Headcanon .o1 - Strelitzia (1/?)

Following the new potential canon and my secondary main verse where Blaine is actually a good guy and was actually chosen by Master Ava to be a new union leader, I thoroughly believe that Blaine was very much upset by Strelitzia’s death.

He was given the Book of Prophecies, and given the fact that the book has a record of everything that has happened so far and what will happen, it’s possible that it’s been documented what the ‘new darkness’ has done in Daybreak Town so far. Because of this, it’s likely that Strelitzia’s death was recorded, and was documented as being a part of their fates.

This is probably why Blaine wants to rewrite their fate, so they don’t end up dead.

This new darkness is going to come and kill all of them one by one just like Strelitzia, and because of this he probably has figured out a way that he can change it. All he has to do is do something other than what the book stated he was going to do. 

Buuut I also headcanon that Blaine knew of Strel and was friendly to her but because of her nature at times she put a lot of distance between them. If this is the case, he feels more responsible for her death because if he didn’t let her put so much distance between them, then he could have possibly helped her locate the player-- but this is just my personal headcanon and would probably have to be up for discussion :’)

          It was one thing to be bothered by the others with useless questions, but it was one thing to have them continuously ask him if he was ok. Sure, he spent hours on end sitting at the desk reading his Book of Prophecies in silence as if it was only him and the book, but there was a reasoning for it-- and the others hadn’t quite grasped onto that concept yet.

          Skuld had spoken to him, but he hadn’t caught it. Normally he was better at listening in on their conversations as well as reading, but this one had passed over him. Lifting his attention from the book-- regrettably so-- he glances over his shoulder to find her standing right behind him.

          “I’m sorry-- what did you say, Skuld?” A pause, as his head tips forward to obscure part of his face. “Please don’t tell me that I need to take a break again, I already took one.” Yeah, for about five minutes, only to use the bathroom and come back...

"You need to get some rest."

        It was true, he really should go get some rest, but would he comply? Probably not. The book was far more important than rest, especially if the contents of the book were true. Everything seemed to line up almost perfectly, threatening the demise of the Dandelions and their world as they knew it. Darkness was eminent; Lurking around the corner and looming right in front of them.

        This just couldn’t happen. He couldn’t allow them to fall to darkness when they had already escaped the Keyblade War as it was.

        “I can rest later.” He grunts, leaning over the Book of Prophecies as he pinched the bridge of his nose in thought. How could they get past their fate when everything that had happened was written perfectly in the book? A sigh leaves his mouth as his hand drops to the desk and his attention shifts to Lauriam standing beside him.

        “Honestly, it would be hard for me to sleep after everything I’ve read today.” A pause, as he glances him up and down from underneath the brim of his hat. “Besides, shouldn’t you be asleep? Why are you up so late?”
