When she lost her family. Kasumi...everything she did, including taking this job that would turn out to be a trap she couldn't get out of, was to help and protect her family. She grew up in poverty and they were suffering.

But then she came home to find them all killed and overnight, she realized that she had to make it on her own when she grew up her whole life with that whole family support unit. It was a smack in the face, especially for someone who had no idea how to make it on her own....she had to learn fast.

which muse would try to befriend the others?

Kasumi, definitely. She thoroughly enjoys helping and befriending people, though her job makes that a rare occurrence. She spends a certain amount of her paycheck every few weeks feeding the homeless, however.

"Does anyone want some curry?" She had some leftover after feeding many of the homeless folks.
