Exploring Unique Ideas
(Post 2 by Bhanu Prakash)
Every great project starts with a spark of imagination. As our team embarked on this creative journey, we each contributed unique ideas, leading to an exciting mix of possibilities. My personal interest gravitated towards the concept of an underwater world, inspired by the legendary Dwarka Underwater Temple. The idea of a high-energy adventure through an ancient submerged city, filled with hidden relics and mystery, captivated me. I wanted to infuse our project with a sense of exploration and discovery.

Contributions from the Team
While I was drawn to the underwater theme, my teammates brought their own creative perspectives:
Himanshu envisioned a story set on a futuristic train, symbolizing a journey through time.
Vanessa focused on the theme of life’s transformation, illustrating various stages of personal growth.
Xin explored the concept of a underwater hidden dome, a place of secrecy and revelation, adding an element of mystery to our discussions.
Through discussions, we realized that all these ideas carried a common thread—the theme of exploration and self-discovery. Each concept had the potential to contribute to a rich, immersive narrative.
Merging Ideas into a Unified Concept
After presenting our initial ideas, our instructor encouraged us to find connections between them. We brainstormed ways to integrate the symbolic elements of each concept into a cohesive story. Initially, we had multiple directions, but after refining our approach, we streamlined it into a four-part journey:
Underwater Scene – Representing ancient mysteries and the unknown, inspired by the Dwarka Temple.
Forest Scene – A symbol of growth, adventure, and exploration.
Temple Scene – Highlighting wisdom, history, and self-reflection.
Cosmic Scene – Depicting limitless possibilities and the journey beyond.
Xin’s and Vanessa's idea of the hidden dome was particularly intriguing, and we explored how it could serve as a pivotal moment in the journey, revealing secrets that connect the past and the future.
This collaborative process helped us transform individual ideas into a well-rounded concept. It was inspiring to see how different creative minds could come together to form a story that felt cohesive and meaningful.
Moving forward, I’m excited to see how we can develop this concept into a visually engaging and immersive experience. By combining action, symbolism, and storytelling, our project has the potential to create something truly unique and impactful.

Who: Kash & Viviene Where: St Mungos When: Sometime after the fight
His heart rate had finally slowed to something close to normal after feeling as though it was going to beat out of his chest from a mixture of panic and adrenaline. But with each moment he’d spent with his sister and nieces, he’d felt it slow that little bit more. Initially he hadn’t wanted to leave any of them, worried that they might not be there when he came back but once the girls had been calm enough ( or maybe just exhausted enough ) to drift off to sleep he figured he could spare half an hour or so. Especially when it was to check on someone that he cared about so much and he couldn’t help but feel responsible somehow for her getting hurt, even though logic told him otherwise. But he never had paid much attention to his head, always diving heartfirst into everything instead.
After a brief conversation with the welcome witch to find the right room, he made a detour to the cafe before announcing himself with a knock on the door. “I brought tea and biscuits.” Grin slipped easily onto his features when he would always be happy to see here. “There wasn’t much choice but they at least seem to be covered in chocolate so I figured they can’t be that bad.” Uncharacteristic nerves had settled in, perhaps simply because for once it felt like he had something to lose. Before they’d had a time limit - a designated end point - but now he was acutely aware of the fact that it didn’t exist here and how much time they had together hinged on whatever he said or did. Smile dropped from his features slightly as concerned gaze flickered over her. “How are you feeling?”

Rajesh Ram’s Sculptures Show: Carving the Present with Historical Context
Ved Prakash Bhardwaj
The essence of Rajesh Ram Sculptures is memories, understanding the past, and understanding the threads between the histories made and the histories under construction, i.e., the present, and expressing the impact of power, power of all kinds of politics in human life. His sculptures are a journey from history to the present. In this journey, he gives voice to the contradictions of life. Rajesh Ram creates stories in his sculptures that are very real. For this, sometimes he goes into the history and sometimes while walking in the corridors of the present, he expresses the seen-unseen scenes in the context of human destiny. That’s why there is a kind of conflict in his art. This conflict sometimes appears in a religious-social context and sometimes in the form of crises derived from the power of political power. Will it ever be possible to compensate for the damage caused by pollution in public life due to the power play of religious, social, and political authorities? Rajesh Ram tackles these questions on a creative level. That’s why he calls his sculptures the carvings of time. His initial identity as a sculptor has been as a socially conscious artist. His current exhibition Carving Time is currently running at the Palette Art Gallery, in Delhi. Some of the works of this series were also recently displayed at the India Art Fair 2023.
