It had been a few months since the Android Revolution has ended and the Androids gained their freedom. Luna was glad that it ended because if things got any worse then she’d have to force her human friend, Kasumi, to leave Detroit. She didn’t want her to get hurt. Now, things seemed to be more peaceful. It seemed to be, anyway. There were still protesters out there. Luna was still worried that it might get out of hand. 

The blonde Android was so deep into her thoughts that she accidentally bumped into someone, or something. She wasn’t sure at this point. She noticed that she also dropped somethings that she got from the market for her friend and  started picking it up quickly. 

“S-sorry about that! i wasn’t watching where I was going.” Luna said nervously.

@fishsavior || Let the Connors pet puppies and have cake! Connor wasn’t sure why everyone was making a big deal of his birthday...why celebrate the date of his activation? Why call it a birthday when he wasn’t born? But he was excited none the less! Part of celebrating birthdays involved cake and he liked trying different foods even if he couldn’t really eat them. He tired cake earlier and...it was really good? He wished he could actually eat it instead of just licking pieces of it. What else did he want to do today? Pet puppies. He was going to do that. He had to pet all the puppies. And he was going to bring the other RK800 along. They were gonna pet puppies and eat cake and no one was going to stop them. Just try to stop these two Connors on their puppy petting mission.

But among the rusted walls covered in RA9, and the rats making a new home, there was something he didn’t expect to see. A young boy. It took him a minute to understand what he was doing with his hands, but when he does, he quickly changes his language settings to ASL.

“No, No. I am the police. I am friend. Are you okay?”

Friend? The police? The LED on his temple spun rapidly another moment before fading to a steady yellow. Not calm, but not seeing immediate danger either. Not over stressing.

Dyns nodded, taking a hesitant step backwards. Two years ago, according to the information he’d downloaded, there had been an attack here. During the revolution. Some places the boy was still sure he could see Thirium on the wall or floor. But it could be his imagination. 

He’d nodded, saying he was ok. But he wasn’t. Not really. He was scared and alone and scared and really scared he didn’t like being alone. The boy ran forward suddenly. Wrapping his arms around the police officer as best he could. Closer now, in the light, it wouldn't be quite so hard to see the marks on his skin. Damage so deep that even without being human the scars of it remained. The boy cried silently into the adult’s shirt, sobs shaking his chest though he didn’t make a sound.

He’d already given up holding the child’s hand, lifting him instead into his arms and jogging to the safest place he could think of.
