you really got me thinking about listening to the mechanisms, could you recommend any songs? what are your favourites?

One thing about the mechanisms is that their albums are story-based, so to fully understand the songs you have to listen to albums

The albums are:

Once Upon A Time (In Space)

Ulysses Dies At Dawn

Tales To Be Told

High Noon Over Camelot

Frankenstein

The Bifrost Incident

Tales To Be Told, Volume II

Death To The Mechanisms

There's no order, except that you should save both Tales To Be Told albums for last because they have links to previous albums, and Death To The Mechanisms also for last because that's the last album.

My personal favourites are Once Upon A Time (In Space) and The Bifrost Incident.