Rajesh Ram Rajesh Ram is known for his analytical presentation of social and political situations in his sculptures. Right from his early sculptures, he started probing the layers of social reality. Through local symbols, he has now come to historical references. In his current exhibition, he has gone back in history and selected some references that represent those innate human tendencies that are present in today’s man as well. He says, “I’m constantly exploring the properties of the place of history amidst a fluidity and movement created with heavy connotations of human reality and the power of politics in the life of man.”
Rajesh Ram’s solo exhibition is going on at Palette Art Gallery, New Delhi. For his recent stoneware sculptures, he has combined two types of sculptures installed in Indian temples with the face of Homo sapiens. On one side there are erotic poses, and on the other side, there are poses of the goddess of knowledge and art. Looking at these sculptures, one gets the impression that the artist has presented the immutable physical and intellectual psyche of man. The expressions on the faces of Homo sapiens reveal the present conditions. On the one hand, there is talk of cultural liberalism, and on the other hand, there is an attack on the arts in the name of obscenity. This contradiction baffles the artist. This is what Rajesh Ram has called the relation of political power to human reality. Rajesh Ram constantly investigates this relationship.
An artwork by Rajesh Ram
Ram’s Homo sapiens series is a Darwinian delight. He juxtaposes Homo sapiens with Indian temple sculptures. “I have always had a fascination for the roots of human history, it creates an unending curiosity within me,” says Ram. “In this sculpture, I am creating a bridge between the past and the present. I have portrayed an erotic figurine style from Indian temple sculptures. I wanted to represent fertility and the procreation of civilizations by making these sculptures. Here I have created 10 Homo sapiens sculptures in different styles and figurations.”
By keeping the past and the present together, he looks towards the future. His work proves that Indian artists have much in their tradition that can be the basis for contemporary art. Stoneware is usually a ceramic art material with most artists doing pottery. Rajesh Ram has given it a new dimension.
On the one hand, the displayed sculptures have the realistic form of the sculptures of Hindu temples, and on the other hand, by combining those sculptures and structures with human faces and other shapes, they create surrealist art. This surrealism also has a contemporary consciousness. Through these crafts, many contemporary realities like increasing animalistic tendencies in man, big heads, and materialistic pressure in the form of houses over the heart come to the fore other shapes, they create surrealist art. This surrealism also has a contemporary consciousness. Through these crafts, many contemporary realities, like increasing animalistic tendencies in men, big heads, and materialistic pressure in the form of houses over the heart, come to the fore. Two crafts that highlight the contradictions between private and public life are Relation of War and Relation and War. There is no narration in these crafts, just an idea that helps the viewer access multiple stories from their own experiences.
An artwork by Rajesh Ram.
Rajesh Ram has worked in many of his crafts by combining animal or bird faces with human faces. This is an indication of the growing animalism in humans, which is one dimension of their relation to human life in terms of political power. But these crafts have another meaning which indicates the need for ecological balance. Only the balance between all the living beings on earth can save human society.
There are some crafts in this exhibition that point towards the growing materialistic pressures in human life. For example, we can see the structure of the building above the heart in a sculpture. In metropolitan life, on the one hand, people struggle for living space. On the other hand, the concept of home is becoming increasingly vulnerable. A house means a family whose symbol we can see in the form of a building structure.
While working in ceramics, Rajesh Ram has maintained the texture quality of stoneware. These stoneware crafts have softness as well as strength. For this reason, in their composition, these crafts effectively reveal the physical dualities of human life. These crafts awaken our memory. Prompt us to go back in history to understand our times and their contradictions. This can be called a big success of Rajesh Ram. The work of art is not only to awaken an aesthetic sense but also to make man aware of his surroundings.
If we think about all the crafts in this exhibition together, we find that the artist has created such a surreal environment that inspires us to think about life from many directions. Even while sitting in the temple, our mind wanders in many directions; the pressure of material life does not allow it to remain stable. This is the dilemma of today’s life. Rajesh Ram can be said to be composing it as a group of different crafts.
An artwork by Rajesh Ram.
