Sakura, what’s having Aki around like? Since she’s within your mind, can you two share thoughts? What do your friends think of her, if they know about her at all?

“Well, it’s a little difficult to explain.. I can always feel Aki’s presence in my head, like someone is always there. Even when she was repressed, I could always feel her there.” 

“I get the occasional headache, but not as much as when I was a genin. I can tell when she’s upset. We don’t share the same thoughts, but we know what we’re thinking. There’s not a lot that I can hide from her. Not a lot of people know about Aki-- Well, except for Naruto, Kakashi-sensei, and Ino. Ino saw her before when we fought. She said that she’s never seen anyone with two souls before, but that’s all she could say about it.”

Wiping the small tears that began to form, jade eyes darted towards the blonde. She was already vulnerable from the results of a failed mission, and after running into him of all people in a shop where she couldn't attack, the kunoichi was angry and upset. While she would have normally ignored the comments, Sakura was already at her breaking point. She was being very defensive, but to Sakura, she had a right to be. 

"Maybe shinobi would be better off if they cried every once in awhile. Did you ever think about that?"
