hand rakes through hair as the wolf paces. it's clear she's on edge- nothing abnormal really when it came to her. still, it wasn't typical she was like this when at home. most of the time she'd just hole up in her study or garden if there was something going on internally. "I can't fucking sleep Oluwayemisi! I can't fucking close my eyes in my own goddamn house anymore! I can't keep doing this... I'm not young like I used to be. non-human or not I can only handle so much before everything starts breaking... and I can't... I'm so fucking tired... why did they take away this from me? the one spot I had... and now...? now I don't even want my family here because I'm terrified I can't keep them safe. that maybe I'll come home to find them dying on the floor the same way my dad found me! how can they trust me to protect them when I was like that? tell me... hey... tell me? what do I do?"
Fear was a monster, it held tight and dear and it cared for no one but its own greed of consuming what the person was until they were nothing left. Oluwayemisi allowed her to scream and cry it out, though no tears or anger were present, he could tell his family was on the last of her rope. Frayed over the sleepless nights since that night and possibly others on the down low. It was a hard place to defend, a home, it couldn't move like a pride, couldn't be sealed off because of how the world was this side of the savannah but he knew of one way and one way only to protect what was his.

"You do what you need to do." Movement had the larger of the two standing, stepping closer to raise his hand to offer his palm to her to take, though mostly to hold her smaller limb in his with a soft squeeze, but a firm one. "Back in my homelands… We didn't allow those with challenge think of wanting to attack first." He released her hand to instead move his knuckles to her cheek to nudge, to smear aside sweat that formed a droplet, to finally grasp the back of her neck and make her straighten up.
"You let the beast within take over and you fight them at their own games, Loni. Are you not a Leader of your own pack here? Protection is only one and the many things you should be thinking about, but you must also fight." Oluwayemisi was rippling in the face, a flash of his fangs as always - ready to defend his home and aid her in any path taking she needed. "You know this jungle like I know my savannah… Loni, defeat them at their own games. Take out everything and everyone you know that wishes to harm you, because the minute they start witnessing the strength and removal of their friends in the shadows --- they will learn to never harm you again."
Olu's grip was solid, but it softened soon enough to release her with an expecting stare. "If there is one thing my Wife taught me, it was to never… never, threaten the lives of her loved ones. Or so help the Gods as they will be bathed in sacrifices of her rage. She was smart, strong and did not fall until every last enemy was on their knees, exposing their necks to her fangs." His hand rose to the red paw tattoo upon his chest, his memory of her, his foundation from the beginning and until his eventual end.
"Loni - listen to what your beast speaks, use your smarts, your world, your power to take away theirs from the roots. Fight, so you never have to look over your shoulder again in fear of them harming, your Shoto or Bon… "
