 contrary  to  popular  opinion  ,  eddie’s  academic  grades  aren’t  reflective  of  his  intelligence  .  he’s  fluent  in  3  other  languages  (  mandarin  ,  japanese  ,  korean  )  because  he  did  grow  up  speaking  the  three  languages  interchangeably  .  but  he  does  have  a  small  fear  of  what’s  to  happen  in  the  future  because  he  sees  that  there’s  not  much  in  hawkins  for  him  aside  from  working  in  a  factory  and  he  definitely  doesn’t  want  that  .

 after  the  upside  down  debacle  ,  eddie’s  recovered  .  he  returns  school  and  did  the  absolute  bare  minimum  to  graduate  !!  and  that’s  it  !!  he’s  done  and  never  has  to  deal  with  high  school  ever  again  !!  seriously  don’t  ever  ask  him  to  do  math  ,  all  you’ll  get  is  confused_math_lady.gif  and  using  his  fingers  to  count