Blending religious art and architecture in some works that are wall stories avoids human and animal depictions, and these constraints seem to be spiritually effective. Visually glorious botanical patterns and small, specific depictions result in something that feels universal. The pillars and arches constructed during the golden age of innovations in math and science seem to have fed such stunning decorative geometries. Human Roots and Spacecraft are two works that play with symbolism and geometry.
“Sculptures and architecture are records of the past,” says Ram. “Somehow we can track the passage of history through these artworks. It also talks about human development and so many journeys. So I portrayed the human brain to show the roots of human existence. I use architectural representation because it is my favourite expression for my art practice.”
In one sculpture, we can see a hippo with its mouth wide open and a man’s head attached. Ram says that when he sculpted this roaring hippo a few years ago, he was describing a story of power and taking notes on a trip through history. Half the head represents the politics behind the throne. “The composition is a scene that describes how my mind describes the reality of history and the beauty of its many elements,” says Ram.
An artwork by Rajesh Ram.
Rama’s hybrid fragments of Purusha (man) and Prakriti (woman or nature) give us a sense of wonder at both inclusion and exclusion. It’s like travelling at a crossroads. Rama transforms these conflicting feelings into his sculptures, creating a contemplative space of his own duality that is open to all. He employs simple means to achieve the dramatic effect: a single human head or figure, as well as the plant’s stems and roots, shine through complex botanical elements made of stone and treated with ash. Each side of these idols is a mark of brilliance in comparison and form, repeating contrasting patterns that Rama designs by combining and adapting various decorative elements in different visits to different parts of the world. Ancient figures and motifs of human and animal faces cast shadows on the gallery walls. No clear boundaries or separations exist within the fusion of human and animal forms; as we move freely through the dense silhouettes in the gallery, our moving eyes transform the nature of the patterns.

Arshi FF: Charade - Chapter 35
Chapter 34 // Read on FFnet // Read on Wattpad
Chapter 35: Constellation
Khushi
“—I’m here!” Mami-ji flounced into the study. “I asked Hari Prakash to make us some popcorn. Now we can watch.”
She settled on the sofa next to them, eyes already eagerly trained onto the screen. “Hello, hi, bye-bye. I’m eager to see who this Tanya is. In the precap last week she looked so good. All modern and beautiphool!”
Exchanging a look with her Jiji, who sat next to her on the couch, Khushi responded, “The actress is very pretty. I hope Sagar is nicer to her than he is to Muskaan.”
Jiji reached for the popcorn Mami-ji had placed on the table.
“Here, I think he was right to be angry,” she said. “She can’t just do whatever she wants without thinking about the consequences!”
Gasping, Khushi stole some popcorn from her sister’s hand, “It was a mistake, she didn’t know it was his house!”
“You just watch,” Mami-ji gestured at the screen. “You know how these serials go. She’ll vow to never see him again and end up working in his media empire as a receptionist, hello, hi, bye-bye.”
They subsided as the disclaimer came on the screen. Khushi returned to her phone, deleting two emojis from her message before pressing send.
“Payal?”
Just outside the sitting area, Aakash-ji held a shirt as he stared bemusedly at the television.
“Bitwa, what do you want?”
“N-no, Maa, I was looking for Payal.”
By now, Jiji had met Aakash-ji at the threshold of the room, “What is it, Aakash?”
They stepped away to hold a short, murmured conversation. Khushi looked at her phone in an effort to give them privacy, just as it lit up. The screen showed her message and the response:
Khushi: We’re watching Rabba Ve in the study, in case you come home and can’t find me. You should watch with us!
Arnav-ji: Very funny, Khushi.
Smiling, she quickly typed out a reply. He responded almost immediately.
Khushi: Aakash Jija-ji is here too, watching with us. Why don’t you ever join us?
Arnav-ji: What Aakash does in his marriage is his own business. I’m in the car, see you soon.
Jiji returned to her place on the sofa after a few minutes, the shirt and a needle and thread in her hands. Aakash Jija-ji flopped next to his mother after snatching up some popcorn.
“This is nonsense,” he interrupted a few minutes later. “Why are there so many shots of him walking dramatically? It’s taken him five minutes to reach his office and now he’s leaving again.”
“You just shut-up-iyai, Aakash-bitwa. This is no place for your logic, it’s a serial.”
Khushi heart swelled with gladness as she watched Aakash-ji exchange a contrite look with Jiji, who had to stifle a giggle.
