aramis’s life had flipped upside down so quickly that he had no idea what to do with himself anymore. he didn’t really want to go home alone after the hospital visiting hours ended, and often just found himself wandering the streets at night. which was significantly less safe than being home alone, but he wasn’t really thinking straight. he just walked until the cloud in his mind broke. tonight, his feet took him somewhere familiar. he didn’t realize it until he’d stopped at the doorstep and had one arm raised to knock. he rapped his knuckles against the wood lightly. “bowen? it’s me. aramis. again.” he whisper-called through the door. it wasn’t the first time he’d ended up at her place when he couldn’t sleep.
