Normally, most would bite their tongue with the retort that listed in their mind. Wanting to avoid conflict or any sort of altercation. Hades, however?

“And you of wasted potential and time..” All the while, the Time Demon’s lips were curled in a twisted, thin smile, hands tucking into the pockets of his overcoat. Yes, this one.. He knew this one. Knew what awaited them, what could, might or should happen.

It was why he said as he did, to Hades it was the truth.. A waste. Then again, there were many that told of such a fate. Yet another lost to the Wheel of Time, crushed in it’s wake... In time, all in time.

“Why ‘He’ wastes his efforts on you and the other baffles me..” He was purposely pushing buttons now. That smile remaining.

As such, he tilted his head to the side. He wanted to see their reaction, how would they take such words. Yet another note for his journals, another observation for his chronicle.

“At least mine is of what I surround myself with. Books, knowledge.. Not that you’d understand such a thing.” True.. Doing what he did lended to him having certainly an odd ‘scent’ for demon standards. Even as well put together as Hades looked, the scent of ink, old books, and a dusty study always lingered with him.

But he quite enjoyed the scent, truth be told.