The episode was almost over by the time the doorbell chimed. Khushi stood, waving away Jai Prakash-ji on her way to open the doors. Arnav-ji gave her a small smile as she took his laptop bag.
“How was your show?”
Khushi bounced, “It was good.”
They stopped to say hello to Di, who paused in her reading of a magazine to ask Arnav-ji about his day. And again to chat with Aakash-ji in the study.
“Do you really want me to watch it with you?” her husband asked when they were in their bedroom.
Khushi closed the door with a soft click, “No, I was just teasing you.”
He took the laptop bag from her and placed it on the table before taking her into his arms. She exhaled shakily as the tension she hadn’t realised was there left her body.
“I’ve been thinking about something,” he spoke softly. “Will you come back here with me after dinner?”
Khushi peered up at him, “Why?”
“Just come up here with me. It’s important.”
She stretched up to kiss his jaw, and whispered in his ear when he bent his head, “I told you last night: don’t tell me what to do.”
A laugh that lit up everything inside her. He was still smiling when he kissed her, slow and playful. He left her briefly to change and freshen up, and then led her downstairs with his fingers twined in hers.
Shyam-ji had arrived in time for dinner, much to Di’s delight. She showed everyone the tiny pink cap she’d knitted for her rajkumari as the servants set up the dining table.
“Chhote, look, isn’t it cute? I’m thinking of making matching socks.”
The cap looked even tinier in Arnav-ji’s hand. “This is nice, Di.”
“Rani Sahiba is so talented, don’t you agree Saale-Sahib?”
Arnav-ji didn’t reply, though his smile became strained. Di shoved good-naturedly at Shyam-ji as she spoke again.
“You know, the doctor said that it would be good if we played soft music for our rajkumari.”
“I can get you CDs,” offered Aakash-ji. “Payal and I are going out tomorrow.”
“Okay,” Di said brightly, “I’ll make you a list.”
After dinner, Arnav-ji sent her upstairs with a promise to meet her after a few minutes. Khushi climbed the stairs with her sister, who relayed a list of all the things she intended to buy the next day before mentioning a tentative plan to have dinner in Laxmi Nagar. Twirling in excitement, she promised to ask Arnav-ji and let Jiji know in the morning.
Inside their bedroom, she sat on the recliner to wait for her husband. He arrived a few short minutes later laden with blankets and pillows, which he took straight to the poolside. She locked the bedroom door behind him and followed, watching as he set all the blankets on the ground and arranged the pillows.
“You like the stars, don’t you?” he noticed her hovering. “Come, sit.”
She knelt on the edge of the blankets, something unsettled inside her. Arnav-ji reached up to tug her wrist so she fell against him.
“Arnav-ji … someone will see,” she tried to get up.
“What the—? Who will see?”
Khushi shifted nervously, “Mami-ji, you said she was watching with binoculars the other day.”
He made a sound of amusement and held her close, not speaking until she’d tucked herself into him.
“I spoke to her about that. I reminded her that I could have cameras installed all over the house if she was so concerned about what happened in my bedroom.”
“Arnav-ji!”
He was unrepentant, “She agreed that there’s no need for her binoculars.”
They spent a few minutes watching the stars, with him pointing up and naming a few constellations before telling her stories about them. When she accused him of making them up, he claimed the stories were quite famous in history. He stole a few kisses, let her steal a few in return, and covered them both in a blanket when she shivered.
“Khushi,” he began after a short silence, “a while ago you said there’s so much you still don’t know about me. I told you that all you had to do is ask.”
“I remember.”
“Well, then … ask.”
She shifted onto her elbow to look at him, “What can I ask about?”
“Anything.”
She started small. His favourite colour was red, as Di had once told her. His favourite subject at school had been science.
“Who took the photos,” Khushi gestured inside, “the ones on the walls?”
“Me.”
“You!?”
Arnav-ji kissed her soundly, his hand skimming up her side. “No need to be so surprised.”
It took her a while to catch her breath.
“What happened to Sim-ji and Pam-ji from the office? I haven’t seen them since I returned.”
His response was carefully measured, “They felt I’d treated Lavanya badly and asked me to find them new jobs. I did.”
“Oh.”
She fell silent, at first surprised by the loyalty shown by the women, and then not surprised at all.
They were her friends.
“Have you heard from Lavanya-ji? How is she?”
