy_Villa) May 6, 2019
While likeminded supporters are cheering her red carpet stunt, Villa’s anti-abortion dress has also prompted backlash from critics of Scientology, which she practices.
Joy is a prominent Scientologist. She and her husband donate a lot of money to Scientology. For decades Scientology forced women members of the Sea Org to have abortions. This wasn't about some rogue actors, this was policy. Scientology remains a criminal org & she is complicit https://t.co/XvnCMLHLCq
— Yashar Ali 🐘 (@yashar) May 6, 2019
But yet you are a Scientologist who gives thousands and thousands of dollars to Scientology who force women to get abortions. So tell me joy what Cult do you care about the most?

'Orphan Black': The Stars Reveal What They Took From Set
yahoo
For fans and cast members alike, parting from a long-running series is such sweet sorrow. But that sorrow can be partially alleviated if you have a cool souvenir to take with you. And Orphan Black make-up artist Stephen Lynch made sure the show’s star, Tatiana Maslany, went home with a particularly meaningful parting gift. “He gave me pieces of each of the clones in this cute little box that had the original Polaroid that we took of them,” the actress tells Yahoo TV. “I think there’s a Tony picture with his tooth, there’s Cosima and her nose ring and Krystal and her nail. It’s all these first images of these characters when we first conceived them.”
The Orphan Black men, meanwhile, claimed artwork and clothing, although Kristian Bruun–who plays suburban dad, Donnie Hendrix–had to be forced to take the latter. “Since they seemed to have raided my stepfather’s closet for my wardrobe, I chose not to. Yet I still got a bag delivered to my home with a whole bunch of Donnie clothes! I’m like ‘I’m never going to wear these!'”
Orphan Black airs Saturdays at 10 p.m. on BBC America.
