TERRIBLE FIRST MEETING STARTERS

that’s if he COULD hurt her . claire almost sneered at the stranger’s command , grip tightening on the leather of the male’s jacket. the scent of leather , bourbon , and blood filled the cool crisp air . it was one of those perfect nights weather wise; clear skies, warm pre-summer temperatures , and low humidity . something claire always enjoyed was star gazing or just going for walks at night . all was going according to plan of a brisk walk , midnight snack , then to bed with a book .

that was until while traveling one of the usual paths in thepark the blonde stumbled upon this THING ripping into the jugular of a woman . probably mid-thirties and adorned in a typical jogger’s outfit . before the former cheerleader could even think about making a quick exit , he’d moved with inhuman speeds leaving the lifeless body behind . with extremities now wrapped around her throat , claire struggled against the monstrous strength . was this guy an evolved too ? like her ? strength was never her strong suit . but , oh how she fought . kicking , punching , clawing .