Arnav-ji tucked a curl of hair behind her ear. “That’s one of the things I wanted to speak to you about. I hadn’t heard from her in months but she emailed today. She wants to go into modelling and asked me to connect her with an agent.”
A burst of happiness for her friend. “That sounds great. Are you going to help her?”
“I wanted to ask you first. Does it … will it bother you if I speak to her?”
“No!”
Instantly, she knew she’d answered too quickly. Arnav-ji stroked his finger across her cheek.
“How about,” he said softly, “I tell you when I speak to her?”
Khushi smiled widely, “It’s okay, you don’t have to.”
He brushed his thumb over her bottom lip before dipping his head to kiss her. “She knows we’re married. Said congratulations.”
“Were there other women?” she blurted, “before Lavanya-ji?”
He froze on his way to kiss her cheek.
“Khushi, I want to answer all your questions but some of the answers will hurt you.”
She shook her head, “I’m not asking because it will hurt. I want to understand you. I want to know you.”
With a sigh, he turned onto his back and tucked an arm behind his head.
“Lisa. You met her on the night of the photoshoot.”
This, Khushi had suspected as soon as the woman had leaned in to sniff Arnav-ji’s cologne and run possessive hands over his suit.
“She seemed so …”
“… high strung?” Arnav-ji chuckled. “I know. We only saw each other a few times. She always made it into a bigger thing than it was.”
“That’s it?” Khushi asked, feeling a little better.
“And … Sheetal in college.”
Unlike when he spoke about Lisa-ji, the cadence of his voice indicated happy memories.
“At … Ha … Harv … ?” she tried to remember the writing on his jogging clothes.
“Harvard,” Arnav-ji said easily. “Yeah, she did her MBA with me.”
“MBA?”
“Masters of Business Administration.”
He seemed to relax as their conversation shifted away from his past relationships, and for the first time, Khushi realised how hard it’d been for him to speak about them. The fact that he’d still done it filled her with happiness. Scooting across, she rested her head on his shoulder and slid her arms around him. His fingers found their way into her hair.
“And that taught you to run a business?” she asked.
“The theory of it, yes. When I came back to India, I found it was much harder in practice.”
Under the cover of the blankets, she ran her hand under his shirt and sweater. He jumped a little — “your hand is cold!” — but trapped her fingers there when she tried to retreat.
“I’d used all the money I had just to get through college. When I returned I had next to nothing. Mami believed in me. She sold her jewellery, broke her FD, gave me everything she had. She was my very first investor.”
“Does this mean she owns some of your company now?”
“Everyone does. Di and I control it together, but Mami, Mama, and Aakash all have shares. Aakash gave some of his to Payal. I’ve put through some paperwork, you should have yours soon.”
He wanted to share his life’s work with her. Her heart seemed to swell with the warm and golden sense of belonging. Of rightness. Khushi flattened her palm against his stomach, murmuring a request so he shifted until she could kiss him. He groaned, flipping them around and deepening the kiss. When they came up for air, he was shirtless and her dori was undone and she’d made a mark on his shoulder. Her bangles lay in a neat column above their heads.
“Let’s go inside,” he whispered.
They made it there somehow, though she lost her dupatta along the way, and fell onto the bed in a tangle after closing the curtains. His kiss was hot. The rough tenderness of his touch undid her, a leisurely exploration that had her gasping his name. Never had she felt more treasured, more wanted. Arnav removed the overcoat of her outfit and tossed it onto the floor. He held her in place for another kiss, whispering her name against her lips.
She moved restlessly against him, her hips rolling towards the hardness she could feel pressed against her thigh. He groaned, his hand slipping from her nape, down to her hips, and lower to curve over her bottom. She sucked in a breath when his stubble scratched her skin. An apology mumbled against her neck, his hand angling her so they fit perfectly.
When he traced his fingers lightly over her lips, she remembered the clench of her body as he’d taken her fingers into his mouth. Desire coiled hot and tight in her belly and made her brave enough to tilt her head so his fingers slipped between her lips. A low, taut moan escaped him. Then he turned her into her front with gentle hands. Straddling the backs of her thighs, he dragged the zipper of her dress down. Khushi curled her fingers into her pillow, feeling her breath catch. His hands traced up her spine, unsnapping her bra when he reached it.
“I don’t think you should wear this to bed,” his touch was warm on her skin.
“Wh-what? Why?”
“Less for me to take off.”
