Having Seyka in Legacy Falls had become a godsent, it was easier to visit and spend time with her, and Gaia was only a call away and with her waterwing or Sunwing, she could easily return to base in a day's time. It had been a long day, and Aloy decided to stay here for the night while she had a room of her own that Alva had made sure she had any time she visited, she decided to see if Seyka wanted her to stay with her. The welcome invitation came with the part of the pillow near the bed and her face flushed red with happiness.

She had dressed down to a simple white tunic and some loose-fitting brown pants, along with her hair free flowing; unhindered by the braids or beads she usually wore. Often times she had shared a bed with a companion on missions or when it was in a cold territory. But this was entirely different, it wasn't a necessity, this was… a gift rather than survival. thriving instead of just living. "If there isn't enough room, I can always take the floor," Aloy offered as she climbed into the bed and moved to lie down, her red hair flowing over the pillow like a waterfall. She turned to rest on her left side to face Seyka, as she put her arm under her head.

Bravely, Aloy reached out to lightly brush some of Seyka's hair away from her face and lightly cupped her cheek. "Honestly, this kind of feels like a dream,"

"What?" Aloy questioned, confused at what Kaaras meant. She looked over her arms and her body went she noticed the scratch he mentioned. Actually, it wasn't a scratch, it was a pretty nasty gash as she raised a brow. "Huh," She hummed lightly as if it was nothing to be concerned about.

"I've had worse, didn't even realize I was wounded," Aloy had a habit of becoming desensitized to wounds and pains amid a fight. She set down her spear next to her as she sat down and grabbed some cloth dressings to temporarily bandage the wound til they could return to camp.

"Nil, come on," Aloy said, as she let her hands break against the surface of the water, and threw some of the water at him. "You stink like the end of a boar. Get in here and wash yourself off," Aloy told the man as she shifted and dunked under the water. Her fingers brushed through her free-flowing hair, braids free, and nothing blocked. Dressed in absolutely nothing, she surfaced back up and reached over toward a container of her own made soap to help wash off the grime. The hint of eucalyptus could be smelled on it as she rubbed it against her hands and brushed it along her neck, back, and body, getting herself cleaned.

There was no concern about modesty, as Aloy was not part of a society that taught them to keep clothed. For her, it was just a body, and right now that body needed a wash, and getting her clothes soaked wouldn't help her in any way. "You aren't sleeping next to me if you aren't clean," Aloy said, looking over her shoulder as her fingers brushed through her hair, scrubbing at her scalp. / @redteethed

Aloy lowered the bow as she placed it on her back, and the boar shot fell over before it even knew it was hunted. "I would hope so, I will be dead if I wasn't," Aloy said, as she tilted her head and headed toward the forest covering where the boar was laying and paused for a moment. Wait, did Kassandra compliment her? She wasn't used to such things, more times then not it was insults or annoyances and she took things so literally. Her instinct was Kassandra just commenting but now she was starting to try and break apart what Kassandra said.

Aloy froze at the compliment. How in the world did she even respond to such a sentence. Her fingers brushed up against the braids over her shoulder, the bright red hue of her hair glowing in the sunlight as she passed over a few shards for some food from Meridian's market.

"I um…. thank you?" Aloy spoke though it was clear she was no use to such compliments or mentions of something nice to her in general. Savage, barbarian, outlander, but…graced and awesome? Yeah, those words were not something she was use to hearing as she held her food in hand and moved to sit down to enjoy the food.

Aloy hissed slightly, the wound on her shoulder hurt as she waved her hand. "I know, I know, just… make it quick!" Aloy said as she had taken off her scarf and jacket. The bite mark on her neck had long since healed though the dark markings lined along her throat; a reminder of the infected bite that she was immune to. Aloy reached forward, putting her hands on the rock as she focused on dealing with the pain that was about to course through her body.

She needed to find the will to stay conscious when all this started. Aloy had the bandages and some salve ointment she made from the plants around the wilderness, but still, she would need help bandaging the back of it. "Just, go for it. Don't tell me when,"

Aloy tilted her head as she crossed her arms looking at Bailey as she demanded to not be treated as a child. Gaia had heard the tension, tilting her head from one side to the other before resting her head back down on her legs while the two work this out.

"If you go running into danger half-cocked, then what else am I supposed to do? I'm trying to keep you safe, and I can't do that if you run into danger at every turn!" Aloy exasperated as she took a breath and let her shoulders slag for a moment.

The last thing she wanted to do was see Bailey die because she failed to take care of her. Too many people have died around her, it's why she was alone. Gaia had been her only companion for years now, and she worried that she would be the cause of Bailey's death now. "Just… you've lived through too much to be considered a child, I know. But I don't want you to end up like… I don't want you to die,"

The whole point of explaining it was so that Bailey would understand why Aloy didn't want her to join! She moved her hand up to brush over her forehead, wrinkles creased in annoyance at the young one wanting to go with her into a spore-infested laboratory in hopes of finding some medical supplies. While they didn't need it right now, they might need it later on and Aloy preferred to keep her stock full.

"That… wasn't supposed to be an invitation to join me, Bailey. I'm trying to explain why it's better if I go on alone," Aloy said, as she took a deep breath and sighed. "Fine, come on. But you stick close and if I say run, you run." Aloy said. She rather at least know where Bailey was than have her sneaking alone in hiding and Aloy not realize its her or get her in danger because she wasn't staying behind.

"what did you think was gonna happen ?!" @ aloy !

"I don't know!" Aloy said, as she lifted up her hand and showed the mark on it. "this doesn't exactly have a scroll saying 'this is how you use this magic' for dummies!" Aloy said, as she found herself annoyed with the magic that had inflicted itself upon her. She glared at her palm, but at least mark had done something useful? She had only opened a tear in teh fade once, most of hte time she was trying to seal them. But in a quick attempt to get the demon away from Helena, she had just reacted and the magic seem to respond to her.

"Least the tear is close," Aloy said, walking toward the elf and offering her good hand toward her. "Come on, let's keep moving before a pack of bears decide to attack us next. I am really just wanting to take a break already,"

Aloy held her spear forward, looking at the other as she gripped her weapon with a defensive stance. She had expected bandits, did the fence not stand up well? Shit, all the thoughts ran through Aloy's head as she shook her head. "It's not," Aloy said, as a growl came from around the side of the room and the tiger stood with her ears back. "Who are you? Are there more with you?"