She heard the smirk in his voice. Her giggle turned into a moan as he settled on top of her, the heat of his chest on her almost-bare back. When she turned her head to ask for a kiss, he gave her one. It was deep, slow, and made her toes curl as her body throbbed with wanting him. The kisses moved to her nape and then down her spine. She made a soft, desperate sound, feeling as though everything inside her was melting.
Almost without permission, her body arched towards his, and he took advantage to slip his fingers inside the dress and around her ribs. A hand on her breast. She fell forward with a small cry, trapping it there.
“I like you like this,” Arnav spoke in her ear as his hand moulded her. “All mine.”
More kisses, his mouth moving over hers in time with the movements of his hand. And when she thought she couldn’t take much more, he moved away.
“No,” Khushi tried to sit up.
“Take off the dress,” he murmured.
He helped her undress, tugging at her clothes until she was left face down on the bed with nothing but his body covering her. He was still mostly clothed. Another kiss, his tongue inside her mouth as his hand slid under her to resume its play on her breast. Her hands clenched into the sheets. She felt utterly at his mercy, trapped under the heat of him as he had access to every part of her body. But she also felt safe, surrounded by his strength.
By the time he stroked his hand downwards she was almost quivering with need. It was natural to lift her hips a little to give him room. He didn’t hesitate. Her gasp became a moan as he slid a finger down her centre. And then back up, all the while whispering into her ear. All the words he didn’t say in the daytime now spilled out of him, words of love, of adoration.
Arnav’s fingers dipped even lower, breaching her for one breathless second before stroking back up. It was agony. He did it again and again, teasing, playing, sliding his finger deeper each time before retreating, and chuckled at the frustrated sound she released.
“Were working on your patience, remember?” a kiss to her shoulder.
But the next time, he stayed. Kissing her deeply, he did something that made her frantic. She stopped thinking, pleasure burning like wildfire in every cell of her body. It was different from the night before. Tighter and hotter and just more. When her pleasure crested she muffled herself in a pillow, feeling wave and after wave of sensation crash into her. It turned the world red.
When she came back to herself he was still astride her, lazily stroking his fingers down her back.
“You okay?” he asked.
Khushi hummed, trying to turn, and smiled when he rose just enough to let her. He placed her hands on his chest after nibbling each finger in turn and shuddered as she ran her nails down his body. A kiss, tender and possessive and full of desire. A renewed tension twisted inside her as he ran his hands over her body and his mouth followed.
He seemed to get distracted by her breasts, lingering as he took a long, slow taste. His hair felt soft against her fingers. She accidentally pulled at it when she felt his teeth, causing him to groan. He asked if she liked this or this, or maybe this, and with each whispered question, each thrilling demonstration, the frenzy in her body built. His fingers became urgent on her hips and thighs.
“Again?” he spoke against her lips when she arched into him.
Something in her tummy swooped low at his question. She nodded, and Arnav shifted so he could press directly against her. He’d gotten rid of his pants without her noticing, and the material of his underwear did nothing to disguise the scorch or shape of him. He seemed to lose control, his hand plumping her flesh before he sucked a peak into his mouth. She cried out when he rocked, her hands locking onto his shoulders.
He returned to her lips, “Hold on.”
Then he moved, each circle of his hips causing stars to explode behind her eyes. She forced them open to find him looking down at her, eyes ablaze and mouth slightly open, his hair falling across his forehead. The muscles in his shoulders bunched as he moved. It was the unprecedented intimacy of it that did it. She reached the cliff and hurtled over it again, her mouth shaping his name as pleasure rippled within her. He continued to press against her, speeding up as he pushed once, twice.
“More,” he groaned into her hair.
Khushi ran her teeth over the jagged pulse in his neck and bit down. He shuddered, swearing, and froze for several long seconds. His breath was harsh against her ear as he seemed to collapse, feeling heavy, as if — until now — he’d been careful not to let her feel his full weight. Heart still racing, she stroked a hand through his hair until he stirred, taking her with him as he rolled onto this back. His stubble was rough on her skin as he pressed lazy kisses wherever he could reach.
“Give me a moment,” he spoke softly, “and then we’ll get cleaned up.”
There was a pressure in her chest, as if she couldn’t contain the happiness she felt inside. Khushi fought a yawn, “Okay.”

OS: Dil Lagi
Amongst all other pilling problems this one perhaps was the smallest and easiest to deal with hence Khushi decided this is where she'd begin to tackle all the ordeals-one at a time. Maybe that will give her some confidence to get to the sorting business.
As Khushi stood in a freshly ironed white cotton shirt she looked at herself in the full length mirror. The same one where she had imagined a marital life in a green yellow saree.
A smile crept on her lips, she didn't look half bad in his shirt. As insane as it sounded -and felt- she had never felt so close to him. The smell of his lingering cologne reminiscing of his presence, and mere moments after, leaving a desire filled Khushi behind, longing for more. She had lost count of such moments.
What once was a dream, had now become a reality, only it had completely flipped in the process. She had always feared his anger- something now she'd happily deal with instead of hatred and distant anyday. The irony of her situation was so real she couldn't decide to laugh or cry.
She shook her head as she realized why she had been wearing his shirt in the first place.
Khushi took out a sewing kit and started repairing the blouse she had left earlier on the bed. She had just pulled the needle through the other side when she heard footsteps at a distance. Khushi's hands froze midway and raked her brains for a quick solution. Arnav Singh Raizada would be a mad man seeing her in his shirt. He hated the idea of anyone touching his belongings let alone being in it.
Khushi threw the blouse on the bed along with the needle and thread that hung from the back of it. How silly of her to think she could start sorting out her problems with this one. It was nothing compared to the one that was walking towards the room in a three piece suit.
She bit her nails and paced back and forth anticipating her murder from the man who had her heart both figuratively and -soon enough- would have it literally.
Khushi froze in her tracks as she heard the door open.
Arnav entered the room only to have stopped before even entering.
Was she wearing his shirt?
With Khushi there was no such thing as bizarre. Anything and everything was possible.
Closing the doors he walked inside and threw his laptop bag on the bed.
By this time Khushi knew it was best to stay in that position, the longer she could delay the outburst the longer she'd stay alive.
Arnav stopped behind her, oddly surprised by her silent figure.
Grabbing her arm he asked "Khushi tum yeh-"
Before he could say another word she pushed him against the French doors leading to the poolside and looked straight into his eyes.
Arnav's eyes popped out at the bizarreness of the situation.
"What the-"
She never failed to surprise him.
"Shhh" she placed her finger on his lips.
"How dare you!"
"Abhi tak naraz hain mujhse"
She batted her lashes innocently as she lightly squeezed his shoulder. Before he could open his mouth she silenced him again.
"Kaha na sorry"
She smiled with a glint in her eyes. Khushi moved forward and whispered
"Audience"
Arnav looked away in agreement. He could not create a scene now. The most he could do was not let it show how she affected him. Deep down in the corner of his heart he wished to be in this moment without the onlooker. He suppressed the underlying regret and masked it with anger-to convince himself of the show.
He had lost count the amount of times he had imagined her in that particular white shirt. Somewhere he knew his fate and destiny laughed at him mockingly. The irony of the situation made him cringe.
Khushi's proximity was making his heart beat faster than he'd like to admit. She hadn't moved away since that whisper. She began stroking the side of his face with her thumb and moved slightly away to look into his eyes again.
"I promise kal paka chaloongi aapke saath nursery"
Arnav looked at her in the eyes, moved by her sentiment - allowing himself a moment of oblivion. Why couldn't the people of this house mind their own business. These plays for the family only pricked at his heart.
A glimpse of the future-that he often dreamt of -flashed before his eyes. A huge garden where they had their evening tea while their children ran around, air filled with laughter.
Perhaps in an ideal world, where his wife would love him back, understand all the unspoken words, read his eyes.
"Ab to naraz nahi hain na?"
Khushi's sugar coated voice brought him back to reality, where none of his dreams could be shaped. Seeing the look in her eyes confused him if nothing more, he so desperately wanted to believe it. He wanted to forget about everything for a moment and just be in love.
"Nahi hoon" he touched her cheek.
A lump in his throat caused a visible shift in his expression.
She kissed him on the cheek where her lips lingered for the next few moments.
"Thank you"
She spoke while nuzzling against his nose. Khushi smiled looking at his lips, fully aware of her actions.
"Aap change karlein main khana lagati hoon"
She smiled at him and ran out the door.
Arnav remained in the spot long after she was gone, out of all the things he hadn't imagined this from their contract marriage.
Minutes later, he walked towards the dining area only to find Hari Prakash there. Surprised at the unusual quietness- that he absolutely enjoyed- of his house he enquired.
"Sab kahan hai? Koi dikh nahi raha"
"Ghar ke sare log to satsang pe gaye huye hain subah se aapko Khushi bhabhi ne bataya nahi?"
Hari Prakash replied casually and walked towards the kitchen.
As realization dawned upon him he took the closest seat and poured himself a glass of water.
He smiled and the only sound falling on his ears was of his heart pounding.

Who: Kash & Raveena Where: Patil’s Place When: Sometime after the fight
With Vivienne safely delivered to St Mungos, his mind finally cleared enough that he had nothing else clouding his thoughts and he was simply forced to realise that he’d left his sister to fend for herself and his nieces. Faced with the inescapable knowledge that should have been with them all and he hadn’t been. But could he really blame himself when the sight of Vivienne had been enough to make him forget it all? It had been the first time he’d felt like the man he’d used to be. But he was finally struck with the realisation that maybe that wasn’t a good thing anymore. Maybe it had never been a good thing. Not when he’d been selfish and reckless and unthinking. He was supposed to be better than that now. Had been trying to be better than that.
Throat was tight as he arrived at their home, finding it quiet and immediately assuming the worst had happened. Fear threatens to steal his voice and had he been more of a coward he might never have spoken, existing in a limbo where he doesn’t know the answer to whether they’re home or not. It almost feels safe that way, to not know whether his worst fears are confirmed, but he’d never let terror win before and this wouldn’t become the first time. He cleared his throat, dislodging fear long enough to speak his sister’s name. “Vee?” He barely waited more than a heartbeat ( although he could have sworn his own had stopped, forced to pause by the worry that had sat on his chest ) before calling out again. “Vee are you here?”

What is a thread lift & how exactly it works?

Introduction
This non-surgical procedure can lift and tighten sagging skin to restore a youthful appearance. This minimally invasive procedure uses small threads to lift the skin, which can be performed in a single appointment with little to no downtime. In recent years, thread lifts have become increasingly popular as a safe and effective alternative to traditional facelift surgery.
What is a Thread Lift?
It is a non-surgical facelift procedure that uses tiny biocompatible sutures to lift and tighten sagging skin. A small needle is used to put the threads into the skin, and once they are there, they give the skin support and structure. The threads stimulate collagen production, which helps tighten and firm the skin, providing a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
Types of Threads
Two main types of threads are used in a thread lift: absorbable and non-absorbable. Absorbable threads are materials the body absorbs over time, typically used for short-term skin tightening. Non-absorbable threads, on the other hand, remain in place permanently and provide long-term support and lifting. The most common non-absorbable threads used in thread lifts are polylactic acid (PLA) and polypropylene (PLLA).

Who is suitable for a Thread Lift?
It suits anyone looking to lift and tighten sagging skin without surgery. However, having realistic expectations and understanding that a thread lift is not a substitute for a traditional facelift is important. The most suitable candidates for a thread lift are individuals with early signs of ageing, such as mild to moderate sagging skin, fine lines and wrinkles, and a loss of volume in the face.
Preparation
Before undergoing a thread lift, it is important to consult a qualified and experienced practitioner. During this consultation, you will discuss your goals, expectations, and medical history, and the practitioner will determine whether a thread lift is the right choice for you. You should also inform your practitioner of any medications or supplements you are taking and any skin conditions or allergies you may have.
The Procedure
The thread lift procedure is typically performed under local anaesthesia and takes 30 minutes and an hour to complete. During the procedure, the practitioner will make small incisions in the skin, through which the threads will be inserted. The threads are then positioned to lift and tighten the skin, and the incisions are closed with a small stitch or surgical glue.
Recovery and Aftercare
After a thread lifts, you can expect to experience some mild swelling, redness, and bruising, which should subside within a few days. You may also experience tightness or discomfort, but this can manage with over-the-counter pain medication. It is necessary to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner, including avoiding heavy exercise and direct sun exposure and keeping the treated area clean and moisturised.
Conclusion
A thread lift is a safe and effective alternative to a traditional facelift for those looking to lift and tighten sagging skin. The procedure is minimally invasive, quick, and easy and provides immediate and long-lasting results. Considering a thread lift, it is important to have realistic expectations, choose a qualified and experienced practitioner, and thoroughly discuss the potential risks and complications before the procedure.
